Dude, that’s just the tip of the iceberg. That’s just the only thing I did that I caused. My story, is long but juicy. You can’t make it up. But all that matters is I got 50/50. No alimony. She gets 25% of my take home for CS since she’s was a SAHM.

Before we separated, I admitted to her that the day she said she filed that I had suicidal thoughts. She was being so nice for those three weeks before separation that I had zero clue she was recording every interaction in pursuit of a PPO and full custody. She failed, but it was a hurdle I created and I had to leap.

Mine was 7500. Most will look at how much custody will be contested. An honest attorney will give a bit higher retainer after reviewing the complaint. But if you and her can settle, it will be far less money. Just don’t fucking call them like they are a therapist. Write down Questions or concerns and save them for emails. Dont send just one sentence emails. Dont call or text. Email all you can. Obviously phone calls will happen but keep it organized. Communication is the most costly part of the …

Apple can be stopped remotely via iCloud. The old stuff will be there. But go to the iCloud and disable that phone from the account. Give her no further info

You must be fairly early on in the process. I’m 4 months separated. I remember the first time I took the kids out on the lake. So many great memories made with her along side out there. It definitely felt like something was missing. I cried during the moment. I still have bad days trust me. But time with the kids gets better and better. Without her judgement or nagging on what you do with them, my kids absolutely love when they are with me. It’s lonely when they leave but that’s when I focus on …

I say stop looking for love. Start loving what you do and then love will find you. Forcing it will end in the same reality that got you here today. Life is short but long man. 18 months is a drop in the pan when you look back in your actions 10 years from now. Thats the only perspective that makes sense for me. Picture yourself in 10-15 yrs looking back on how you handled it.

I’m at the tail end of it. It sucks in many ways depending on your circumstances. It’s a roller coaster, I find myself grieving the family life more than anything. But acceptance is key. Then find your path forward. One day at a time. Focus on you. For many of us, it will be arguably the best thing that ever happened to us. We came out a stronger, better and happier person. One of my favorite quotes that helps me during this is “No tree can grow to heaven unless its roots reach down to hell” Car…

9 hit me hard. I’m still in the middle of it all and hurting hard, but 9 is so damn true for me. To the point I would park up the road and chill for a bit before texting on my way home. Even then I knew it was sad. 2 months into the depression and anxiety and I know things will get better. Much much better than ever before.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
