0	[Career/Masters Advice Needed] Machiavelli would beg to differ with you! Ideally I want to work towards holding a position of status and power. Currently, there is no career development to this route simply working as an engineer. Five years from now I want to be able to look back and be happy with my choices, as they would have led me to a track of leadership and big money. 8	Programming will destroy your social skills I've never related to a post more in my life. I'm 22 fresh out of college and just started working as a software engineer. I attended a large school and over the years there did well with women and socializing, for the most part. 1	How I got here Those with husbands stayed with them for the last 20-25 years and have never been divorced. All the divorced girls have been so at least twice. 3	How I got here Ironic you mention this. This girl indeed spent most of her free time partying and sleeping with frat boys. What caught me off guard was that she was actually a STEM major. She was very honest and upfront with me about everything she had ever done showing little shame.
