Great to hear it's helped man, I think both of those substances are excellent in moderation. I'd call that a pretty shitty therapist. There has been a lot of research coming out concerning the affect of psychedlics on depression and anxiety. Even more anecdotal evidence on how it helps reimagine life or become more comfortable with one's self.

I just smoke weed and the thoughts simply form. Believe it or not, I prefer solitude. I don't like discussing problems with others as it has never led to a solution in my experience, particularly with the intangible issues in life. It's great it worked for you and I may be uninformed, but that's simply my opinion.

Monk mode is better than any therapy. What the hell is therapy anyways? They don't actually help with problems, especially not dating, they just are someone you pay to vent to. I've figured out many issues through self reflection, no therapist needed.

Well said. No one's ever put it like that before, but you're 100% right. They set the rules, but the Alpha ignore them while the Betas view them as absolute. Explains a lot of the soyboy redditor bs you read on popular subs. They view their rules and take their opinions as absolute

Same here, that's the part I focus on because I grew up like that. Bouncing home to home. All good points, but your military friends were probably approached because they were white foreigners. Also I don't think women are that desperate there. They have a large emphasis on status in their society, and women wouldn't seriously date men they couldn't brag about to their parents.

A couple years ago he was obsessed with this druggie chick. He went as far as to house her when her parents kicked her out as well as giving her money for her phone bill. Love it dude. I grew up pretty broke and learned to be frugal very early in my life to the point where it's engrained in me. Some people can never understand that looking "broke" but being financially secure is infinitely better than being materialistic for the sake of other people. I see your point, but I know a guy like OP's friends. Super nice guy, would probably give you the shirt off his back if you asked, but also the biggest simp I've ever known. And I told him that. You're a bit underweight for your height. I was in the same boat as you before (still am really). Supplementary protein shakes are a great start. Counting calories is a must do, every day make sure you're going above your number. As you gain strength you'll start doing harder workouts, and your body should naturally be desiring more food so that aspect will get easier with time. Staple gaining food is peanut butter (a PB sandwich has 300-400 calories), oatmeal, shakes, and eggs. Good luck to you…
