That mindset is unsustainable... Eventually you'd end up with a place where minimum wage workers cannot afford to live and they all moved away. Then you're left with an enclave of rich people and no one to flip their burgers, dry clean their clothes, or sell them gasoline. No one is going to commute hours per day for a minimum wage job.
