Of course I would. I'm very particular about certain things (like the towels) and not so much about others. It's a give and take. But if I made more money than you would you fold the towels how I want?? Is that the deciding factor?

Interesting. So you wouldn't accommodate your partner at all if they requested things be done a certain way?

You wouldn't fold the towels a certain way so they fit best in the cabinet?

Not everyone can.

That's weird.

Ah gotcha. You ever just tried taking a break from all that negativity? What kind of bear encounter are they talking about too? A bear chasing them or just a bear hanging around? I've encountered a bear before while camping haha

Relationships won't work unless you do your gender role? So a relationship for me will never work with a man if I work outside the home?

I've never heard this. It's a social media trend?
/r/PurplePillDebate21/04/24 03:08 PM

Text for months until someone invites you out with a group of friends?? That's a wild approach. That's hardly even a date. You gotta show a little more interest and initiative than that my friend.

Sure, some people can be.

There's no reason it has to be fair. People can have preferences and go after whoever they want. If I don't fit the bill of someone's preferences why would I even be concerned about dating them? Why would I want to date someone who doesn't want me? I'm just not the right person for them, why would I be upset about it and cry it's unfair?

Yeah I agree. I've never heard a legit argument to this point. Just some rambling about corrupt government.

Did custody default to the mother because you were unmarried? I've heard of that happening before.

I really don't understand the logic of wanting to let one parent completely off the hook for their child. It makes no sense to me. The single parent left over would be then eligible for more government help ($). Why should taxpayers have to pay for someone else's child even more than they already do? How is that fair?

I guess my point is that your original comment I saw said this: "I agree, and women have a mountain of requirements to keep them happy. Dudes are simple: stroke their egos, and fuck them." And if all that other stuff falls under "stroke their ego" then it's not as simple as you were making it sound. But I definitely understand how telling other people that your girl cooks and cleans for you and generally takes good care of you can fluff you up a bit. I see where you're coming from there. Like "L…

So a man changing my oil is stroking my ego? Mowing the lawn is stroking my ego? I consider stroking someone's ego as compliments, verbally telling someone how amazing and handsome they are, maybe rubbing shoulders while I'm telling you some really nice stuff. Just general fluff up. Doing someone's laundry and shopping for them? That's a chore, task, act of service.

I wouldn't call that stuff "stroking his ego"

Guys can be more dimensional than that. Same way that some women are just lower maintenance. A lot of men need acts of service as well to be happy in a long term relationship/marriage. Doing their laundry and folding their clothes the way they like, cooking the meals they like, keeping their grooming products stocked, household shopping for them, packing lunches for them.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/04/24 12:48 AM

That sucks. Were they not appreciative or did it make you feel used or did you just not like being "voulntold" for things? My dad would always help my mom's single friends with household repairs, car problems. I always thought it was nice of him.

Truth. I have a jar in my fridge I've been trying to open for months. This is undeniable proof that women simply cannot thrive alone without a man.

I'm similar. Dating apps are really difficult for me because I need the in person chemistry that comes with having a few long conversations with someone to really know if I'm truly attracted to them. There's initial physical attraction of course and I can absolutely say if a man is conventionally "hot" or not. But for me to actually know I want him takes time to develop. And attraction can sort of develop for me, that's why apps are fucked. Maybe I wouldn't have picked that dude from a line up o…

Dude men will still pay for women at that age too. Ive also never had an issue getting men to pay for me but I like to pay half, especially on first dates. Unless it was a bad date, then I'll sometimes let them pay.

I did some searching. https://www.ajpmonline.org/article/S0749-3797(22)00153-2/abstract00153-2/abstract) There's another reddit post in a different sub where someone asks this same question and Dr K apparently has a reddit account and commented that this is the paper he cited. I'm not sure if I'm allowed to link to other subs posts here but if you're interested I can send you that as well.

I agree that dating is not more expensive for women. I do my hair/makeup, etc, etc regardless. That's not a dating expense, that's my own personal maintenance expense.

So Im curious about the stats you're referencing because when I've discussed male suicide rates in the past one of the talking points that always comes up is that men have less support, usually meaning friends/relationships/people who care that they can go to for help and emotional support. What you're saying seems to counter that a bit, so I'm actually interested to read through it. If you're uncomfortable sharing the info that's ok too. .

It doesn't make sense to me at all why you would wait. But that's just me. You do what works best for you though. But if you have someone who loves you as you are, let them. You can still better yourself, for you, for them, for the life you want together, for your future together. There's never going to be a perfect or ideal time or a time when you're in a perfect state and free of all flaws. That's part of being human. Best of luck in your journey.

Whatever stats you're referencing about men can live longer and happier with little to no friends vs women can't. So you're combining 2 different graphs to come to that conclusion? I'm genuinely just curious.

Yeah I think you're correct. I have a pretty high sex drive but I'm not going to be unsafe. Plus I have the world's most amazing vibrator. I can't sleep with strangers. For me it takes time to build trust and warm up to a new partner and become completely attracted to them. I have to feel safe and comfortable.

I don't think it's because the moms think it's cuter. I think it's more because that's just the standard and that's just what you do. Ignorantly and blindly following the standard. Most of the discussions Ive had with friends they will circumcise if the father is circumcised because then mother and father want them to be the same. No one has ever said it's "cute" I even had a pregnant female friend ask me what the difference was. She had never seen an intact penis and didn't understand. We had a…

I'm not sure what you're asking. Can you rephrase it? But I read those comments and I wouldn't necessarily say I'm someone who has given up or opted out completely. So I'm not entirely sure I'm in your categories you're trying to create.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/04/24 12:16 PM

I genuinely felt like this about the last dude I dated. He was competing with me and I guess you could say my "piece of mind", not other dudes. He sometimes mentioned competing with "other dudes" and there were no other dudes at the time. I broke it off with him because it just wasn't the right fit. I'm sure he could turn around and say I broke it off for fictional other dudes if he wanted to. But the piece of mind or competing with me thing is mostly about my lifestyle. Its about the freedom to…

Men that have been penetrated by other men but are not gay? Like bisexual men or straight guys who fuck other men? I'm just not following.

I heard the humiliation loophole is only letting him penetrate you with a dildo. Then it's technically not him and you're in the clear.

Lots of variables at play. It's impossible to say which one is harder, it's going to be so specific for each person. Also depends on the age of the kids too. And depends on your line of work as well.

I have been both. It's not going to be the same experience for everyone but this is just my experience. I was a stay at home mom from the time my daughter was born until kindergarten age. Then life threw me a curve ball and I am now the sole provider. Hands down stay at home parent with a new baby was harder. It was constant. There was no relief or days off or breaks. It was isolating. I didn't have much help from family or a nanny. I breastfed for 2 years. I truly enjoy going to work just to ge…

I don't care. Im in the middle, leaning more left, pretty easy going can have a respectful conversation. But I've been rejected by several liberal men for a couple conservative views I have.

Don't fuck someone you aren't willing to possibly have a child with. No birth control method is 100%. Your actions have consequences.
