How do you properly internalise RP ideals. Like i know "its just my turn" but i still feel like i want her to myself. Or i know were all going to die and nothing we do maters but i still blush sometimes when talking to girls in front of her mates. Or i know that i should live in the moment and be present, but i still keep looking to what's next.

Great post. To follow on a little bit, You have to set the example physically and mentally. So if you make excuses you shouldn't expect friends/coworkers/girls not to.

I'm not really a fan of this post, it as more of a (not so)humblebrag there were no lessons learned other than AWLT. I think next time go into the reasons why she spoke to you, a bit about what you said or even just mention AWALT. This sub should be about you helping others to improve using your experiences as examples , not just telling it how it is.

I can't remember which book it was, it was about psychology, and it said that following rules, habits or as you say discipline. Uses different parts of you brain than using willpower. It's not just a metaphor or style of thinking, discipline ACTUALLY makes doing things easier.

Fighting physique is aimed around fighting ability for weight. also endurance plays a large role, which isn't always achievable with "gains" as such

I dissagree, I have been practising marital arts for ~ 8 years (so maybe a little bit bias). But it has helped in several areas: Fitness. I don't go to gym, although I should, but I'm still far more toned than many of my friends. Respect and humility, you learn how being cocky and overly confident can be bad once your face goes purple and the submission is on. A sense of confidence when looking at all people that you know on the inside that you can beat 99% in a one on one fight. This also means…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
