2	I hope this counts. I don’t think the data for the worldwide divorce rate exists. Countries have very different laws and some even outlaw divorce. Some countries don’t have divorce but they have annulment of marriages. It’s just a big mess to plot something like divorce rate for the whole world. If you give me a specific country that you’re talking about, I’m sure I could find data on the divorce rate for that specific place. The crude divorce rate and the divorce to marriage ratio has been in decline since the late 1970s.
