i’m a half inch from 6ft and every single time I go to the doctor and they measure me a joke about being just below the golden height gets thrown out there. I’m not even short and I still get made fun of. I just wish we could stop judging genetics we can’t control. We’re getting to that point where a bunch of stuff you can control is becoming off limits but for men that’s less true and includes genetics.

i think i would exist. my birth parents were two druggies who got together to have a dual income for drugs and pretty much fell into getting pregnant. Modern dating doesn’t really affect the drug scene imo. They OD’d about five years ago and i didn’t even find out until 2 months ago.

you aren’t ready for marriage. you have a warped image of the opposite gender, you don’t want love in your life, you’re judging your own life constantly and telling yourself everyday you don’t need something. You’re more obsessed with the opposite gender than most people who do want a partner.

My personal experience is that women are better at initially making you feel heard/not alone/validated but after that initial chat the details are gone to the wind. Most guys aren’t good at even that but when I have found a guy who is good at listening they also know how to do more than that.

My gf asked for an open relationship after we started delving into a more kinky sex life. Her exact words were “I would like to see other women actually get pleasure out of a sexual encounter. From my man, it would be hot.” I thought it was just something she said after a little fun in bed but she brought it up again the next day, saying she’d already talked to her friend asking if she’d like to get her pussy eaten. So it’s not really an open relationship, more like she finds women/friends who h…

I have a need to match colors. and I'm not talking about the way most men match "blue" and it could be any shade or hue of blue/turquoise/blue-green. I mean you could get as specific as something like dark pastel lavender and I would have a hat, top, bottom, and shoes in that color. It's not just an outfit that looks like you didn't blindly pick it out either, I comb my facial hair and run a product through it, never leave the house without a (1 single) swipe of deodorant under each armpit and a…

You're kind of taking love out of the whole equation, which is imo where the problem lies and where most people find fault with the situation. If two people marry for love, then someone who looks more conventionally attractive doesn't matter. If you're in the position to want to switch partners while being happily married, you married for the wrong reasons and most of society is going to look down on you for lying to someone.

FDS never has any success stories and is constantly talking about how men are the problem always. You would think they’d eventually kinda get bored with what seems like the first step of the process, realizing most men are “Low Value” as they say, and start discussing how to better themselves and succeed in attracting “High Value” partners. I’ve been lurking the sub for 3 years and have never seen anyone talk about that.

im a guy, but man is this super specific. What sort of MMA coach is setting up matches and not making sure it's a fair fight? to the point you get stomped? and it's a humiliating lose on top of it?

but want isn't mentioned anywhere in your post. Even then I wanted to stop what was happening. As others have said they could want stuff or money or a place to stay. That makes someone sexually attractive enough to not try and push them off of you if they were trying to have sex.

As an attractive dude, you’re getting like 1000% more attention than an average or god forbid, below average dude. That means, even if you’re in it for looks, you’re going to get a ton of attention from low value women. If you’re in it for a type or even personality, you’re not getting much of that at all. Women haven’t learned and don’t thrive on having an interesting personality. They got sex from hunky dumb dudes by leaning over, touching hands, and laughing at everything. That’s how they pla…

really great viewpoint if i was 15 and taking my first philosophy course. In the real world though, people aren't going to be happy with you acknowledge the social exchange and would probably instantly shutdown the interaction. On top of that, as someone else has said, no one is going to be 100% truthful about their intentions. On top of THAT, it doesn't work for every example, even one of the two you mentioned. You cannot 100% commit to someone until you die, otherwise you will always have the …

you'd have to be either too stupid or egotistical to understand that it wasn't just your accomplishment once they started supporting you. That is if they actually did that before you switched. Personally I kinda hate how it's almost always someone who is supportive and caring in exchange for looks, that's usually coupled with greed and a bit of vapidness.

That's a pretty big section of the dating pool's expectations right now. You might as well say you don't have to participate in finding a partner, which goes against pretty much every biological motive you have.

the men at school are fine with it because they know arguing against it is a lose-lose situation for them. It’s not the socially acceptable time to defend themselves. Her being vindictive because she knows like 5 guys who are dicks in her life is one of the biggest logical fallacies people make. Ask her to record herself counting out and naming 1 billion men. I think the problem isn’t that there are people in the two different camps, I think it’s that people very often move from the casual sex is fine to the connection side once they reach a certain age, and then expect it not to matter.

Literally telling every guy to conform to your personal aesthetic is really telling of how insecure you are in your own body, while also being the exact opposite message of Men Go Their Own Way. Not only that, you have no idea what criticism means. When a man critiques something it's done in a professional manner, you're acting like a typical seat on the carrousel. Name calling, no substantial argument, attacking character instead of debating, you're way too good at this to not be a chick

It's a joke on how people are saying they identify as animals/fictional character/galaxies/etc. When that first started becoming popular, someone made a satire post saying they identified as an apache attack helicopter and it's been the go to for making fun of them since.

I literally quoted the reasoning behind the law, but one is someone the French government sees as disturbing the peace, and the other is seen as trying to catch someone who isn't taking care of their responsibilities, and they may even see the women as a damsel in distress sort of thing.

One is the man wanting to "cause friction" by seeing if the kid is his, and the other is a woman trying to get a run away father to take care of a kid. Do you really think judges wouldn't favor one over the other?

My argument to that is boners != hormones, it's blood rushing to the penis because they either find something attractive or stimulation. Yes they may have to try to not focus on whatever they're getting hard for but that's not a "let me try to keep X emotion in check".
/r/PurplePillDebate26/05/17 08:29 PM

You're looking too much into it, as many of the posts in this sub do. Both are hormonal, but women are more so. Just like there are different grades of spicy, mild/medium/hot, but you don't call the mild spicy, even though it still is somewhat spicy.
