Basically a disagreement between you and your wife would equal you neglecting your children and being a shit dad overall. All that just to make a point to your wife? I feel bad for your wife and children.

How is that fair and a good example for your children? Feels just petty to me. You have issues? Fine. You fight fine? Your wife does something wrong or you do, fine. Nothing that happens between you and your wife should affect how you take care of your children you are supposed to raise them together, which means equal effort from both of you.

What I meant is why should the children suffer because of your fights? No matter what issues you have in your relationship, whose fault it is etc, taking care of children should always be 50/50 effort.
