That's the reality of the patriarchy discussion in a nut shell. Get rid of the bad parts of the patriarchy which harm women but don't get rid of the parts of the patriarchy which harm men.

People that are good to each other only if they gain from doing so are disgusting. Saw a TikTok recently where a woman asked men what they would think about a woman complimenting them. She received THOUSANDS of comments of exactly the same thing from men: I'd think it's a joke or they're trying to get something from me. The irony of women thinking "men only want sex from us" is that they're unaware of men thinking "women only want labor/money/protection from us". We could all be way better to ea…

OBJECTIVELY FALSE and it also doesn't matter. A boy/man getting an erection is not consent.

There doesn't appear to be a reason to continue talking to you. The misandry drips from every reply even when I try to steer it back to some level of reason and understanding. Goodbye.

You do not need a citation, it is ridiculous to state that 40% of women watch porn. https://www.addictionhelp.com/porn/statistics/ states that it's 39%. Now that's just watching porn. You then added the judgement to this statistic that they're not doing it because they want to and you claimed to know their motivation. I've provided a source for my assertion and I was looking for yours that indicates motivations are statistically known. This is the ultimate fantasy and why it attracts so many fem…

The vast majority of women do not 'watch' porn, they look at it to see what men like sexually, so they can emulate it and please their partners. [citation needed for this assertion] But men would rather ignore this very specific trait of female sexuality. I picked up reading women-authored romance novels. There are certainly interesting aspects to female sexuality that I gleamed from these books but also just how horribly written the male characters and the overall relationship dynamics. The men…

Men regularly troll each other due to their insecurities around their sexuality. It's why they call each other "gay" or try to make each other feel bad about those feelings because they see it as shameful as that's the messaging we've received our entire lives. I know from lived experience.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/10/24 09:21 PM

Why would you bet money that's the reason (as a woman) when this man just told you what he and other men experience. Why deny his lived experience? As a man I wholly agree with him.

So much so that your little girlfriends will all pretend they like it too, just to appease you. 40% of women watch porn and more than 50% read smut. Don't pretend you're a victim now. Men are victims of the patriarchy as well as women.

Pretty privilege and just female vs. male privileges generally are so misunderstood. A hot guy vs. hot girl have very easy times on dating apps but what comes from that is far from the same. A hot guy gets laid. A hot girl can make millions.

So should women be required on the first date to talk about their spicy books they read and why "knotting" is at the top of that list?
/r/PurplePillDebate01/10/24 09:13 PM

When men talking about "birthing hips" they're called creeps....... So men aren't even allowed to do the same thing women do without that judgement.

Good men have listened. Bad men haven't. Women are being approached by bad men because surprised pikachu face they didn't listen or respect women. This leads women like /u/nightsofthesunkissed to think what they're seeing/experiencing is "all men" when it's not.

It's as if you don't see the difference between a completely anonymous outlet and real life or even that one group is different from another group. You could see 1 million internet comments but that leaves out 160,000,000 men/boys in the US alone.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/10/24 09:07 PM

Which is true. Men are taught before puberty a ton of horrible, anti-male stereotypes. Men are shamed for their sexuality as OP rightly pointed out and we're made to feel like predators and creeps. But then some women want some of that desire to come out but only the parts that they are comfortable with not our actual sexuality which causes a lot of repression. And let's not even get started on the boys/men that don't feel 100% straight. A bisexual woman is far, far, far more accepted than a bis…

Luckily the judicial system determines what is a crime not internet commenters. Argue for lower consent laws if you want but it quite literally is a crime at the time it occurred.

The legal result was that she was charged with her crime and I don't know if she tried to use the PP during it. This entire interview, however, is the media giving a criminal a very public chance at an appeal to emotion. Glad she's in jail and that they caught the people she helped escape.

For the most part, this sub is about equality in very controversial ways. One of the most common is that if a woman hits a guy like in the video it's because of the PP and thinking they won't get hit back. The guy denied it: PP Denied. Right? So, /u/SuggestiveMaterial's comment agrees with everything here. She says that, as a woman, she would expect to get hit back if she did this. AKA: wouldn't use the PP. I'm not seeing the issue.

Exactly. Is reading comprehension so bad here that they got to the word "female" and just hit the downvote button without continuing?
/r/PussyPassDenied12/08/15 02:29 PM

Even though it's answering a sarcastic question, it still doesn't make sense that /u/SuggestiveMaterial's comment was downvoted. All she said was that she expects to get hit back if she hits someone. The outlier where she started it was when someone sexually assaulted her. Everything about her comment seems reasonable to me.

That's not how fights work. You don't throw punches and expect to get exactly the same in return. You then throw a harder punch and the other person responds. You start a fight, it's gonna end one way or another. The only thing I would say is that someone shouldn't be in a fist fight, think they're gonna lose and then pull out a knife or a gun or something. Americans have odd views of regular fights. It's just pure aggression - you dish it out and something's coming right back at you. When it's …

That Facebook rant is clearly the other extreme, not some definitive source of information. A woman with her 3 children were attacked? Really? Just attacked randomly by partying teens in a pool? Bullshit. Either a woman wasn't attack or, if she was, something bad happened between that woman and the attacker. It's far from a complete story. In general, the real truth lies between the two extremes.

No you don't. If you want to be raped then it's consensual. What you want is obviously just sex. This is the retarded response everybody gives when hearing about females raping males. Grow a brain.

Despite the excellent story, the easiest way to respond to these sorts of statements is swapping in a different group. The next time you see: Men are fucking dogs or Kill all men Just say: Yeah, and Jews are fucking dogs, too! or We should kill all Blacks, too! Believe me, they won't believe they're being sexist to denigrate men and they won't acknowledge your point but at least you'll be able to see who understands how to words from the replies.

This whole rape on campus thing is ridiculous. As the speaker pointed out, this is the only serious crime that the courts try to have the campuses look into. That's ridiculous. This needs to be investigated like any other serious crime complete with evidence gathering, testimonies, trials and due process. Yes, you may be upset to be doubted on your story and have evidence taken. However, that's how this fucking thing works. If you can't prove it happened then you're shit out of luck and I feel b…

It's marginalization. It doesn't happen that often so we shouldn't worry about it. OK, well then 20% isn't that high so we shouldn't worry about rapes, huh? Of course not. We should worry about all of this.

Exactly. They were talking points that were quickly refuted or put into proper context. A good example is the person talking about the chances of a man being falsely accused of rape. This is total false accusations divided by total number of men which is a useless statistic. They try to drive the point home in proper action news style by comparing it to stats like the chances of winning a powerball lottery. This has nothing to do with proper debate and the person isn't even making a point. The s…

how the hell is she gonna keep them there while she calls the police? She can't. She legally can't. She can't detain them and stealing their property as a method for holding them there is illegal. Her only play was to call the police to have them run out of the area. That's it and it might suck to have to wait but that's the fact of the matter. Honestly, if you really want to deal with these types of skaters in person you go in totally honest. "Hey guys, I don't allow skateboarders on my propert…

Fifteen-year-olds Shateemah Harrison, Alexandria Petrondla Evans, Elias Esquivel and 14-year-old Sarah Murphy are being charged as adults and, believe it or not, face 45 years to life in prison due to a litany of charges. The charges were issued with the consideration that the deeds had been done on behalf of the Crips. Have fun in jail, folks.
