They should give this guy the Darwin Award. By any chance is he color blind? How could you miss those bright red flags she was waving when she said she had multiple baby fathers.

I hope you are joking, potential brother.

I agree with everything you said, the difference is that i personally wouldn’t stoop to their level. Let’s be honest. There are no unicorns. As a man, you are supposed to make the woman great while also maintaining high attraction. What reasonable man can put up with this burden of performance so long before you quickly realize the juice isn’t worth the squeeze. I think your mindset, in which when dating, you have nothing to lose is correct. And I do advocate for a game where the man makes his a…

It is a game. I agree. And it sounds like you know hidden interests of each party. The problem is if you do this to girls who have good intentions, you leave an alpha imprint on her, she will never be able to treat her future partner who wants the same thing as the best option. I personally wouldn’t do it. You don’t have to be transparent about your intentions. But if you do some narcissistic stuff like “future faking” and outright lying to them, that is highly unethical.

I’m as red pilled as they come, but this something unethical I can’t get behind. Girls have smaller windows to produce children and string a girl along just dangling the carrot of commitment in front of them makes you no better than the girls who play games with guys for attention. Let’s be better than that.

Not to be that guy, but unless you think the Bible is allegorical or you take the commands as merely suggestions, you shouldn’t seek to remarry. You should either seek reconciliation with your ex wife or find another purpose than trying to make a woman the center of your life and create another idol for your heart. Speaking secularly, i couldn’t think of a dumber thing to do than find a “new wife”. Did you not learn from your first lesson? Make self-improvement your mission and you will see all …

Please be aware that Reddit is extremely left leaning platform, and that they use their illogical brains and effeminate emotions and try to pass them off as facts.

100% No women who was madly in love and wantonly attracted to their husbands would leave them bc of this. I’m conservative through and through and I’ve hooked up with girls like this who said they could feel the feminism leaving their bodies. Unfortunately marriage beta-fys a man and you get yourself in ultimatums like this.

It’s just experience and having a cerebral type nature which helps me deconstruct things down to its foundations. I also consider myself high in truth-preference and I believe a top skill is being able to make your maps of reality as close to accurate as possible.

It sounds like your anxiety is tied to your outcome-dependent mentality. Perhaps a rejection from a girl is taken as an affront to your ego. It would serve you well to change the paradigm which you view relationships/dating. I don’t care what anybody says. There is definitely an inverse relationship between how much you try and how much genuine desire you elicit. You have to get into the mindset that you are not afraid to lose her or anything in this world bc you are the center of your life and …

Bruh. It’s wild to me that you still believe in love at this point. I’m most likely half your age or younger, and it’s pretty plain to see that relationships are highly transactional. That’s not even necessarily a bad thing though. It’s just that it’s such a losing bet to get married, I think a lot of guys my age look down at simps who have girlfriends and who are married. Unless they are doing it with the motive of starting a family. You might lean slightly more effeminate and need emotional su…

But I think it should a cost-benefit analysis would show that the juice is not worth the squeeze. Also wouldn’t be looking for a “partner”. I would be looking for a wife. I don’t know if I did something to offend you but I would only recommend marriage in 2024 to people I don’t like.

I’ve never married and still young but doesn’t it make sense to select someone who has compatible values? This seems like a lot of this could have been avoided if you realized you were making too many compromises on important issues. The only reason why I would enter such a union is if I was living my life on auto-pilot

I’m a young unmarried person, and given what I had seen in college and the behavior of most, I’m probably checking out of the dating scene early. It feels like the only logical reason to get married is to create a family. Which although that’s a challenge I would mind taking up, it’s just not an acceptable risk to deal with the consequences if something goes south. Plus there is so much brainrot when it comes to social media. I don’t care how crazy it gets, I don’t like how it’s normalized for p…

I still think you overrating your intelligence, but if it matters to you, you can keep telling yourself that. I have multiple advanced STEM degrees and work in a rigorous discipline also that requires extreme accuracy. I got great marks also, but i know it was a product of hard work. And my IQ is probably around 105. The best skill you can have is being high in truth preference, meaning that you need to build accurate mental maps of reality.

I can’t judge whether there is a genuine conversion, but there is a big emphasis on surrendering. Which is the idea that everything you thought was right before and led you astray, you have to give that up and renew your mind. Just going through the motions isn’t going to work. There’s no way around this. This situation sucks. That’s why if you come back from it, it would be nothing short of a miracle and maybe that’s why you need to rely on divine intervention.

It’s important for you to develop an accurate map of reality and develop a deep desire for clarity and truth. You can do this by creating a goal for yourself to be the best version who can see clearly and make optimal decisions. This means also that you need to stop relying on yourself to make good decisions, especially if you had no guidance before. That’s like trying to hit a bullseye with your eyes closed in the dark. Literally the margin of error is great when that target to a better and imp…

Your parents seemed like they lacked wisdom. Please don’t follow in their footsteps. Use this opportunity of self-reflection to make yourself identify the patterns of that led to your development and reverse the trend for your the future of your children. The few previous generations before us were so backwards and only cared about themselves and what they could do to improve their future. They don’t think about the future and lacked the foresight to be able to strengthen the subsequent generati…

Although I have sympathy for your situation bc of your current emotional state, I can’t help but wonder why someone would get married if they didn’t want to have kids. Also, what delusional person could love someone, then desire more women, and think the same thing won’t happen again when the cycle reoccurs. Mistakes were made and it seems like you are at least taking accountability at this point. But if you don’t get your mind right and prioritize what really matters and is important, nothing w…

It shouldn’t shock men that the amount of simps who will upvote this post will be high. Men who are capable of critically thinking: Use your brain. How could someone who divorced 2 men feel any kind of compassion for the plights of zeroed-out divorced men unless it lands her some brownie points with her current boyfriend? The truth is woman cannot put herself in a man shoes and genuinely feel the same problems that men face. This is against their solipsism. I don’t know what OP’s motivation is, …

The amount of simps who will upvote this post thinking this person is genuine should not shock people who really know. How can you believe someone who got divorced twice and is now continuing the pattern for a third time? Let me guess, OP was the victim and didn’t do anything wrong. No her feelings changed and only a matter of time before it happens again. Often these types of posts are trying to get approval by others to force some kind of unnatural self-belief that the care. Men, people like O…

I’m frustrated with the amount of men who keep falling into the same trap and didn’t learn, so that’s the reason for my tone. Your original post made it very much seem like you were a try to get over your ex by going through many women until the memories fade. Doing that is like trying to overwrite a previously saved game, that fundamental issue of trying to chase female validation will always be there but it will be buried under more problems. Also your Safire quote was weird and of place. I su…
/r/Divorce_Men22/10/24 12:00 AM

Your post sounds sincere and it seems you have overcome obstacles that should give you a sense of pride for doing the right thing for your kids. However, you unwittingly revealed some things about your mindset, which if you don’t correct, will increase the likelihood you fall into the same cycle as the last time. First off, i have qualms about you thinking that it’s some kind of win to be dating or hooking up with 6 women at the same time as your original post said. In fact this is very low valu…
/r/Divorce_Men21/10/24 10:17 PM

Although I commend you for improving your health, it doesn’t very much seemed like you evolved. It seems like you found a way to distract yourself from the heart of the issue which is your dependence on female validation. I’m quite considerably young than you and went down the rabbit hole of TRP. There is valuable information, no doubt. But it was strictly a toolbox for me to diagnose the problems of society and see the challenges that men face. Had you not mentioned your age, I would have guess…

If you get anything out of my replies, get this: facts don’t care about feelings. There is an observable and repeatable pattern of behavior with men who once had an attachment to a person who they thought could do no wrong and then had the wool pulled over their eyes and then desperately clung onto this flimsy idea of hope of finding happiness in another woman. You very much seem like you live through your feelings and might be more of a romantic, which unfortunately gets punished by the pragmat…
/r/Divorce_Men19/10/24 04:21 PM

See I get that and I would believe you if you… if you didn’t dedicate your largest paragraph talking about it and if you weren’t already smitten after a month since your first date. In my experience, if someone actually gets over someone, they don’t talk about it and run to Reddit to write a cathartic piece that sounds a lot like trying to force a self-fulfilling prophecy about how things get better.
/r/Divorce_Men19/10/24 08:07 AM

TL;DR: Things get better because I found another person who can be the a similar source of happiness to replace my ex wife.
/r/Divorce_Men19/10/24 02:50 AM

Sure you did buddy. I guess your therapy worked so well it led back here thinking about your ex still.

0 chance you have a rotation. Why give advice if you are not living it?
/r/Divorce_Men17/10/24 10:46 PM

I usually leave negative comments, but I’m going to depart from my usual and tell you this was really beautifully well written. I’ve never been married but this post eloquently describes what I feel most romantic relationships turn into.

It’s not bipolar. This is just their human nature.
/r/Divorce_Men17/10/24 10:41 PM

I feel like people need to stop saying this borderline disorder like it was just some unique ill-fated bad gamble. If this were the case, a huge amount of them would be borderline.
/r/Divorce_Men17/10/24 10:40 PM

If you are going to make statements like that in a confidently incorrect way, at least be accurate my man. The best predictor of divorce is a high body count; second is parents divorcing and no father in her life; third is when she surpasses her husbands earning potential.

Bro if you are going to pretend like you are the authority on giving good advice; at least have some common sense. If she is a homebody with few hobbies, you are her hobby and her life. And we all know how that ends. It’s important for her to have a good network of girlfriends who have good character. The best situations I’ve seen were when the man took the lead and organized their social lives. This means you have to take charge and find good networks; whether that is in church, a bowling leagu…

I am a young guy who visits this subreddit to remind myself about what my dad and gpops went through. It’s sad to say, but I think we live in a post-marriage era. Men and women don’t need each other as much as they did just even a decade ago. Men use porn and video games as proxies for sex and career growth pursuit. And women make their own money now and are even surpassing men in the corporate world. If they want love, they can get a dog or literally hop on tinder and get whatever they want bc …
