We're not close. We see each other around often but only talked few times. I think he is attractive to a certain point so it's not scary. I didn't get any bad gut feelings about this but then again, I don't know him well enough to be sure just yet.

Heh. I like the way you're thinking. I think he's just shy and not good socially. I mean hopefully he isn't a serial killer. He's been making a few excuses to get close to me but acts weird generally. What kind of a sign can I give him? A smile? A small chat? A compliment? I don't want to come off too strong either.

No I mean tell him you don't feel like you're contributing to the relationship and ask to take a break for a given time. Maybe you have your own stress and issues and you're just projecting? That's why I'm suggesting the break. You should at least try and fix your issues and give the relationship a second try before you give up on him. Well that's my opinion at least.

Hi dear. I see you've most likely lost interest in him. That's fine because it sometimes happens. Don't blame yourself or him! No one is at fault here. You've listed a few negative traits of his but honestly no one is perfect. They may be bothering you but if you really loved him, you'd have no problem accepting him the way he is. Connecting in a deeper level isn't all about talking. I just feel like you guys didn't have a strong enough chemistry. From what you've told here, I feel like you're p…

Yes I think so too. It just makes me uneasy. How am I going to get to know to him if he lies all the time? Sorry about your divorce but I feel like you did the right thing from what you've said. I can't even imagine the stress of being married to someone I don't trust.

I think the most important thing to do is pay attention to the way you talk. Don't swear, most guys find that veeery unattractive. Secondly the way you dress doesn't have to be feminine all the way but you can pick a few clothing pieces that are feminine and match them in with your usual style. Shoe choice matters a lot. Also make sure your clothes fit nicely. Too loose isn't an issue usually but too tight might look uncomfortable. Also accessories. Necklaces, bracelet and rings that are cute ca…

Also that one person who downvoted, why? I thought this sub was for discussion and advice. This is my first time posting here so if you can tell me why, I'd appreciate it! :)

I'm seventeen so some are kinda brave. I guess. I'm making effort but that one guy keeps telling about his drunk adventures and changing the subject whenever I try to get to know to him. I'm kinda interested in him but my friend says he isn't very trustworthy and I agree with that. Do you maybe know why he might be lying? Why he's trying to look like a bad boy? Also any tips on how I can show interest? I don't want to come off too strong but I do want this to go further than friendship. Also any…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
