On the flip side of that coin, it would prevent a noobie that gets successful once from spreading advice that he thinks is the best technique in the world. But you make a valid point. Maybe we should just rely on upvotes to give weight to advice and discussion.

I think these are great ideas. Perhaps we could get user tags (badges?) that represent our experience levels. It's similar to what they have over in /r/stopsmoking. Or like in /r/fitness where instead of time-based badges, they are general labels. /r/fitness has 'powerlifting' or 'bicycling'. We could have 'noob',' novice', 'PUA', etc

Running: During running, I would get pains in my neck and sides. Just stay hydrated and that should be gone in three days or so. After running I my throat would hurt from breathing heavy and I would cough a lot. That went away in about four days. Just stick with running for a week or two. When I started I ran every other day. I always feel like absolute shit after any and every attempt at exercise. I don't know if this is sarcasm or not. When I first started exercising I felt like shit. It sucked to run and my muscles were very sore. But I stuck with it and now it feels good to exercise. And it feels even better to be confident with my shirt off.
