The extravagant social media lifestyles are often lies. No use comparing yourself to some fabricated story. The ig models you’re referencing don’t show what they had to do to get those shopping sprees in Dubai. Yes, there are women that just wanna be alone. I’m 25 and most of the time, I don’t really want to date either. And I’m not sure what the age for the wall is this time, but women still get approached by plenty of attractive men when they’re 30+. It’s also fairly natural to stop comparing …

Yeah I mean I don’t use dating apps for hookups, so it’s a little different because I always meet them in a public place the first few times

Not sure what app you’re talking about, but you sometimes can on instagram. If you have any DMs with them, or see another user @ them in comments on another post, click on that link to their profile, click on the three dots in the upper right hand corner of the screen, and press block. You could also type their @ in a comment (don’t post the comment) and when the link to their account appears, click on it. This will only work if you know their full username though And you shouldn’t be able to se…

That sounds like a lot of work…probably not. If I was that unsure about whether or not someone was worth dating, I just wouldn’t date them
/r/PurplePillDebate18/10/25 04:28 AM

I’ve got a lot more “filters” on just to weed out the weirdos and the liars when using dating apps. I’m just generally a lot more cautious
/r/PurplePillDebate18/10/25 04:21 AM

This might just be me, but I personally wouldn’t reveal details about something as personal as details about why I’m in therapy to people from dating apps that I haven’t met in person. That’s something I’d wait to reveal after I’ve gone on several dates with someone, and have gotten to know someone better. Assuming you have done work to change and no longer take your stress out on others, I think it would be wise to get to know a woman more first (so she has a chance to see that you have strong …

Some women do get like that when they’re in love
/r/PurplePillDebate06/09/25 08:15 PM

Go to a good surgeon, get a natural look, and no one will know you got work done. It doesn’t have to be “socially acceptable,” just do it if you want to.

She could just have been single for most of her life. Maybe she just wanted casual relationships, but now wants something more serious. Or maybe she had a few open relationships during that time, and wants something monogamous now. Or maybe she’s had a few monogamous relationships, but has a lot of casual sex when single

“N count is just a number” 😂 But that makes sense. I probably should’ve mentioned that the woman with the high n count has no STIs since that would immediately rule her out
/r/PurplePillDebate01/09/25 03:33 PM

Assume she wasn’t a sex worker. Since both of them would have personalities compatible with yours, they also probably wouldn’t have severe mental health problems

lol you didn’t get the sarcasm, huh? And no, I’m not going to take accountability for the lies that men tell. I’ll take accountability for believing them- which I used to do when I was younger. Now I don’t. Hope that helps!

If you had to choose, would you rather marry a virgin only fans model, marry a woman with a body count of 200, or die a virgin? What’s the reasoning behind your choice? Assume that both women are equally attractive to you, and both have compatible personalities. Assume that these two women would be your only opportunity to have a long term relationship in your lifetime.

Everyone has a right to their own (legal) preferences. I typically don’t have an opinion about that unless I believe their preferences are unethical. I don’t think preferring promiscuous women is unethical. While I do have my qualms with the porn industry, I don’t think a romantic attraction to porn stars is unethical

Yeah. If I’m with one of my friends, I’m not gonna leave them to go off and get a drink with a guy. He’ll either buy us all drinks, or leave. Usually when that happens, the guy will come up and compliment one of us, then talk to both of us for a little, get us drinks, get the number, and leave

Secret wife and/or kids, possibly paranoid- especially if they only use anonymous sites, potentially a mild to moderate superiority complex, secretive. Of course, these won’t apply to everyone who doesn’t have a digital footprint, but I’d look for signs of those traits if I was dating someone with no digital footprint
/r/PurplePillDebate21/08/25 08:10 AM

Yeah! I just feel like having something for self defense offers peace of mind
/r/PurplePillDebate20/08/25 08:48 PM

That’s kinda wild. Is there just a really low crime rate? At the very least, you could get one of those personal safety alarms, right?
/r/PurplePillDebate20/08/25 12:58 PM

From my understanding, red pill women typically try to avoid red pill men. They tend to put an emphasis on vetting well- weeding out the type of men who would leave them for a younger woman if given the chance

Even most fathers think like you, not all do. These laws don’t exist for the men that love their kids and are willing to work hard to support them. They exist for the men who are intentionally withholding support for their child, and don’t give a fuck about their child’s wellbeing

/r/PurplePillDebate20/08/25 03:36 AM

/r/PurplePillDebate20/08/25 02:13 AM

Decent strategy, but still, you’d be surprised by how many non-sociopaths can lie effortlessly. All they need to do is find a way to rationalize their lie- which isn’t too difficult

Fr because I’m still not fully deprogrammed from my “premarital sex = eternal damnation” brainwashing…and it’s been almost 7 years since I lost my virginity 💀 It takes a lot of work to have a healthy view of sex after believing that shit

I mean chocolate is good, but I wouldn’t rate it above good sex. I don’t know your wife, but that sounds like the kind of comment someone might make if they’re trying to be passive aggressive (unless it was just a joke). Is she upset with you about something? I suppose she could also just have a low sex drive
/r/PurplePillDebate19/08/25 05:57 PM
1

Do you think if you eventually had your fun, and then decided to get into a relationship, would you still care about n count?
/r/PurplePillDebate19/08/25 04:09 PM
2

Wow I’m sorry you experienced that. I hope your brother is okay. I suppose a lot of my struggles also involve mostly constant mental health issues, so I understand the difficulty of having something wear you down each day. I still just don’t personally view romantic loneliness as that distressing. I think if a person has no emotionally intimate friendships, then being single can feel harder though
/r/PurplePillDebate19/08/25 04:07 PM
3

That would be the greatest tragedy of all
/r/PurplePillDebate19/08/25 02:55 PM
2

Then why do you care if someone has low n count? Is the issue just that it would make you insecure to know that your partner has slept with a lot of other people?
/r/PurplePillDebate19/08/25 02:54 PM
1

Which one of those options sounds worse for you, just out of curiosity?
/r/PurplePillDebate19/08/25 02:50 PM
5

Genuine question for those that care about n count in a potential partner: do you ever worry that someone could easily lie about their n count? If you’re dating someone completely outside of your social circle, how could you know if the person’s telling the truth? What’s the point in asking if someone could easily lie, and you’d have no idea?
/r/PurplePillDebate19/08/25 06:28 AM
3

Well I appreciate you not calling me a liar. I would’ve expected some to question how long I’ve been single, or demand to know the number of dates I’ve been on- to give a couple of examples. I mean I was technically a virgin in my last relationship, so I guess I kind of relate in that regard? There have also been a few periods of time where I was single, and had no platonic relationships…that level of loneliness is really tough, and I do feel for the men who are experiencing that kind of isolati…

How many relationships did you have, are you currently in a relationship, what was the longest time you were single in adulthood, at what age did you have your first kiss? Oh, and are you asexual or something along those lines? 2, no, 6.5 years, 16, definitely not…I think being single occasionally sucks, but is mostly not a big deal. In fact, I enjoy most aspects of it. Now those who disagree with me would probably have a list of follow-up questions that they’d want me to answer until I say some…

Yeah whenever I don’t validate someone’s beliefs, it’s “you’re full of shit” or “virtue signaling” or “LIAR”…whatever other bs they can come up with to make themselves feel better
/r/PurplePillDebate18/08/25 09:48 PM

Oh wow I forgot about the friends who were just tryna hit category. My list just doubled 🤦🏽‍♀️ Edit: Read the rest of the story…I’m so sorry you went through that. His behavior is disgusting
/r/PurplePillDebate18/08/25 01:11 PM

Personally, I label the guys that used me as the ones that lie about their intent when dating. I’ve had men take me out on dates, act interested, say they were interested in something serious, and then go back on it and say they don’t want anything serious once I have the “define the relationship” convo with them. Had one guy even say “actually, we’re just friends 😂 If we’re only talking about committed relationships, I’d say a man is using me if he expects some kind of behavior or a certain amo…

I don’t think they’d have to be the best, but if I don’t enjoy the sex, it’s not gonna work for me. I think if a guy was perfect in all aspects except for sexual compatibility, I’d see if he’s willing to accept feedback. If he’s open to trying new things, I’d probably give it a shot. Otherwise, it’s a no for me
/r/PurplePillDebate17/08/25 10:08 PM

I knew a guy that did it lmao If he’s really hot and doesn’t gaf about loyalty, it’s definitely possible. Never knew a woman that did it, but I’m sure it’s equally likely if she’s hot and wants to cheat

Right…I’m full of shit because I don’t validate your beliefs. Makes perfect sense I’ll make the first move with men that I already know as a person- not a random hot man. A super attractive guy could easily be an insufferable human being. Why would I want some rando who I don’t even know to ask me out just because they’re hot?
/r/PurplePillDebate17/08/25 04:55 PM

How so? It’s not uncommon to value personality as well as looks, and it’s impossible to know someone’s personality by just looking at them

I’ve never been told I needed to lower my standards…if we’re talking about general advice about men specifically, I actually tend to value advice from men more. I’ve never had some random man give me advice about my dating life. If they did, I probably wouldn’t listen. I only listen to people I’m close to- who I know have my best interest at heart

I’m sure, but doesn’t it feel worse to have someone disappointed by your height after meeting in person? Like if that happens every time, wouldn’t it just feel less shitty to not experience that in-person rejection?
/r/PurplePillDebate15/08/25 11:18 PM
1

If you’re using dating apps, it seems like you should probably just put your height on your profile. I think most apps have that now
/r/PurplePillDebate15/08/25 09:04 PM
8

Kind of? Dating is emotionally tiring for me (dating apps), so I only really actively peruse it in short bursts. I guess my desire for a relationship is much smaller than my desire to avoid annoying bs.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/08/25 09:00 PM

No. All victims of DV and human trafficking should have access to care In fact, given that most DV is reciprocal and in the cases when it's uni-directional it is women who are the majority of perpetrators, the deal should also include a 50% explicit and permanent reduction of funding for female domestic violence victims. Do you have any evidence of any of these claims? It’s honestly quite appalling that you really think any victim should receive less access to care just because they’re women. If…

You think an average woman has more options than a 10/10 woman? Really?
/r/PurplePillDebate15/08/25 07:21 AM

I’ve only ever seen it happen in comment sections. I’d assume the types of men that insult beautiful women would be too cowardly to say it to a woman’s face

The same reason insecure women sometimes try to tear down other women: Jealousy
/r/PurplePillDebate15/08/25 06:12 AM

I wouldn’t necessarily say an average girl has more options, but a 10 gets hit on incessantly. The attention becomes pretty meaningless when it’s constant
/r/PurplePillDebate15/08/25 06:07 AM

I vote for a rent-a-sex-bot program. Seems like the most diplomatic solution here And 15% of the profit can go towards victims of domestic violence, or trafficking victims or something

/r/PurplePillDebate14/08/25 01:38 AM

This. It’s not hard to tell when a man is just projecting his fantasies onto a woman. All this typically does is push the women who are actually interested in genuine connections away because they aren’t being seen as a whole person, and attract the women who just want attention
/r/PurplePillDebate13/08/25 02:35 PM

I clearly stated that the patriarchy is oppressive to men. Do you not understand the ways in which the patriarchy oppresses men? Would you like me to explain that? I’m not going to argue with you about “who is more oppressed”- that would be a fruitless endeavor.

You’re treating “doing something for yourself” and “being influenced by a system” like they can’t happen at the same time…they can. People enjoy things while still being shaped by cultural norms- men included. A guy can lift weights for himself and still be influenced by male beauty standards. A woman can like makeup and still recognize that beauty standards, reinforced by both men and women, exist. That isn’t hypocrisy…it’s just how social influence works. Patriarchy wasn’t created by “all men.…

/r/PurplePillDebate08/08/25 02:18 AM

I’d just need 1 post (not a story, but an actual post). Beyond that, I don’t care. I don’t post much on social media either. I think if they were one of those people that really didn’t use social media at all, I’d be okay with not being posted. I’d still do it though. It would probably lessen the number of dms or texts I get from dudes

I’ve never gone out with anyone that approached me on the street…or anywhere outside of a bar. A lot of the time it’s a creepy old guy, or a creepy young guy. Sometimes the guys aren’t creeps, but usually it’s not attractive men my age. I did go out a few times with guys who approached me at bars, but that never really ended too well either.

You don’t have to have a roster…idk where you got the gay loser idea from, but there’s really nothing wrong with dating one person at a time if that’s what you prefer And since you’re looking for something serious, I don’t see why you’d have to put on a fuckboy front. I can imagine that would actually be a turnoff to women who are looking for something serious
/r/PurplePillDebate04/08/25 09:40 PM

Guys I met? I care about how much attention a random guy gets from women. If I was dating them, I’d only care if he was flirting with other women. If I was in a relationship with him, it wouldn’t matter because I only get into relationships with people I trust

/r/PurplePillDebate27/07/25 04:56 AM

Do you have a study to support your first point? It is intense…which is why it doesn’t happen frequently for most women. Some may not enjoy the intensity, some do. Doesn’t mean it’s impossible You haven’t provided any evidence that the ability to have multiple, consecutive orgasms in a shorter amount of time indicates “less intense” orgasms. And I haven’t claimed that the female orgasm is more intense…I said it lasts longer, on average, than the male orgasm Why is it so important to women to cla…
/r/PurplePillDebate27/07/25 04:21 AM

It kind of builds off of nihilism. Your mind won’t necessarily be changed, it just offers a different, and less depressing, perspective
/r/PurplePillDebate27/07/25 04:06 AM

You sound like a nihilist, so I was just gonna recommend that you try reading some Camus. That helped me get out of the “everything is meaningless and dull” nihilistic depression spiral

“Feeling good” isn’t an orgasm. I’ve never met a woman who’s had an orgasm, and doesn’t know what it feels like…perhaps there are some who don’t know, but it’s definitely not a common issue. And 45 seconds isn’t mild for women… I honestly have no idea where you’re getting your information from, but just because men have to biologically stop having sex for several minutes after an orgasm, doesn’t mean the male orgasm is “more intense” than the female orgasm.

I don’t see how men suffer from only being valued for their appearance more than women lol Anyway, to answer your question, if she doesn’t really like talking to you, or doesn’t really ask you about yourself, she’s probably just attracted to your appearance. If she acts like you’re perfect super early on in the relationship (before she really knows anything about you) she may be projecting her fantasies onto you because she’s only attracted to your appearance
/r/PurplePillDebate21/07/25 07:49 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate11/07/25 02:46 AM

But it’s just a fantasy. Most single people have fantasies of what their ideal partner is, and many people end up projecting that fantasy onto someone. If the relationship ends before that person realizes they were just projecting their fantasy, they end up feeling like their “dream partner” left them…keyword here is “dream” I think once a person can separate that fantasy from the past memory, they may realize they were just grieving a potential relationship that would likely never have happened…

I thought the “male loneliness epidemic” had to do with the higher rates of addiction and suicide among men. PPD taught me that while that might be the root issue for some, there are men who see the male loneliness epidemic as an issue of women having standards that are too high because there are too many single and virgin men. I also saw how significantly social media can impact a person’s perception of others and the world as a whole. I did learn how to better spot a red pill dude and their ma…

I think that's definitely sexual assault, and I'm sorry you had to experience that. I also think going to the cops (like someone mentioned earlier) could be helpful protection for you if you're comfortable doing that, this coworker sounds like a predator. If you're struggling to process what happened, it might help to talk to a therapist about it. In my experience, therapists who have some kind of specialization in trauma tend to be well equipped to process things like sexual assault.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/06/25 04:42 AM

Yeah I know. I was saying this example I gave is pretty much sugar babying: legitimately broke women who don't want to lift a finger are demanding a millionaire man and a marriage where there's no equal partnership, and she just sits around and drinks wine

I was creeped on by a lot of older men from as young as 13, and I know this is a pretty common experience for a lot of girls. When I turned 18, it got worse. There'd be this weird fixation on my age, almost like this was as young as they could go legally, but if they could, they'd go younger. It was pervy and gross, and I hated having men, that were literally closer in age to my father than me, trying to sleep with me. So yeah, I'm going to judge the hell out of men who do that because they made…

Though those aren't "real" relationships, I think people can absolutely form strong enough attachments to ai girlfriends that it feels real to the person- especially if there's sexting or actual sex with a robot (though I'm not sure an ai girlfriend in a robot body exists now). Ultimately, people define cheating in different ways, so it would be dependent on the couple. I would consider it cheating though

There are some girls who can manage to get by in school if they're not hyperactive, and simply learn the skills to get through elementary and even high school. But many w…

You stipulate that "the patriarchy" means "everything that goes wrong in the world" and suddenly everything wrong in the world is patriarchy's fault That's some very circular logic. The patriarchy isn't "everything that goes wrong in the world." Some people may define it that way, but that's not actually what the patriarchy is. The patriarchy is just the system of beliefs that men need to hold power and dominance over women, and the enforcement of very traditional gender roles. I don't really li…

Except of course that the 'systemic' nature of the Patriarchy as described... is just saying 'men did this to themselves' but with extra steps. I hear you, and I think there are definitely people who use the word "Patriarchy" in that way. However, I don't think the patriarchy is some code for "all men." It's a concept used to describe how a select few men hold all of the power, and those men are pushing this expectation on all other men that they must hold power and dominance over women in order…

I also have adhd. It’s kind of ridiculous to hear that you have it and know what it’s like, yet still think that boys without learning disabilities have a harder time learning than girls with learning disabilities. In the future, you shouldn’t invalidate the experiences of other people with the same disorder that you have based off of some TikTok or YouTube videos
/r/PurplePillDebate05/06/25 04:25 PM
4

Guess what, girls with adhd are still better at learning than men are in schools. That’s an incredibly ignorant thing to say. Do you know what it’s like to have ADHD? It’s a learning disability. Do you really think that girls with learning disabilities have an easier time learning than boys who don’t have learning disabilities? Just think about that for a second. Proper behavior in class isn’t equivalent to learning.

A science isn’t invalidated by its history. Every scientific field has made decisions influenced by the culture of its time, astronomy once placed Earth at the center of the universe. Even if they're not going for supermodels, they may need to realistically lower their standards or accept being single if they can't get dates with the types of women they want. Men and women choose who they want to date, controlling this violates autonomy. No. The patriarchy negatively affects men in precisely those ways. It's a shame you haven't heard that before, but it's true. The patriarchy is to blame for things like the draft as well. Men are expected to lead, be strong, aggressive, dominant and protect women because women are seen as weak and incapable. Thus, men, whose job according to patriarchal standards, is to lead and protect the weak (among other jobs), are used to fight in wars. As I said, it also causes men to avoid seeking mental …

ADHD is often overlooked in girls because of the fact that it can look different in young girls vs boys. I felt like it was an important consideration especially since OP mentioned attributes like being misbehaved, and noisy (which can also happen with those who have adhd)

Yes. If people want to have a shot at achieving their goal, they should make it a realistic one. If they’re okay with perpetual dissatisfaction, they should continue to have an unrealistic one. To use the billionaire example again, I could probably reach a million or maybe even tens of millions depending on how much effort I’m willing to put in, and what kind of sacrifices I’m willing to make. That would be a much more realistic goal to have.

Goals can be unrealistic. I want to be a billionaire, but that’s pretty unrealistic. Should I sit here and whine about not being a rich Texan man with oil money who’d have a better shot at being a billionaire? No. I should either keep working towards my goal, or work towards a more realistic one. Many men just aren’t going to get a 10/10 supermodel. If their goals are unrealistic, they ought to get some realistic goals. This is similar to women who have standards that are so high that they’re un…

I’m a firm believer in controlling what you can and accepting what you can’t, and you can only really control yourself (in matters pertaining to your own personal life). If I want something, I should do everything in my power to get that thing. That attitude is much more productive and beneficial to me putting all the blame on everyone else, and doing nothing to get me closer to my goal. Lack of sexual and romantic success is due to the fact that men and women have free will to choose who they do and don’t want to date, and how much effort the man or woman is willing to put into dating. If a guy wants to put all of the blame on the fact that women don’t choose him, and refuse to acknowledge that they do play a part in things, that’s a part of my loser definition.

I’ve heard from many feminists that issues like increased homelessness, suicide rates/poor mental health, addiction and imprisonment among men are due to the patriarchy (aka. It’s systemic). I think it’s also fairly accepted among most feminists that traditional gender stereotypes don’t make room for men to express their emotions, and get mental health care.

There are laws that state that you cannot steal from, or physically harm another human being. People in a civilized society are tasked with not physically harming each other- thus ensuring each other’s safety. As a standard, many countries use terms like life and liberty- stating that each person has a right to life and liberty, among other things. Again, what country do you live in? I can find laws that indicate this (if you live in the west). If you don’t want to share that, I’d be more than h…

No. I’d think they probably lack confidence and social skills, but the inability to attract women alone isn’t indicative of being a loser, in my opinion. To me, losers have issues with their mentality and work ethic. If someone couldn’t attract women, and they were blaming women for it, expecting everyone to cater to them, and refusing to get up and work on themselves to try to improve their situation…that would be a loser

Confidence is a bit easier to define, imo. To me, confidence has more to do with feeling comfortable in one's own skin and having a high self esteem. Arrogance and grandiosity falls into the overly inflated ego/narcissistic/likely insecure territory. /r/PurplePillDebate01/06/25 01:02 AM

If you’re lying about something that would make a person change their mind about whether or not they’d want to sleep with you, I think that’s considered a form of coercion. However, there are varying degrees to this. Lying about an STI would be much worse than lying about a body count, in my opinion. Regardless, I think lying to get someone to do something they otherwise wouldn’t do is unethical, but people still do it, and there’s not much anyone can do to stop that

I usually think the person who asks the other person out on a date is the one that pays. I always offer, but in my experience, the one that asks is the one that usually pays. To me, a good person is an ethical person. I believe in moral neutrality, and physical appearance would fall under that category in most cases. It seems like your definition of a good man or woman is in the context of being a good partner. Even then, I still think a good man/woman is an ethical one. If by good man, you mean a romantically compatible one, you can’t really create a universal definition for this. Everyone is romantically compatible with different types of people.

I didn’t relate it to wanting men they dated to make a certain amount. I simply said that women have a “biological need” to provide for their offspring, and saying men who “go against their biological need to have sex” by not manipulating women for sex are good men, is just like saying women who go against their biological need to provide for their children by not manipulating men for money are good women. This is a philosophical question that has been debated for centuries. It’s not necessarily quite so binary. This also depends on how you define good and evil- which also varies among ethical theories If we’re operating under the definition of good = promoting happiness and wellbeing, and evil = causing harm or suffering, then the actions of another person could impact me in 3 different ways. It could either promote goodness, have no impact, or promote evil. The way I see it, if someone chooses n…

That depends on how you define what is good. I think that “good” and “evil” are a spectrum, and that many actions could simply be neutral. For example, choosing between lettuce and spinach in a salad is a pretty neutral action. Choosing not to scream at or hit someone when they piss you off isn’t being good, it’s just not being evil. Showing kindness and empathy towards someone, even when they’re making you angry, is an example of being good. Ultimately, this depends on what ethical theories you…

I think if someone is saving up to buy a house in an expensive city, it's perfectly reasonable to live at home. I find it more of a turnoff if they're living at home with no real plan for when and how they plan to move out by late 20s. At my age, I wouldn't think it's weird for someone to live at home. She filled up a water balloon and started poking holes in it saying “this is what happens each time you have sex before marriage.” Eventually the whole thing burst open and the dude on the CD was like “if you keep having sex before marriage, you’ll be empty and you won’t have anything to give your husband” 💀😭 I straight up had …

I’m not sure if you actually understood what I meant when I said it’s disheartening. It’s disheartening that most male friends I’ve had stopped speaking to me when they make a move and I say no, or when they get into a relationship. It shows me that they didn’t really value the friendship- that they were just pretending to care about our friendship so they could get with me, or use me as some kind of girlfriend placeholder. Losing friends like that is sad…I hope that makes sense. you already hav…

That doesn’t mean that the biases we have due to our life experiences are any less damaging. There are a few differences between the behavior of men and women, but there are way more similarities. Fixating on the differences and allowing biases to dictate opinions breeds racism and sexism.

If you have legitimate statistics on this, I would be interested to see the actual average weight difference. Gaining 5-10 pounds isn’t “getting fat,” so I’m curious what that number is. But, my entire point is that grown adult men and women should be capable of self improvement because they have the desire to be the best version of themselves- not simply to get sex (or money or whatever material reward). Parents teach toddlers to do things by giving them some reward when they clean their room, …

I’m not even talking about setting men up with other friends. I’m just talking about going out to bars and helping them approach women. Women are a lot more receptive and at ease when another woman is present- especially a hot one. I used to do that shit for my guy friends all the time

You’re completely missing the point. A grown ass adult man should be capable of practicing self improvement because he wants to be the best version of himself. People can technically do all kinds of things. But to use sex as the sole reason for self improvement is incredibly immature. Also, I’m not sure why someone would get into a long term relationship with someone they don’t trust. If they have trust, a man won’t need to control his partner to make sure she doesn’t cheat- he should be able to…

There are plenty of emotionally stupid women in the world. The reality is, it takes time and effort to develop emotional intelligence. It’s typically not a skill set that people are just naturally born with, it takes work. It’s possible that women are able to do so a bit faster than men because it’s not quite as socially acceptable for men to express emotions. However, if there really is a difference of average EQ between the genders, it likely wouldn’t be a big difference. I think women may pot…

I’m just gonna assume you’re a man here…do you loathe your own gender? Your entire post assumes that men are overgrown toddlers who are incapable of behaving without some clear extrinsic reward. I’m not a man myself, but I believe there are lots of men who are capable of self improvement because they simply want to be the best version of themselves. I suppose you got one thing kind of right. Men who require sex as a reward for self improvement really shouldn’t be in long-term relationships.

I actually get way more “monetary support” from my female friends, and I’ve never had male or female friends help me with physical labor…my dad and brother have, but no male friends have done that. Nearly every male friend I’ve had has either stopped talking to me when they make a move and I say no, or stopped talking to me when they get into a relationship…it’s quite disheartening. No…

Context really matters for this. Emotional intimacy is generally not desired in casual relationships because it’s supposed to be casual. In the context of romantic relationships, emotional intimacy is desired by emotionally available men and women. There will always be people that praise racist/sexist/discriminatory rhetoric because there will always be someone that agrees with it. No, it’s not. You clearly don’t know anything about S&M- which are acronyms for sadism and masochism. Sadism is gaining pleasure from inflicting emotional and/or physical pain, masochism is gaining pleasure from experiencing emotional and/or physical pain. You can’t logically equate that to simulated rape. Some people may have rape fantasies, but “simulated rape” is not what S&M is.

Just to be clear, I live in the US, so I’m speaking from the perspective of US law here. Cheating is obviously a shitry thing to do, but it’s not- and shouldn’t be- a criminal offense. In the US, marriage is treated as a civil contract, not a criminally enforceable one. That means if one person breaks the agreement (like by cheating), the consequences happen through civil courts- divorce, custody arrangements, financial settlements- not through the criminal justice system. It’s not like breaking…

I wasn't talking about rape. Race is pretty irrelevant with rape. I was referencing the fact that men of color are sometimes afraid of walking alone at night in certain areas because of the way certain cops would view them in that situation. I know a few men who have had the cops called on them for simply walking or standing somewhere by themselves. It's a legitimate fear that many men have

Yeah I'm personally not a fan of saran wrapping someone's head, or anything else that has such a high risk of death. S&M isn't always that extreme. The sexual aspect of S&M produces parallels between it and drug usage, where people keep chasing more extremes for a better high. Yes, it can trigger addictive behavior in some masochists. That doesn't mean that masochism is a death sentence. There are plenty of people who are masochists and don't exhibit this behavior. Here's a good article that hig…

I think there are ways to practice s&m without harming people. Enthusiastic consent is pretty much the key. There are people who don't give a fuck about consent, and I'd agree that's depraved. However, I don't think that's the case with people who practice kink safely. Sadists don't always derive pleasure from inflicting pain on people who aren't enjoying it. There are many who only enjoy inflicting pain on masochists (because masochists enjoy it). I understand that s&m is probably difficult for…

I'm talking about casual relationships. Not people you date. And yeah, some young women like to trauma dump early on in romantic relationships and friendships. Well men could just pack up their things and leave if they're getting abused. Its not like the women's going to be able to outrun them or out muscle them. Come on...don't resort to victim blaming. Women also find a way to leave when they're being abused, but the self esteem of a victim is destroyed by the abuser. Leaving seems like an impossible option because they believe their self worth is nonexistent, and operate under the belief that their abuser will change. This is the case for men and wo…

Yeah I think that's also the case for women getting men (for relationships, sex requires barely any effort). They just kind of have to play the long game. Like they're selling luxury cars to a first-time buyer. I suppose it would also be the same for men who are trying to get in a relationship with a woman who's not that into him from the start

Agreed. I think it also results in serious developmental issues when children are exposed to porn (which is happening at an rapid rate). Process addictions like porn and sex addiction do hijack the brain's reward system (just like substance addiction), and that is detrimental to any child or teen's mental health. Young boys and girls can also end up watching rough sex and s&m without understanding the consent that needs to happen in those situations. This adds another complicated layer of what i…

Men recognize that the dating market in the west is bad as a result of the lack of traditional values and look for a partner overseas with more traditional values. Most people don't come outta the womb with high emotional intelligence. Therapy can help with that. Therapy can also help someone identify the root of their problems. Some men and women might just be insecure and unhappy because they're not in a relationship. Others might feel that same insecurity for those reasons, but also have unprocessed experiences and trauma that exasterbates the insecurity about being single. In that case, a relationship would just be a bandaid.

There comes a time in every serious relationship where people start opening up about their past trauma, hurt, or whatever else you want to call it. That would be the time to open up about your traumatic experiences- a false accusation in this case. It’s really not that complicated. And like I said, if her trauma happens to be that she was sexually assaulted, don’t bring it up right after she tells you that she was assaulted. This is where common sense comes into play.

No one should trauma dump to casual hookups. If you agree to be casual, then there’s no emotional vulnerability...not everyone is cut out for casual relationships, and that’s okay, but that kind of emotional intimacy just isn’t really acceptable during a casual hookup. 100% many of them are degenerates and the content of those group chats are utterly repulsive, and that small part of me that still had a lil naive, soft, christian high school girl mind died. So, my roommates and I went and rated all of the same frat dudes and made a whole excel spreadsheet for it. It was actually kinda fun

I think rape jokes are pretty equivalent to holocaust and school shooting jokes. I don't really hear a whole lot of the other jokes you mentioned, but they would also be pretty tasteless. Some people view rape as "worse" than murder because there are many cases where murder is justified and necessary (self defense). However, there are never any cases where rape is justified. It's a crime that people commit for the sake of evil...there are no situations where it could be seen as necessary. I'd sa…

Rape jokes are insensitive and tasteless...similar to other genres of very fucked up jokes. There are many women who have been raped and sexually assaulted, and joking about that experience around someone who may have had that experience is incredibly classless. There are also many men who have been raped too. Making jokes about it around them just perpetuates the shame that men and women who were victims feel about their assault. Rape is incredibly traumatizing and causes severe psychological d…

I think social media plays a part by warping peoples perceptions of reality. I also think newer technologies have made process addictions much more common (online gambling, porn, video games, social media ofc). Escapism is instantaneous now. True self reflection and accountability requires looking in the mirror and identifying when, how, and why you are the problem in every aspect of your life. It’s uncomfortable and hard, and it’s a lot easier to avoid that work…especially when there’s so many …

Claiming that makeup adds 1-2 points to someone doesn’t mean you know anything about what makeup actually does and how it works. Facial ratings are neither objective nor consistently measurable. No one is denying that makeup enhances people’s appearance and makes them look more attractive. Simply stating that in typical cases, makeup doesn’t alter a person’s appearance to the point where they look like a different person without makeup
/r/PurplePillDebate04/05/25 10:07 AM

Yeah I know it’s not socially accepted, but I think it should be. And more men could definitely wear tinted sunscreen/moisturizer or maybe even a light coverage foundation and concealer without people noticing.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/05/25 10:00 AM

Well…it’s important to a lot of women (for themselves). Clear skin makes a lot of women more confident. I personally like looking in the mirror a little more when my skin is flawless
/r/PurplePillDebate04/05/25 09:46 AM

Girl me too but I don’t think that’s a popular opinion 😂
/r/PurplePillDebate04/05/25 09:43 AM

Oh well I’m sorry to hear that. Cheek and jaw fillers are also better alternatives to contouring for those that need it. But that’s true, women do have a greater variety of clothing options. Men can achieve similar effects through wearing colors that are slimming and complement their undertones, and good tailoring. I do think that men should just normally wear makeup. They’d look better with foundation, contouring and brow makeup if necessary.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/05/25 09:42 AM

Shit I feel like I’m slacking now lol. The only thing that is socially unacceptable for straight men is makeup. The beauty standard for men is different from women, and men do have facial hair to achieve things like contouring. But I’m guessing you wouldn’t need makeup with a skincare budget like that.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/05/25 09:17 AM

Do you know anything about makeup? I already explained what the male equivalent of contouring cheekbones and jawline is. Nose contouring is unnecessary with a rhinoplasty or a non-surgical nose job To actually alter your appearance in a significant way (where the woman looks like a different person without makeup), you’d need to use SFX makeup techniques (special effects makeup). Most women don’t know how to apply makeup with that level of skill. Like I said, men wouldn’t benefit from eye makeup…
/r/PurplePillDebate04/05/25 09:06 AM

I mean...makeup enhances features and can conceal some blemishes. It doesn't alter your appearance in a significant way. The average women aren't out here doing SFX makeup on a daily basis. Men can have their own version of contouring through facial hair. That can be shaped to create an illusion of a more defined jawline (or hide a bad one), and define their cheekbones. Straight guys wouldn't really benefit from eye makeup or false lashes because neither of those things would align with the stra…
/r/PurplePillDebate04/05/25 08:32 AM

Men can dress for their body types, get good haircuts, have a skincare routine, and use the same more invasive treatments that women use (filler, cosmetic surgery). The only thing that isn't quite as socially acceptable for straight men to use is makeup.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/05/25 08:04 AM

Makeup enhances women's features. Women can do eye makeup and wear lashes to draw attention away from blemishes. Dressing for your body type can give the illusion of a different body shape.

Reality: "the world or the state of things as they actually exist, as opposed to an idealistic or notional idea of them." Yes, confirmation bias exists outside of digital spaces, but it's much easier to rationalize this bias when a person sees posts with 1M likes that affirms whatever delusional belief they have. You can stay at home, and do all the cooking, cleaning, and childcare if that’s what you want to do. You’re seriously saying that there’s a subset of women who want random men that they don’t know to disrespect their boundaries and “chase” them? That’s so bizarre. I’m not gonna flat out say they don’t exist because there are some insane people out there, but significant??
/r/PurplePillDebate22/04/25 03:07 AM
2

That’s not what I’m talking about. I’m saying if a woman says no, you should leave. Literally all I am saying is people should respect other people’s boundaries and accept the word “no”

What? Who has a problem with men accepting when women say no? I’m not saying you shouldn’t approach women. I’m just saying that if a woman says no, leave her alone. I don’t see how other women would have a problem with that. Pressuring women into doing things is not okay. That is precisely the bs that makes women weary of random men approaching them.

No like I’m speaking to someone on the phone, in the middle of a conversation with the phone to my ear, and they tried to come up and say “you’re really pretty, can I have your number”
/r/PurplePillDebate21/04/25 03:13 PM

Hahah yeah I personally wouldn’t call that creepy
/r/PurplePillDebate21/04/25 03:11 PM

Do you say a lot of sexual comments when first meeting them? Some men will also literally interrupt women while they’re in the middle of something to try to ask for their numbers. I wouldn’t call that creepy, but it’s definitely rude and obnoxious. I’ve had a couple men try to interrupt me while I’m visibly on the phone 😂
/r/PurplePillDebate21/04/25 11:48 AM

No you’re not. You did a shitting thing, and now you have the opportunity to make it right with your family by apologizing, and do what you can to make sure this doesn’t happen again You’re human, it’s okay to make mistakes
/r/PurplePillDebate21/04/25 11:41 AM

You’re right. But refusing to accept the first “no” is when things become problematic. If a man respectfully asks a woman out, and leaves her alone when she says no, that’s different from a man persisting after the woman says no, or demanding a “satisfactory” explanation for her “no”
/r/PurplePillDebate21/04/25 11:29 AM

Taking responsibility for it is one of the hardest aspects of change. And we all have our moments and seasons of being a “red flag.” Falling deep into shame won’t do you much good. I like to rage journal lol. Just let it out on paper or typed…helps me with emotional regulation. It also helps me get at the root of my anger so that I can actually process it.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/04/25 11:19 AM

Most of the time it’s not a question of “what would you do in this hypothetical scenario”- at least, I don’t typically reply to those. It’ll simply be a question of what I (as a woman) currently think and believe about some general topic. I’ll share that belief, and have at least one dude trying to tell me that I’m wrong because “I’m lying” or “that’s not how women think.” People may subconsciously consider the most positive outcome in hypothetical scenarios, but these accusations persist when w…

Yeah I’ve been in a relationship with a guy awhile back who had “rules” like that and I left it fairly quickly. Doesn’t change the fact that those rules are rooted in insecurity, and I think it’s immature, emotionally devolved, and controlling as hell. 🤷🏽‍♀️ I’m bi. If someone tried to impose those rules on me and I put up with it for some reason, I’d have no friends. 😂

You guys are in a relationship so I’m sure having a conversation about your fetishes/fantasies would be very normal. He probably just doesn’t understand what you’re looking for. Some very insecure men and women make “rules” that their partners can’t be friends with the opposite sex (or just throw temper tantrums if it happens). It’s super controlling and rooted in insecurity, and the people who impose these rules are often cheating on their partner as well. It’s stupid, but unfortunately many of my female friends have been or are currently in relationships with men who are like this

Did you read the comment? I’m not sure why you’re still confused. The previous commenter claimed that they don’t look like kids (minors) because they are done with puberty- it’s quite easy to deduce that the claim implies that puberty makes 16 year olds look so adult-like that it’s ridiculous to say they look like kids.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/04/25 09:17 AM

I said they have baby faces in response to his original claim that 98% of 16 year olds are done with puberty- implying that the 98% look like adult women because they are done with puberty. Does it make sense now? It might help to reread the original post to understand the overall context

Thrillers and horror are meant to scare people. They’re entertainment, not real. Our experiences dictate our fears- not literal movies and films. I was scared of movie previews I saw as a child, but at about 15, I grew out of it because I recognized that none of it is real. I enjoy horror movies and thrillers now. If my television consumption dictated my fears, I’d still be afraid of demons, serial killers, being tortured, dismembered…the list could go on. I’m no more afraid of those things than…

“we all know that men are most attracted to 18yr olds” Why is it always brought back to this 😂 I suppose the men who only care about a woman’s age (and no other attribute) are settling by staying with their wives. But I don’t think the majority of men have the sole criteria of “must be 18” when dating- that’s very two dimensional
/r/PurplePillDebate16/04/25 03:08 PM

Yes. The draft wasn’t rooted in a prejudice against men. It was rooted in the belief that women were incapable of fighting in war, so men would be the only ones left to defend the country in dire circumstances. Still unethical, in my opinion, but not rooted in misandry.

As an autistic man I often forget that people ask questions that don't mean what they're literally asking. That's very understandable. The "ex" topic with new dates can be a difficult conversation to navigate. My working theory is that she was trying to ask that, and that the reason she wanted to ask is because my language was too expressive and also literal when talking about my ex. When it comes to talking about exes with new potential partners, I think it's wise to talk about them in a neutra…

/r/PurplePillDebate16/04/25 05:33 AM

From what you described, it sounds like the issue could have been the fact that you said you’d want to visit the country your ex lives in. From the way you explained the conversation, it’s possible that “would you want to visit the country your ex lives in?” was just an indirect way of asking “do you want to visit your ex?” When you said yes, she may have assumed that you’re still hung up on your ex and that you want to go visit her.

Being hurt by someone specifying their dating preferences is a matter of insecurity. This is similar to saying "it's wrong for a super thin and toned woman to post bikini pics because it makes some women who don't look like that feel bad about themselves." People don't need to bend over backwards to make sure an insecure person's feelings aren't hurt. So you have a wife and started that relationship through her approaching you…and you’re telling men who want a relationship that they need to do as you did in order to get the relationship they want? Everyone’s life, personality and experiences are different. What works for you will not work for every other man on the planet. It’s ignorant to assume that it will, and it’s harmful to spread such black and white thinking. I assumed you were miserable because you sound so resentfully miserable. I g…

I also wouldn’t want to mimic my behavior based off of the government’s actions 😂 But when people are asking for your opinions, you can absolutely share them however you want. I don't "want men bound to gender roles." Don't twist my words. I said that I think it's stupid to tell a man who wants a relationship to not put in effort into getting a relationship (by not approaching women). I don't give a flying fuck if some subset of men stopped approaching women because they're mad that they were expected to do it. This alone is proof that women are not good mates nowadays and men would be better off lonely than with... that mentality. Sure dude. You were clearly just wai…

Fucking Christ this is ridiculous. Do you have a PHD in mind reading? What makes you think you know everything about the motivations of others? Why do you think everyone has to fit into your little narrative? You literally know nothing about me, stop assuming that you do. Stop assuming that the motivations of other people you may or may not actually know about are going to apply to me. I am not the only woman who looks good for herself. I can't think of an ethical theory that would support aborting babies for the sole reason that one of the parents is absent in their life. Even if we were to use the utilitarian approach, how can we be certain that a child's life will result in more pain than joy just because they grew up without a father? And how can we know that the child wouldn't want to be alive- even if they end up experiencing suffering? I know several people who grew up without father figures. They experienced some strugg…

If a man wants to do that, I don't care lol. I'm not going to stop him. But if a man wants a relationship, he shouldn't choose to be lonely just because he's angry that women aren't approaching him. That only hurts himself, and it's bad advice to give someone who wants a relationship.

It takes a lot to change the patterns of an entire society. People are better off approaching if they want a relationship, and not doing so if they don't want a relationship. Men won't collectively stop approaching women when they're looking for a relationship. Telling men to stop approaching women even though they're looking for a relationship is just going to lead to more men complaining about how single they are and how it's "all women's fault." I mean, if a straight woman was looking for a r…

You don't have to approach women if you don't feel like it. But if you're single and you don't want to be, it would help to approach people. No one is forcing anybody to approach anybody. There are women who approach men when they want to as well.

I have enough self awareness to discern what my motivations are for wanting to look good. Change is always difficult, but it's sometimes necessary. The neural pathways that dictate behavior and describe personality are like dirt paths. The more they're 'walked on,' the deeper they are. It's difficult to change, but not impossible. It takes an immense amount of work, and the motivation to successfully do it has to come from within. Some people need to change in order to save their own lives at some point, others can manage to spend the rest of their lives in a state of discontent. The…

Yeah being in a STEM field has made it extra difficult to keep thoughts at bay, I still feel like I need to overcompensate just for being a woman. it was more so that I was very judgmental. You don't have to agree with modern or radical feminism to be a feminist. A core aspect of feminism is simply about allowing women to choose how they want to lead their lives. Because of feminism, we can vote, work, drive, and choose not to get married (and still be able to support ourselves). Women are also free to lead more "traditional" lives if that's what they choose.

For me, there has to be a little bit of physical attraction to begin with. It's pretty rare that I see a guy who I'm super physically attracted to right off the bat- without ever speaking to him. So in general, the guy needs good personality traits for me to be attracted to him enough to want to sleep with him. I can't speak for all women, but I definitely do experience a lot of shame around it. I grew up in a very religious household, where religion was also very much tied to culture. It was much more socially acceptable and "normal" for men to be sexual beings, but I grew up thinking that my value as a young woman lied in being a virgin. I struggled a lot with thinking that female sexuality was shameful and wrong, so I definitely learned to suppress it. I grew up thinking that as a woman, you "give a…

First of all, one single woman doesn’t speak for all women. Second of all, this entire subreddit doesn’t even speak for the majority of women. And this “study” that the data is pulled from is far from reliable and valid. You can’t just say “oh, here’s a singular woman (or even the majority in a subreddit) who isn’t attracted to most men. That, with a fuckin OkCupid study means 80/20 is real!” Finally, I’m bi. I think women are more attractive, and I’m just attracted to less men than I am women.

You've just unlocked one of my memories lmao. I've got a private account, but some random dude from church that I knew (back when I had to go) started insulting me in a comment under a random vacation post. I was so confused and kinda hurt because I literally did nothing to this man and was only ever nice to him...I now know he was an incel lol But I agree about the 'logical gender' thing. It's so ironic because claiming that an entire group of people consisting of half of the population is illo…

Online dating is very overwhelming for a lot of women. I really don't think most of us would care

/r/PurplePillDebate06/04/25 11:57 PM

If you go through life having to reject a lot of men, you typically learn how to do it nicely. Less attractive women don't get hit on as much, so they may not have learned how to be kind and drunk lol Also, from what I've observed, a lot of men have a habit of only viewing hot women as objects (bar/club settings). I'm not sure how you approached or behaved around these women, but if you weren't just fixated on their appearance...it's refreshing

Unfortunately, the rich guys I’ve come across are so fucking controlling and I can’t stand that shit. Fetishization is simply reducing a person to whatever aspect of their body you’re attracted to. If you’re viewing a person as a whole person with their own individuality, but you just like the fact that they’re a certain ethnicity because you’re attracted to some set of physical attributes associated with that ethnicity, that’s fine. Fetishization is objectification. Having a type just means you’re attracted to certain attributes that may be associated with a specific ethnicity, in addition to t…

Honestly, I’m not sure. I don’t know a lot of people who have gotten divorced, but I do know a lot of kids whose parents got divorced. Some of them were relatively fine, some definitely had some mental health issues related to it. I think divorce just complicates a child’s development in some cases. I had just listed some fears that I’d have if I ever had to get a divorce. I’m not sure how common messy divorces are in the US though.

Yeah my high school was super Christian, so I didn’t really start to escape the mindsets until college. I also did a lot of self-guided comparative religion study using resources in my university library. It was helpful to see how all religions connect and how they change based on culture, and how certain sects are almost …

Yeah I just try to remind myself that they just haven’t successfully deprogrammed themselves lmao It can be hard to understand how toxic your beliefs are until you have some firsthand experience revealing how destructive they are. People’s resentment clouds any semblance of empathy

Yeah it’s something meant as a compliment, but it’s also another way of othering people of color. It implies “you’re beautiful but you don’t align with mainstream beauty standards and I can’t tell what your ethnicity is.” People mean well when they say it, but it’s frustrating. It kinda triggers that part of me who thought I was ugly as a kid/teen because I wasn’t white 💀

Short isn't a dealbreaker unless you're insecure. Sure, there are women who just date tall guys, but it's not a large enough percentage that you'll have no dating prospects if you're short. 4/10 can become a 6/10 with a good hair, weight/body, and a skincare routine (all changeable things). I'm not trying to minimize it, but height and facial structure are nowhere near the only things that matter in a relationship. Dealing with your insecurities in general and building some confidence is also an…

According to the snapchat man filter, I'd be a sexy man lmao Also, my goals in life have nothing to do with relationships. I want to be rich in the tech industry, and that's easier to do as a man. I'm in my last semester in college, my classes consist of 80-95% men, depending on the class. It's exhausting to have a bunch of men just assume you have no idea what you're doing just because you're a woman (the men aren't all like that, but enough of them are). Oh so if you were to lose weight, you'd also lose it in your face. If you're already thin though, then there's no need to lose weight. Unfortunately, you can't target facial fat specifically. I'm only a year older, so idk what the timeline is for losing buccal fat. When it comes to cheekbones, if yours aren't very high, there's not a ton you can do for that right now. You’re gonna be hard pressed to find a lazy, insufferable, stupid man who’s in a long term, happy and health relationship with a woman just because he’s attractive. I’d say 99% of people don’t have perfect hair and facial structure. You can go to the gym and work for a good body at any time. You can learn how to dress well, get a good haircut and have a skincare routine whenever you want. The grass is always greener. Yeah I think if you move for a better quality of life (all of the reasons you just listed) that’s great. I was just saying if the sole purpose is getting women, that makes no sense and is unlikely to produce any real happiness (as there are some downright miserable people on here)
/r/PurplePillDebate03/04/25 03:36 PM
2

Yeah I guess I was referencing more of the overall dissatisfaction with dating and life as a whole that some of these guys have. I don’t see that realistically changing by moving abroad and finding a woman with a higher bs tolerance. Moving abroad solely for dating purposes seems so odd to me
/r/PurplePillDebate03/04/25 09:08 AM

I do think they need to be physically attractive as well. They don't need to be unrealistically attractive, but they need to put effort into their appearance. I don't think having a good personality and being moderately attractive are particularly difficult, but there's a lot more effort required of men than there used to be
/r/PurplePillDebate03/04/25 04:46 AM

Lmao the bottom of my palm to the top of my middle finger is 7.5 inches...I'll have to add a 3D model of my hand with extra long acrylics so I can visualize 8 inches too. Might add an AR banana to visualize the curve, and a diameter-labeled eggplant for girth- these are some great ideas for the hard launch
/r/PurplePillDebate03/04/25 04:38 AM

Except, we live in an age where women no longer have to get married for survival, so there's absolutely no need for us to settle for some bullshit. Men need to put in real effort now, I think that's why the serial complainers exist. Some of these do negatively impact women, but we can't ignore the fact that dating for women has significantly improved as well. I wouldn't say it's all specifically geared towards men.
