Eh, I don't believe in downvoting for disagreements. Your argument has a bit of a "slippery slope" ring to it. Yeah, worry is the most pointless human emotion. It can't be applied towards a solution, and it doesn't ready you for a moment (like fear can). It's sole purpose is to consume your thoughts about scenarios which haven't played out, and most likely won't, ultimately distracting you from the present moment. Fuck worrying.

Oh for sure. That's why I said to be careful using it. I wouldn't even really recommend it to someone you've just met. Unless you've already built a rapport with them. I've actually used it with friends more than I do with people I've recently met, so yeah, not sure how great of a line that is to use. I get a kick out of it though, and the responses I've gotten have always started a conversation. It's just a silly way to call someone out, because even if you DO ignore a text, you read it first.

Something that I've done, knowing how often people flake out on texts, is if I send a text and get no response, I'll say something like I KNOW YOU READ THAT TEXT YO Admittedly you have to be careful who you use that with, since it's a "fake mad" text which can be misinterpreted, so I don't use it every time. 100% success for me as well when I actually do though.

I try to have a least a slight smile on my face at all times, maybe a grin or a smirk even. It puts others around you at ease and they are more likely to be receptive to you if you are smiling. Plus it makes you feel good. So yeah, I'd go with that. I have a buddy who constantly has this big grin on his face, and I don't think it's a coincidence that people are always commenting on it and how friendly he is.

I have a beard, but I keep it closely trimmed. If you've seen Law & Order (the most recent version with Anthony Anderson and Jeremy Sisto) that's the look I'd compare to. The MS Paint spray paint tool beard. Like a thick stubble almost. Here's a pic for ya.
