I think a lot of people tie their attraction to what they believe others will approve of. A man that’s personally happy with fucking chubby women won’t do so out of vanity, or he will and then hide it.

That’s actually a decent scale.

As the partner of a hot girl. I’m painfully aware of this. Unfortunately these guys have no fucking clue because they don’t believe anything they don’t directly witness themselves unless they already agree with it.

Maintaining a certain bodyfat percentage and clear skin can be considered an “enhancement” but let’s not downplay the role of self-grooming. That shit adds a lot to overall attractiveness.

Baby only happens if woman agrees to have sex. Agreed to take baby to term. Agrees to raise the baby. Or is forced to. There’s no “value” without the concious participation of the women. That prevents it from being “inherent” the same way men’s value isn’t “inherent” and requires his concious participation. But I’m guessing a poor understanding of how reproduction works is what led you to make this very very very basic mistake. Sex education is lacking in so many places.

I’m not confused. You are. You are trying to apply an unrelated concept to dating dynamics. Then pretending as if they absolutely fit and they are the only consideration. It comes from a need to oversimplify complex concepts. It’s basic thinking in order to win arguments.

How can I have a good rebuttle to a retarded premise?

It’s not. It’s the opposite. I see it for the very hollow post-rationalisation bad argument it is.

Why tf are you talking in terms of capitalism? Who told you to do that? Noone. But maybe you chose to “view it in capitalism terms” because the argument is literally STUPID in every other sense. Smh.

We should have more requirements because it’s beneficial for us and the families we create. What a stupid fucking question. There’s no grey matter in your penis. Stop using it for critical thinking.

To the species Fuck outta here. These dating discussions aren’t about “the species” noone makes individual decisions based on “the species” and using a macro “species” talking point is just a weird sidestep to try and make a dumb point. RMV and SMV isn’t about decisions made to further the fucking “species”. Actually engage your brain, SMV and RMV is decided by a collection of individual demands for what men and women want for themselves. Fucking “species”. Some dumb shit.

Your entire argument is weak AF. You basically redefined “quality man” to fit your strawman bullshit.

For the love of God, watch a couple of beauty enhancement videos or check out a few subs. There’s SO MUCH SHIT women do to become attractive and then also stay attractive that is lost on basement dwellers.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/10/22 07:44 AM

Personally I’d frame it as young women are inherently more valuable than men in general at any age, by virtue of their reproductive system. Valuable to who? Men aren’t lining up to fuck ugly chicks thinking “she can be the mother of my children” This “inherent value” argument is flawed AF.

I think many men in the US find them more attractive because of the same reason they say Eastern European women are more attractive - lower obesity rates - that’s it. You projecting your own subjective feelings is a dumb counterpoint.

Rating SMV by only looks is not how it’s supposed to be rated lol. You don’t understand SMV if you think “perceived easiness” isn’t an included metric.

Because many of the shy little bitch boys who never tried irl because they are too scared are on there. Plus the men who aren’t shy little bitch boys are also on there. Combined, that makes it a whole lotta men.

No one hired her because that is not an actual job. Dumb take. It is a real job. Just unlikely to be a legit one. What’s likely is that the dating app company hires a marketing firm to promote their app. The marketing firm (who has made promises to help them reach a certain target) likely uses shady tactics in order to get there. Dating app company doesn’t ask too many questions, random women get hired by marketing firm. This shit happens all the time.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/10/22 07:12 AM

No it’s just a weak counterpoint when “overwhelmingly” isn’t the same as “all”. But yeah go ahead, bring up random irrelevant shit if it makes you feel better. “But, but there are rich women too!!” lol what low IQ bullshit.

Benevolent Sexism is an old concept that describes parts of patriarchal thought.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/10/22 02:34 AM
2

What you call gynocentrism is patriarchal thought. Maybe you’re brand new to this planet and believe all this unfairness to men came from feminist thought. Patriarchy doesn’t mean “only all men benefit always”. It includes several L’s for us too. Do me a favour hop on Wikipedia and actually read some schools of thought about the patriarchy don’t realy on idiots from social media to give an accurate representation (including me).
/r/PurplePillDebate10/10/22 02:33 AM
1

The leaders of modern government and halls of power is overwhelmingly male that is enough to still call it patriarchy. You also conflated 2 definitions together. One definition fits what we have in the west today while the other does not. It’s okay to say society is “less patriarchal”. Doesn’t mean it’s completely gone.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/10/22 02:30 AM

That whole sentence is bullshit. Like coming from a kid that thinks love is how all the movies depict it.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/10/22 02:22 AM

Precisely. Which is why me wanting a woman with breasts while I don’t have my own isn’t hypocritical, while wanting someone with a 0 bodycount while mine is 10 can be hypocritical. Basic stuff and I suspect most people arguing for double standards are aware of this.

I was skeptical about turning prisons into luxury living for murders, rapists and pedos This type of thinking is what prevents most prisons from reforming, despite the fact that a shitload of inmates don’t even fall into those categories. People have emotional investment in wanting to see “punishment” without even knowing the facts. People are dumb.

Unexperienced virgin men struggle to wrap their head around the concept of “unenjoyable sex” or “uncomfortable sex”. Sex has been sold to us as something that’s objectively positive and amazing every time. It’s really hard to mentally divorce yourself from that programming.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/10/22 04:52 AM

A woman loves the man you became through of all of the blood, sweat and tears. Not the human you are intrinsically the way your mom or sister will. Men don’t love intrinsically either, but they don’t wait for women at the finish line. This is vague nonsense. You didn’t actually explain what’s different about men. “But they don’t wait for women at the finish line” wtf does that even mean? All I hear on this thread is women complaining about men wanting sex. The top comment of this thread… • Create more sustainable economic opportunities for people who don’t go to college; make having a degree far less necessary to sustain a middle class lifestyle, which will cause tuition costs to plummet for those who do attend college for very specialized careers due to decreased demand • Improve the k-12 education system and implement schools and programs that specifically focus on boys, espec…

Narcissism is really hard to combat fucking hell. Okay. The OP, was about MEN, as a group. MEN. The replies were about helping MEN, as a group. Your replies made the discussion specifically about YOU. All you are doing is inserting yourself into everything to make yourself the topic of the debate.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/10/22 05:05 PM
3

If you pay more for a service that a cheaper tax rate would cover, are you saving money?
/r/PurplePillDebate05/10/22 05:02 PM
3

YES. you need effective therapy for exactly that. Maybe YOUR therapist needs to tell YOU that you can never get women. That would be INDIVIDUAL advice. Not generalised messaging for every other man struggling. You are not every man. Men are not a monolith.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/10/22 04:59 PM
5

So it’s not about “men” it’s about “you”? Ffs get some fucking therapy. EDIT: which is ironically part of the list “healthcare” would cover the therapy men like you need.

That would be teaching men a possible lie.

It distinguishes between childless and child-having individuals Where? Can you quote the specific part? Maybe I missed it. But rationally, it’s more likely that the only reason this study doesn’t reflect more sex for childless couples is because it only polled individuals, not couples. Aahhh gotcha

Ah, yes, the 1-month old account with excessive narcissism. In general, narcissism is closely tied to: extreme self-focus an inflated sense of self a strong desire for recognition and praise 2 put of 3 minimum. What are you talking about? Are you deflecting? /r/PurplePillDebate04/10/22 07:36 AM

/r/PurplePillDebate04/10/22 07:35 AM

As someone who is tall, used to be overweight, and got shredded - personality is almost entirely the halo effect. How tf would you know that? All you did is got hot. You have no idea how many women rejected you based on personality because there were enough women that didn’t care. Sample bias.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/10/22 07:27 AM

You are choosing to assume the minority reason is the majority reason. People in the west date out of choice. These cynical rationalisations are hilarious.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/10/22 07:23 AM

It’s weird how not many people here have mentioned “children” The HUGE time/energy drain of taking care of kids, young kids alone can kill a sex drive.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/10/22 07:16 AM

This change was a big effort, 10 years. Not a full time effort of course. But at 10 I learned that I could change. Then it was a 4 month effort to change from pessimist to optimist. I’d say conscious change is the biggest effort, as it typically just happens over time without us realising. Some people never have to consciously change their personality, but many others do.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/10/22 01:05 PM

Spending so much time on the internet all your “real life anecdotes” are of social media comments and behaviour. The internet and social media is wonderful. But there’s a point where people use it as a way to stay in the know about things going on in the world when it’s not a true representation.

It’s annoying when people say women don’t really mean “personality” of course they do! This is like complaining about people saying they like the “story” instead of saying they like the “book”
/r/PurplePillDebate01/10/22 11:30 AM

It absolutely is. “Game” is what men use to express their personality. So women are actually talking about personality when they say they like personality. This is like complaining about people saying they like the “story” instead of saying they like the “book”

People were more socialised back then so there was probably a higher standard for “good game” back then. “What’s your star sign” has always been cringe. now a brother gotta think about joining the league and shit Only terminally online people think women value random DMs more than irl interaction.

All you have talked about is perception, you have only explained WHY sluttiness in men is not looked upon negatively, nothing that really makes the behaviour itself not slutty. You’re essentially saying it’s not slutty because you find it more impressive, which is ridiculous. ”slutty” ≠ “not impressive”
/r/PurplePillDebate29/09/22 12:52 AM

single fathers are better parents than single mothers. Do you know why that is? Have you investigated the reasons behind that at all?
/r/PurplePillDebate29/09/22 12:48 AM

*Yawn* All that does prove that the behaviour isn’t slutty. If a man does it with the same ease it still counts as indulgence. Do we call wealthier people “greedy” because it’s easier for them to buy a house? No. Because that’s stupid, resting the criteria on effort taken is stupid AF. We call them “greedy” if they frivolously bought 100’s of houses an left them empty. Amount of Effort has no bearing on overindulgence. Because overindulgence is still overindulgence which is “slutty”.

You are operating with the wrong paradigm. Men and women are NOT equal, we have never been equal, we will never be equal. You are wrong about. But I don’t think you even care. What’s your strategy for verifying if you’re wrong?

Deflection from answering the question. Of course.

I didn’t say it was bad. I said it’s not how people would work. It’s entirely possible and often probable that they won’t like some of the things you like.

A lot of men these days feel pressured because the economy makes it hard to perform those financial gender roles. A lot of men want to be seen as “that guy!” that can provide everything. Being seem as masculine is SUPER important to their identity. It’s not everyone though, and even those that do would typically break up because of it. It seems like your ex had untreated mental health issues that ultimately contributed to the break-up.
