And I said that she apparently loves her friends more than me, she said that it isn't true, but it came out like that My sides. it came out like that Fast forward 3 years. It just happened. I hope this guy seizes the opportunity here... Really...

SAD UPDATE From the thread... I cannot believe what I am reading. So sad. Update3: A girlfriend of hers called me and said she wanted to be surprised in front of her friends. Apparently a few friends of her got a proposal akin to that... And my gf wanted the same.... And no she didn't mention it once that she wanted one like that, and she knows i am more a romantic guy that likes to be alone with her because of intimacy... She said it wasn't a proposal she dreamt of and that I don't respect her …

Should we send him a link to TRP ? I know we're not supposed to... I am not even sure it would be useful at this point (it may be too soon). What do you think ?

Went through Op's history. He's from Belgium with Turkish background - it does not mean his gf is not American, but it's more probable she's Belgian as well. Sadly Western European culture is pretty much the same as American culture.

OK can you please explain what makes you be "in love" with her? I need to understand what is being in love with a woman when you have a RP mindset such as yours

We need some LTR RP advice on our comprehension of "love" as in feeling, not as mastering the relationship, for which we have already a lot of material in here

the ideal relationship is where the woman loves the man, and the man likes the woman I think for me I need to sort of admire the woman in order to be 'in love' however TRP makes me despise them and if the best relationship as quoted is one where you don't love (don't admire) then I will never reach that first high again ? Reading you I feel like a junkie, chasing that dragon...

Understood... When I interview older people, couples that held, they confirm, without a doubt, they love (as in "magical feeling") each other (trustful people, talking not in front of one another). Same with a bunch of friends. It just feels TRP is ruining it for me... Is it possible ?

Yeah so you're like me : the sentimental love you were able to develop for someone long ago is just gone, and now it's only through the eyes of TRP that you can qualify a girl as "loveable" : upgrading her to an LTR. Damn I miss those feelz

Taking risks at work to sign in and say Fuck You, your post is great. Thanks for sharing. The truth comes out of your mouth. If may let me simply add : - Any man looking for a woman to validate his life is wrong. In order to make your love last and your relationship to remain solid, you must keep in mind you are the center of your life. However you WILL make her need a priority (not HER becomes your priority but the efforts you can invest into the relationship/kids must become a priority in your…
