It doesn't have to be gender based even. A 5'3 dude would have a tough time fighting a 6'5 dude.

Then you're a famous comedienne.

Fair point, but the result is the same. Click-bait generates this artificially attractive image that conditions the reader. Compared to this article about an Avon Park teacher where the image is the mugshot after arrest.

Not only that, but the photo looks like it was touched up. So the first thing anyone sees is a very good looking woman in a skimpy bikini bottoms and t-shirt. It sets the stage for "NIIICEE" type responses and helps continue the problem. We never see a male predator with his hair blown out and looking amazing.

As it was pointed out in a different thread, (and is worth repeating) why the full length photo in the Post? They almost should include the South Park "Nice" along with it.

Maybe some "tut-tut" noises as well.

If they say yes, then the argument holds. If they say no, well then... Personally, I think 14-18 poses a real legal dilemma. Four years apart is almost what I am to my wife, if we were 20 years younger, I'd be a sex offender. As to the babysitting bit, any position of power creates an unequal relationship like a teacher/student or boss/employee and is wrong. If it were only one boy, I'd be interested to see which came first, the sitting relationship or the romantic. Since it was more than one bo…

Actually, some Google-Fu shows that she is attractive with one photo of her holding a fifth of vodka for a party. It really sets off the entitlement mindset well. "I'm a hot, (guessing upper middle class), womyn who gets white girl wasted, and goes out looking for a good time on Tinder. But I'm the victim!"

What's even more, those male cases you linked paint the man to be a monster with victim quotes and emphasis on the trauma it causes. In most of the female stories, there is no discussion on what that victim felt, going so far as to say the man enjoyed it and things were only discovered when he gloated.

Is it just because I'm becoming more aware of the issue or are there more cases of female teachers raping students? Or are they being more reported lately? If it's a spike in cases, why? What makes these women (who are attractive, I haven't seen one that wasn't) feel the need to prey on their students?

Sorry, I was going for "obvious that bad things are bad" humor. The pamphlet is worthless drivel, but cheers to your new baby.

Thanks for sharing that OP, I was just about to sulkily smash a bunch of things on the way to seducing my wife's sister. But because of this pamphlet, I'll leave off.

I put rape at the top because it is a sadistic torture. It is ongoing. Murder is an out; yes, it will hurt and is horrible but there is release at the end. Rape and those who actually torture people by locking them up in a basement or constantly abuse others is permanent, debilitating and calculated to ruin a human being with no escape.

I think that is the point of the rape victim mythos. Feminists require a zero fault state for the female victim, regardless of their choices. It is an ideological rift that prevents resolution of the rape problem; the most horrible crime a person can commit.

I wouldn't mind it if she were selling it on the side if she'd tell me. Because then I could wear one of those big hats with a feather in it and carry a cane.

Is it wrong that I found the most disturbing part of this article to be the sentence, "Authorities are investigating the possible existence of photographs or video of the suspected group sex"? I wonder if there'd be CP charges brought as well.

I think DarkLightAngel has a valid point, if it goes both ways. This relationship seems like both sides were actively involved. I'd say it's not rape, if we can stop calling a similar situation with genders reversed rape. I think we coddle young people too much. Younger than 13, sure they might not understand. But 15 year olds? No way. In one more year we let them drive and three more years they have full rights. So how can we say a 15 year old doesn't understand sex?

Ok, so I hate to be that guy but... I wonder how many more times she could have gotten away with this behavior if she was even mildly attractive. How many more times could a stunner pull off this level of crazy before someone called her out for it?

I think that's almost as big of an issue as the double standard. The law says 16 (or 18, or whatever) but we don't treat young adults as capable decision makers until they're 22-25 years old. We have this culture of protecting "children" so that if a male teacher had a relationship with a 16-18 year old student, it's rape and horrid. But that same 16-18 year old student can: drive at 16, vote at 18 and serve in the military. Why then do we treat them as "minors" in sexual relationships? If it wa…

Personally, I think it's more how you handle the illness. If I'm sick, I'm aggressively trying to get better by drinking fluids and sleeping. Sure, I'm out for a day or two, but I don't have this lingering malaise that I've seen far too often when people "tough it out." Good on you for making everyone else miserable because you don't want to seem weak by getting healthy.

Truth. Also P.P.S., don't use humor. Even if you're an award winning comic, don't do it. Telling jokes is dangerous here as these ham planets can and will misconstrue anything you say. The hopeful bit is that these land whales didn't start out jaded, hateful people who consume Oreos as whales consume krill. This is a learned behavior. So when trying to be friendly, just think that these misguided creatures once thought they were trying to do good. Maybe that will help keep you from strangling th…

It might. Definitely a grey area right now, esp. since OP was arrested. The cops had the right to take the phone, jurisdictions are debating legality of the right to search it. But, those pictures are legal, if humiliating, so no harm there. OP: feel for you man. Social services act as the new gestapo.

Downvote for the same. This kind of title is sensationalism and doesn't help the cause.

It's obvious that a better method is needed. I have tried suggesting that the SRS set up trust funds for the child. One trust for each child. Then either or both parents pay into this trust. The parents' only access of the money is by presenting a receipt to the SRS office for reimbursment. Excess money in the trust becomes the child's upon their 18th birthday.

I was going to mention that. And writing your name in the snow. :) But really I like that I can improvise a solution on the fly, MacGyver style.

Or dying on a giant pile of money. But don't obsess over maybe's or what you read on the internet, or you'll miss out on some neat things in life. That said, don't be stupid, use protection, etc. etc. ad nauseam.
