They paid no fine. They only took a few hours of their day, probably willingly, to answer questions. You are assuming the men were treated unfairly, and they simply were not. You think being arrested is equal to punishment. It is not. It is a tool used to enforce laws. When they saw the whole story, then men were released. The guys weren't punished, were they? Read the article. Ideally, they should not have been arrested. But be realistic. Think about what the officers saw.
