I think that might just be from your perspective. My father took ballroom dancing in college as part of an etiquette course and he said the women there often made fun of him. I have been openly mocked for asking for help in online spaces after trying to get into crocheting to connect with my grandmother more. I ended up giving it up for other reasons, but the point is that most of that flak came from women. There are good and bad people apart of every hobby and I think if you (in general, not yo…

I don't disagree with your premise, which is why I said it is up to the woman to choose what hobby she wants to get into, but you chose probably some of the worst examples to do so. Like I've had friends into vid games and the men get nasty when they find out she's a woman in a shooter game Gamers talk shit to everyone, and women are no exception. If you think they were being overtly sexual, you'd be surprised at the amount of very gay things I've heard on voice chats. That's just gaming. The re…

It's more along the lines of, if the people in line keep having this one trait you don't like (or several), then you need to put up some signs and do a better job of filtering people with those traits out, not just keep complaining that people have those traits.

Huh. I applaud you and your son(s)/nephews, as I think that is the right sentiment to have, but statistics show that men are becoming more and more single, and more and more celibate. 63% (2022) of men under 30 are currently single, and that number is up from less than 10 years ago (47% in 2015). I don't disagree that men should be very "out and about" as you say, but it's becoming increasingly clear that men are still falling off, one way or another.

Because I doubt it will be that way forever. A lot of older single actresses and celebrities have been shown to complain about their dating lives, and I have a feeling that it will soon shift as the women now get older, and are unable to lock down the partner they want. Men and women are on the same team in the long run, like it or not. For the short term, sure, men and women can sleep with whoever they want, but that isn't going to result in families or long term fulfillment, and the way curren…

Especially when young. Don't take this the wrong way, I am just curious, how old are you, and maybe who do you interact with? I am curious why your experience is different than mine, I am 23, and from literally all of the young men I see, with the exception of ... 1, i think ?, most men are very, very apprehensive about approaching women. But if she’s pretty she’ll probably have plenty of options to say yes. Yes, but I am speaking more specifically on the ones that complain that none of the opti…

If a woman is complaining about that, she’s already decided her social contacts are either unattractive, or she’s not going to make them cheaters I don't disagree. The next option to find a partner, for that woman, I would say, is to find another social circle with single men she is interested in. Most people in the workforce are in relationships and do not cheat Yeah I know, I only brought up the "not cheating" because other commenters have been trying to put words in my mouth for their own arg…

No, just that women aren't usually proactive at finding relationships, it's usually up to men to begin relationships, but with current social conditions men aren't as willing to approach nowadays.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/01/25 08:08 PM

Socially, exactly, because you have put yourself in that situation. One way or another, you have put yourself in a social circle of several good men, who you would date (not saying you would cheat or anything) if not already in a relationship. That is the advice I am giving for women who seem to have trouble finding a "good man".

I am not talking about myself here, I am speaking to general sentiments from men and women, or at the very least, specific groups of men and women. I understand that attractive women will have no shortage of suitors, but there are plenty of women, attractive and not, that complain all the time about how men are awful and their dating life is hard, while taking no incentive on their own to improve or increase their chances in the dating market. That is who my post was about.

/r/PurplePillDebate13/01/25 07:47 PM

This is also true, but there are a lot of women who complain that the guys who ask her out are scumbags or only want one thing, etc. This post was to address that issue specifically. Also, You know I once tried to go over and approach a guy, but on my way 4 other dudes introduced themselves and offered to dance or not me drinks! Bars are a rapidly on the decline to how most lasting relationships begin anyway, so I doubt that a lot of "good" men are really still going out to them.

I didn't even compare anything! I left it out intentionally because I don't have anything to say about it. That's what the disclaimer is for. And this unfortunate growing trend is turning a lot of woman off dating. Then this post isn't for you/them. This post was for women still interested in dating Also, woman are not struggling to meet men, that much is clear from the dating apps, their struggling young meet decent men Wow, you mean the entire point of my post? I mean, maybe, but I think at the very least if women start trying to approach men, it could also balance out which women go to which men. We don't really know until it's tried, at least.

Yes! I think we actually agree, but from differing perspectives. men and women meeting each other in social situations, building connection with each other, and each participating in slow escalations until a romance is formed I am saying that, as a woman, if dating isn't working for you, to increase these social situations, build more connections, etc. as it will massively improve your chances of meeting someone you want to go out with. This idea that it's either the man or the woman who is lite…

And that's fine, I am not saying that women have to be looking for a partner, nor should men never approach without getting permission. I was simply trying to call attention to a new social norm emerging, with men and women still wanting relationships, but with men being to scared or uncertain to make the first move.

I said "we", and I was just listing things affected by the dating market. Women aren't the sole makers of children, nor are they the sole reason for 80% of divorces. There's clearly more nuance to everything, I was, and still am, simply speaking in general terms for the sake of my post/suggestion

Just as a general disclaimer, I will be making some generalizations and some of the viewpoints may not be the truth, but how some things are perceived. I will do my best to call these out as I make them, but again, not all men, not all women, not all situations. Yes, women have their own problems dating. Violence, sexual violence, objectification, abuse, manipulation, etc. (Freedom's Choice sausage problems). I am not saying these are right, or less of an issue, or say that women shouldn't be co…

That is a statistical fact in the US, and I was offering a general take. Birth rates are very heavily influenced by marriage rates and dating market trends. What you're implying is that I am talking about politics because I said that gas prices is one of the reasons people don't want to buy cars anymore.

It’s more like men realized what they were pining for in high school probably just wasn’t the best choice for a serious relationship as an adult or in the long run. For example, I liked a girl on the softball team at my school, and she seemed to like me too, but of the 3 times I asked her out over like a year or so, she said no, which is fine, she’s allowed to say no. Now, looking back, it was pretty clear she was using me to help her cheat on tests and with group projects, and I was happy to do…

Well... I guess? IDK, I am not most people, but one of the main reasons I don't want to have a kid right now is because it would financially ruin me for the rest of my life, and that's kind of the hard part about dating for me. I am young, so I am not looking for someone with kids already or someone who is looking to start a family ASAP, nor people who are interested in casual relationships. All of those groups combined are like 85% of the market at my age. Making it easier to afford kids would …

I think it comes from the way that "Black" men are perceived in sexual relationships. Everyone like to joke that black guys have massive dicks (technically it's bigger on average by 2.5cm according to google, lol), but across porn, the black male actors are usually very muscular, rough, and with a goddamn cannon for a dick. Porn is obviously not accurately reflective of real life, but for pretty much all non-black men, porn is their only perception of black male sexuality. Because of this, black…

I am not a platonic friend, I am the romantic partner (hypothetically). IDGAF if I am the best friend she ever had (I mean I do, but not in this context) if it means that I am not someone she is attracted to in the slightest. I am not saying that she needs to be attracted more to me than anyone else she's ever met, but the attraction should be strong enough to support a healthy marriage over a lifetime.

I’d probably ask a girl or two out a week, I think I went out with maybe 10-15 over 6-7 or so years. Only got past the 3rd date with one and that relationship did not end well. It wasn’t hard, I just didn’t click with some of the women, for most there were other glaring red flags (multiple kids from multiple men at a very young age, rude to waitstaff, etc.) I mean I wasn’t spending every waking our outside of work on it, but maybe like a few hours a week I guess if you want like a time estimate.

I would rather be safe, but I would rather the woman I am interested in have the sense (and at least some degree of sexual attraction) to be interested in the safe choice (me). I don't want to be the second choice, or the fallback plan because the risky guy didn't work out. If a woman isn't smart enough to chose the safe guy (in your example) whole heartedly, then I don't think I need to date that person. I want to be the safe choice, and the first choice. That is the crux of where most men stan…

Probably not, but it kind of depends on exactly how into it she is. For example, if she's watching just whatever peaks her interest that day, then yeah, whatever, but if she specifically watching like, a lot of cuckold porn, to the point where I start becoming aware of it, then that might raise some warning bells. It's less about the porn rather than her becoming addicted to an idea or fantasy that I would not be comfortable with, which pretty much only involves multiple partners or pain. That's…

The stupid thing is, I have a house, at 23 years old, with very little financial help from my parents, but no girlfriend, and I've been trying for both. I went to school off a collection scholarship and grants, got a degree in a very well paying field, and rented a dirt cheap apartment in a bad part of town and lived off like, ramen and soup for 2 years to put a down payment down. I was RP for a while, and probably still hold some bias, so I'll do my explain why. High School was rough for me. I was relatively attractive, I would say a solid 6ish, 6.5 on a good day. I was/am 6ft, average looking face, was in great shape (was bordering on a 6 pack), played football and baseball, and had great grades. I was a little awkward, sure, like every other kid in high school, but I would confidently say that I had much more developed social skills that anyone else at that age (15-18)…

men who lack status or have status is threatened will use violence to assert it. Correction, men who haven't been taught how to healthily establish status will use violence to assert it. You don't see a majority of conservative men running around raping feminists in the streets to win arguments. You see primarily fatherless or abusive households producing men that have no idea how to safely express anger and frustration, and so they turn to violence. No. I didn't have many female friends, and of the ones I did, none were interested in me romantically. As for being "betrayed, duped, etc.", that's BS. If someone had that close of a connection to this woman that it's worth crying over, they were clearly good friends and he valued her more than a sexual object. A lot of the comments under that video and here are proof that men are very willing to work through their feelings to continue just a friendship. Does that sound like fake friendship for …

More like chance, but yes, you are correct, more or less. It is a numbers game, but right now the numbers in your favor are at an all time low. There are small things you can do marginally improve your numbers (haircut, clothes, personality, etc.), and larger things you can do that will make a big difference (money, status, etc.). Problem is, the larger the change it, the harder it is to make, and can take a long time.

Most likely 2, but that doesn't mean I want a disagreeable partner either. I want her to respect my opinion as I would respect hers. stands her ground, and won’t always go along with what you want. This makes me uneasy though, because it makes me think that she isn't going to make any sacrifices, or if she does, it'll only be on very small or nonconsequential things. That would bother me. Ehhh... yes and no. While it is true, that a lot of men going passport bro are likely not exactly 'winners' in today's society, society has no problem enforcing social norms on them. I have a cousin that routinely goes out of country for work, he deals a lot with foreign companies and/or shipping, and while he barely ever dates, he has had a couple flings in other countries, and most of the female friends he had cut him off for it. marry a woman who is willing to date down These exist in ridiculously low quantities. <image> If most women are outclassing most men (we'll say 60% of women), 10% get the college boys, and 15% end up dating down, that leaves 35% of women with nothing. That doesn't help anyone. Women or men. save as much money and become a passport bro. This has been looked on very badly by most of western society: 1 2 3 . It’s not so much overblown, but rather that it’s probably not to the same degree. I’m 23, and I see lots of similar situations to scenario 2 at my age (albeit without the abuse). I’d say probably 1 in 4 women I knew in high school/college fell victim to the below scenario. Woman in high school or college goes out with someone who is either clearly dangerous (street racing, recreational drug dealer, etc) or is clearly not going anywhere in life, no degree, very unsteady grades/employment. DNA/Paternatity tests also test for genetic traits and diseases, and in some countries (including the US in some scenarios) can establish father’s rights upon completion. When I was born, my father was deployed overseas with the navy. He was there within about 24 hours or so, but didn’t get the sign the birth certificate for a couple weeks. Obviously not, but again, the mere suggestion of one should probably not send you into a blind rage that makes you leave your husband/partner. My point is just that it should just be looked at as another optional medical blood test for peace of mind. I think public stigma needs to be removed from paternity tests. There is no logical reason to objecting to the basis of a paternity test. It is not a breach of trust, it is a form of medical documentation to establish a father’s rights. Unless it is accompanied by a an accusation or some other form of neglect, there really is no reason to assume bad intentions from the man. Personally I think both a maternity and paternity test should be done in order to ensure medical records are established an…

Again, backhanded compliment. Most men would prefer honesty instead of their feelings ‘saved’. It gives them the opportunity to learn and improve from their mistakes. I don’t fault the women for the effort, but I do fault them for using it as a cop out for a real rejection. It still hurts either way, putting a nice spin on it just confuses men.

Meanwhile a lot of the women I have met have openly admitted to owning toys, most of them having like 2-3 or more. And I'm a guy. Yes. I have seen 3 separate male coworkers in my career get borderline harassed by women in the office due to 'crushes'. One was married. HR, in any of the companies, never did anything other than send a very mild, company wide email due to one girl who had 'accidentally' walked into the men's restroom. IMO, the reason that it's never taken seriously from that angle is that it's very rarely a status quo sort of thing (most of the women were on the same level or under the guy they were crushing o…

It’s about using “movements” as a shield for individual choices without follow-through. You had me up until here, and you almost got there. Women who use this as a defense just want attention. It's not a shield, it's a way they can feign ignorance to get the attention without seeming completely like they're looking for it. Yes, that's why I said: I would prefer just having character customization in pretty much all games going forward So that everyone can make the character they want.

Usually it comes at the cost of character customization anyway, at least in the example she used, which was Fable. Usually the race/gender/sexuality of a protagonist is near negligible in most videogames nowadays anyway, so I would prefer just having character customization in pretty much all games going forward, or at least ones that don't require a very specific main character.

A few things: actual Fable fans confirmed the game has never been about having sexy characters <image> This is the same rating on all 3 of the original Fable game boxes. Sure it may not have been the main point (It wasn't for me), but it was definitely part of the game. Secondly, I think the point to the backlash of Fable 4 is more centered around that you can only play as the female character (or at least it's being marketed that way), and that the female character doesn't need to actually be f…

Though, I seen a lot of anti-woke guys just obsess over how ‘ugly’ Westerner female game characters are, as if their only reason to play a game is watch 3D tits bounce. Are you mad because of the backlash around the new Intergalactic game? Is that what this is about? Look, I get that the guys arguing for her to be hotter are annoying, I personally don't give a shit about the game, so any time it pops up on my feed, I roll my eyes. That being said, it is irritating when a game company/studio/fran…

I really don't care about Lily Phillips, I doubt most people do. Her stunt will probably have little to no effect on the general dating culture. What I do care about are people saying that the men are the ones that should be blamed (for what?) Lily Phillips in not able to consent, or that the men even watching it should be 'held accountable'. I am not for this, I personally think it's gross and was clearly just a spectacle for money. That being said, if all parties gave consent and it doesn't af…

good natured idiot Key word, you can be good natured, but don't be an idiot. It's very difficult to be bested by someone else's nature when you see it coming and it's much harder to be used as a doormat if you know what that looks like. Honestly I'd rather be good natured than rude or mean, as being 'bad natured' that might get you short term success, but nothing that will actually mean anything across your entire life. Nice people who just white knight and assume goodness is everyone are repuls…

I disagree it's a poor mindset, but honestly there is a small amount of optimism that someone can fulfill themselves personally without having to rely on someone else to make them happy. Personally, I think as a society need to stop with the "men bad/women bad" rhetoric in mainstream media and social media. The overwhelming majority of men are not evil rapists. The overwhelming majority of women are not heartless whores. It doesn't help anyone, and all it really does is turn people against each …

Quirk: a peculiar behavioral habit. Most people don't dye their hair lots of colors, which makes it a quirk. The difference between it being a quirk and a warning sign is the behavior of the individual, really.

Then that would fall into category one, where it's a personal quirk. Did you actually read my answer?

I agree with your age gap sentiment. To address your questions: Men do want fulfilling relationships, but the basis of red pill thinking is that a traditional, fulfilling relationships are no longer possible or near impossible, due mostly to societal factors mixed with how most women supposedly act in relationships in the modern day. They have 'accepted' that they will never get a traditional relationship and are now only after physical and light emotional gratification from women, and encourage…

ehh.. sort of. Really depends on the situation. I knew a girl that like to dye her hair for different occasions and occasionally cosplay. This is less of an issue, I found it kind of cute. She went pink for easter once, usually red and green for Christmas, orange once for Halloween, etc., it seemed kind of fun to me, it was like her thing. In this way it wasn't unattractive. I have also known women that do it because they want to be 'different', usually with a bob cut/sides of head shaved, and h…

I see a lot of RP men here say that they are entitled to leave their equivalently aged wives for younger women after the wife loses her beauty/fertility. I have never heard that. I have heard that men are allowed to leave their girlfriends if they let themselves go, but most of the red pill advice is not to get married in the first place. Marriage is a legally binding contract. Men are bound for life with that document, one way or another. I've also seen a lot of RP men say that it's reasonable …

My point was that if you find a life partner, aging doesn’t matter anymore. Even if you think love is just a collection of chemicals in your brain, love will usually trump aging looks.

Just to cheer you up a little (hopefully), that's only in a sexual sense, and even then its more for the type of guys you probably don't want to be associated with. As long as you look for guys around your age or slightly older, good men will treat you exactly the same at 30 like they did when you were 20. You are no less valuable as a person just because of age. It's literally just how much some random bachelor wants to have sex with you. Anyone that will truly love you later in life will see y…

When red-pillers talk about the wall, they're using it in reference to women that use their looks/body to jump between men and try and just get what they want from every guy. Then eventually when they grow old, and the only thing they ever developed was their looks, and those start to fade on all of us with age, then they are left with little to nothing. have her shit together This makes you not who they're talking about. You know what you want, and are willing to work for it. You aren't using y…

The problem is that real life used to reflect this sentiment, that if you log of the internet and just get out there, then you will have a good chance. Now, statistically things are getting worse and continuing to get worse. You hear divorce statistics thrown around all the time, false accusations, dating app stats, it's all horrible. I'm not saying it's women's or men's fault, honestly quite the opposite, I think it's a lot of media sites pushing a story for clicks and views, and government (al…

A at first, always. .... but it really is situational. Did he not get convicted because there is not enough proof? Or there is no proof? Or because he proved otherwise? Was he actually arrested? How was he known to the girl he allegedly molested? What about the person accusing him? Are there any other possible reason he could have been accused? I say this because one of my friends was accused of having possession of CP. Obviously that sounds horrible, and anyone who takes that at face value will…

Romantic - Near non-existent. Women around my age (23) are kind of all over the place right now, a lot aren't even interested in dating. I go on a date maybe once a month or two, but so far no one I gone out with has not had any giant, bright red flags. Haven't gotten past like the 3rd date in about 5 years. Can't really go younger, and while older women are ok, it seems, it just does not feel right at all. Maybe that one is just personal, idk. Familial - Good. Love my grandparents and aunts as …

It's not about lowering women's standards, its about getting a guy's foot in the door. How many times have you heard a woman say "I rejected him at first" or "he's not my usual type". My fyp on Tiktok (I'm 23 give me a break) is literally filled with women doing a trend with their boyfriends about how she rejected him at first or ghosted him before they eventually got together and the guy is a little salty about it. It happens, a lot. Those are the unrealistic standards, that's what we're talkin…

I would say men would probably lean a little more conservative on the scale because the extremes aren't really the same. I would say most men would be ok with a very quiet partner that likes to bake and cook and dress modestly (not all obviously, but most men probably aren't opposed), but I don't know how many men want like, a very ambitions woman that is willing to fight and protest for civil rights while wearing revealing clothing and so on (I'm sure plenty of men do, I just don't know what th…

There was like a 5-10 year period from like 2000ish to 2010ish when online dating wasn't so popular, but the newest generation had only experienced the sexual revolution and was in full swing, and meeting people in real life was still the best option. There were still issues, don't get me wrong, but in the grand scheme of thing, those were the golden years of dating, I think.

Was hopeful as a kid and from what my parents told me (blue) for about 3-4 years, went pretty red with the 2016 election for about 3 years, I wasn't associated with Donald Trump at all but was constantly attacked verbally/socially, in one instance physically, for merely being a guy, then black for abou…

No. From a biological perspective, we have an evolutionary trait to reproduce so that we don't die out as a species, but I think it is safe to say we are well past the point of that being a problem. From an ethical or moral point of view, it isn't necessary to have kids to be considered a good person by most standards, and if that bar was somehow raised to having kids, a lot of people that cannot physically have kids will be cut out, which is not moral or ethical. Personally, I think the birth r…

Here is a quick list. I would say about half are dumb and little things, and the other half were legitime reasons, some of which were like, borderline criminals. kind hearted, feminine, cooperative, in amazing shape Bingo. (Yes) IDGAF if she's lazy, I am too. Who cares if her room is messy, I don't live there. A lot of the 'well educated' women like to lord their education over me like it's anything more than a piece of paper. If she is cooperative, that means she is good in my book. That means she will cooperate with me to make our relationship better, whatever that means. I know the point of your post was "Men would you date an incel if it was a woman?…

Some do.... but most don't. Go search up 'female workout' on tik tok and tell me how many are doing it not in super tight or revealing clothing AND positions, have a 'link' in their bio (you know what I mean), or have attempted to expose another gym goer on their content. From my search results, 7 of the top 8 literally have their groin pointed at the camera in ridiculously tight clothing. The last one is topless from behind. You tell me what those women are going for. I have no doubt that there…

#MeToo wasn't bad per se, but the problem is that it was draped over everything instead of just targeting those who it applied to. For people like Bill Cosby and other people in Hollywood or in positions of power that took advantage of women, 100% agree, those people should be in prison for a loooong time. However, there are a lot of innocent people that got caught up in this somehow and have their reputations ruined because of it. I have witnessed it personally. I had a friend in high school (w…

For me personally, it hit me towards the ending of watching "La La Land" (Great movie, amazing music, highly recommend) like 5 or so years ago. In the movie, both main characters end up breaking their relationship and pursuing their own, personal dreams. One wanted to become and actress and the other wanted to own a Jazz bar. For me personally, my parents have both had somewhat wildly separate dreams in their lives. My father wanted to be a pilot for the US Navy, and my mother wanted to be a sci…
