Certainly not, which is why I thought it fair to mention his sexuality. The idea of having to freeze out the friendship of nearly the entire other half of our population has confused me seeing as I enjoy the friendship of that other half but I understand that his sexuality is likely what makes our friendship so easy. We have been friends since we were kids, long before he even considered the possibility of being gay, but that doesn’t change the fact that he always was. That aside, I’m currently …

They will say that they’re ok with only being friends but subconsciously and maybe even consciously still hope to be with you and it will likely cause issues with certain boundaries being crossed. I’m dealing with this same matter right now. Just had to cut off a budding friendship last night because the guy was too in my space and clearly didn’t accept the fact that I was not single, even after I asked him to verbally express that he was ok with being my friend. He wasn’t. And I found the lack …

I don’t have any issue with this kind of discussion. It doesn’t phase me or make me jealous. Past histories for me are exactly that, the past. And I enjoy learning about it.

Well since you have no interest in doing so, and seem to be going about it strategically, I don’t think you should. Personally, I ask this question to people I’m dating at the beginning of seeing each other because I’m legitimately curious. You don’t seem to possess that same curiosity so why ask a question that you don’t really care to have the answer to?

Yes definitely normal. I’m lucky because as a nanny I get to work closely with a baby. It’s super fulfilling. Maybe you could look into that.

Are you sure there’s no underlying conceit when you say these things? It might be helpful for you to consider what thoughts are going through your head when you say these things. Like maybe you might think you’re saying something normally, but if in the back of your mind, you’re thinking that whoever you’re responding to is incompetent, or maybe positioning yourself in a way of “I know you’re wrong but I’ll just go along anyway” you might not have as strong as a poker face as you think you do. J…

Laina Rauma. She designs and sells her own lingerie and does all her marketing through instagram. She has limited releases meaning once it’s sold, it’s sold, and she will likely do another big release of a different line a few months later. You can check out her stuff through her instagram (I think she was shadow banned recently) or her website

People who allows themselves to be walked on are the least respected individuals. There’s no reason to respect someone who doesn’t require it in a basic human interaction. A good person might not abuse that, but there are many dark triad individuals who dream of encountering someone who permits whatever so that they can be a vessel of their desires. It’s my belief that most people would desire some sort of autonomy in a dynamic like that. It’s counterintuitive to your survival and having your ow…

I’ve noticed a pattern of you commenting really unhealthy, abnormal behaviors and past experiences you have had on here, and somehow normalizing them. Most of them centering around coercion and you saying that you should’ve given in. I’ve also noticed most people not replying to this so I’m afraid that it’s somehow confirming in your mind that people forcing themselves on you is ok, and that you should just give in. It isn’t. No man who violates you is worth keeping around. No relationship where…

I’ve had saggy boobs as long as I’ve had boobs. And I’ve shed tons and tons of tears over them. But I’m a 32FF, so what can I do. The only thing that’s allowed me to push past them is just deciding to accept my body the way it was built. Most people have some sort of flaw. Stretch marks, some tummy, cellulite, whatever it is. I never put too much thought into other peoples’ physical “flaws” so it doesn’t make any sense for me to be so hypercritical of myself. I take comfort in knowing that not e…

Watch Maid on Netflix. That set me right. Watching a single mother making every dollar stretch the best she could made me more conscious of how wasteful I am with my money. You made the budget but can’t follow through because you don’t really have to. Imagine if resources were scarce. You would have no other choice.

That’s like the most crucial time to be at home. Newborn to 5 years. If you can’t afford to stay at home then even newborn to 1 year old is better then 2 years after baby’s born. It doesn’t sound like he’s on the same page as you, unless you’re ok with that. Also what makes him think that things will be financially different for you two 1-2 years after having kids vs waiting until you guys are in a financially solid space? Edit: Just realized I made a mistake in interpreting the timeline. But if…

Red pill women is for women who go about dating and relationships in a more traditional manner. I wouldn’t call it anti-feminist as I am a feminist and agree with a lot of the information in this sub. Most RPW can agree that having a traditional relationship where a man takes on a role where he provides financially to take care of the home space, and a woman contributes her nurturing abilities (home making + childcare) to take care of the home space, aligns best with how they would like to form …

That’s frustrating. Especially because they have no clue what RPW is. Incels are exactly the kind of men we’re trying to avoid lmao.

I’m banned from there as well but have no clue why. I don’t recall ever posting in the group. I’ve messaged them a few times about it but never receive a response. Maybe it’s because I’m a part of this group

Maybe therapy and communicating it to him in that format? I’m not married, but communicating what I needed to people directly is the only way I ever get it. And I mean doing this without shaming him. Let him know that you’re feeling some exhaustion from his passivity, and he has the power to alleviate some of it by him taking his fair share of responsibility. You’re not going to get a masculine man out of it, you married a feminine man. But if your partner is receptive to communication, you migh…

Love this. Definitely needed this message. It’s always important to take time and clear the clutter. Everything that’s out of place will surely sap your energy. Energy that can be invested in priorities.

I have an anxious attachment style as well. Something that soothes me is reminding myself that at such an early stage in the dating process, you’re only just getting to know each other. Any strong attachment to this person at this point is likely unstable, and you have to remind yourself that you’re in the discovery part of the relationship. Any desire to possess this person stems from an insecure part of yourself and you have to keep that part of you in check until you’ve fully determined that …

Have you considered that regardless of goals, that maybe they weren’t actually meant to be married? If marriage is supposed to be forever, and your relationship dissolves after a few years, that means that the only glue holding your relationship together would be a piece of paper otherwise. Also I’m curious, do you know if your friends communicated their intentions in the relationship before moving in together? To be married, have kids etc.?

What if you end up living together and then can’t stand each other.

I understand what you’re trying to get at but I feel like waiting to live with someone before marriage is kinda like waiting until marriage to have sex. You won’t know how you feel about it until you experience it. There’s a lot that you can’t know about someone until you live with them. And aside from knowing them on a deeper level you can’t possibly know their real habits. It doesn’t make much sense to me to unite yourself to someone for the rest of your life until you can fully learn the good…

You’re putting too much value into a person who doesn’t value you. Don’t base your self esteem on anything external love. And always remember, even Beyoncé has been broken up with.

I have anxious attachment too. Don’t message him. If he’s unable to message you yesterday for whatever reason, and unable to message you today for whatever reason, that 4th text won’t suddenly make him available now (whether it is because he just really can’t or if it’s by choice).

Why do you know that he has a ring? Did he tell you that he got a ring before proposing to you?

This is something that I feel like comes out naturally. When you’re pacing around in your room thinking about when the right moment is, you’re not ready. Let that door open up naturally, and don’t put too much forethought into it.

I get that. As a 5ft tall woman I’ve always seen my shortness as an advantage based on the reactions I get from men. But I suppose there are other women who are more conscious about beauty standards and where they meet them, and where they fall short.

The reason why those women are tall is because essentially they are live clothing racks. It doesn’t have anything to do with tall women being the status quo of beauty.
