| – | Canadian female serial killer sentenced to 8.5 years -- don't worry, the victims were only babies, not womenAs I said maximum was 12 years (6 times 2 back to back). If so, this doesn't show female privilege at all. | /r/MensRights | 15/07/17 02:54 PM |
| – | Canadian female serial killer sentenced to 8.5 years -- don't worry, the victims were only babies, not womenThe BBC reports that the maximum sentence allowable was 12 years. I believe they couldn't prove murder although it was argued the chance of all being stillborn was exceptionally low. | /r/MensRights | 15/07/17 09:07 AM |
| 1 | Canadian female serial killer sentenced to 8.5 years -- don't worry, the victims were only babies, not womenA study in Britain determined that if men were treated like women in their criminal justice system, 5 out of 6 male prisoners would be free. | 3 | Cosmopolitan is blatantly sexist and terrible. Imagine a young pushed his girlfriend to suicide, imagine their reaction. They should be held in contempt of court for this. No they shouldn't. I agree with the court decision but seriously, free speech. Where would we be without the ability to disagree with court decisions? | /r/MensRights | 21/06/17 11:32 AM |
| – | Supreme Court Bars Favoring Mothers Over Fathers in Citizenship CaseHave you seen The Red Pill movie? I'd say that provides many examples of feminism not simply being about equality. You seem interested in hearing the MRM's positions, which is really refreshing, and it comes from a very humanist perspective. I think it might change some of your beliefs. Let me give you a counter example from here in the UK. Feminists have repeatedly dragged their feet over the pension age being equalised between men and women. Currently women get a pension earlier than men. | /r/MensRights | 13/06/17 07:43 AM |
| 2 | Supreme Court Bars Favoring Mothers Over Fathers in Citizenship CaseNot sure why this is being downvoted! On the face of it it seems like fair criticism. Jess, by her reply to my other comment, seems quite willing to consider this empirically. As for Ruth Ginsburg, is what she said wrong and if it is why does it merit downvotes rather than correction? People come into this subreddit with scepticism which is fair. She clearly agrees with equality for men (at least in this case) and yet the responses are so adversarial. | /r/MensRights | 12/06/17 10:59 PM |
| – | Supreme Court Bars Favoring Mothers Over Fathers in Citizenship CaseFrom what I can tell all posts currently on the front page are older. You may be right though -- the MRM isn't free of outrage culture. Let's see how many votes it has in 24 hours? | /r/MensRights | 12/06/17 09:55 PM |
