100% agree. I, as the divorced man, feel so left behind and alone. She initiated the divorce, and she has her friends and family pretty much saying "you go girl!" Terrible feeling. I feel so defeated and anxious about my whole existence Thanks for explaining bro

Haha yeah. What I meant was getting better habits. For me, I gotta stop smoking, stop with drugs, stop with procrastination on my dream projects, stop my inner self critic. Replace all these and more with a good habit , like try therapy and mens groups for the first time in my life

I hear you. It's very hard to change quickly into your ideal self I'm trying to learn, and alot of it seems to be rewiring your brain and killing off poor destructive habits

That's good to hear. I'm new here, but already comforted in knowing what similar situations and scary feelings we are all having, even they it feels sooo damn alone

I'm in the middle too. I feel like I'm crawling thru a hellscape alone. I like your wildfire metaphor, I'm gonna try to remember that in tough moments

How are you doing bud? I had that very night about a month ago. Shock and disbelief will set in and actually protect you from extreme depression for a bit

It is important to realize and remember her dark side and not just the tear-jerking, warm memories. It's tough though. Love will make you miss her no matter what

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
