Not really. Anybody can work a job for the sake of money rather than passion for the job. Not everyone is career orientated and values moving up the career ladder, some people are happy to just work a stable job that makes the enough money. This goes for men and women.

I don’t mind someone being critical of something, this is something I value in a lot of areas tbh. It’s good to consider multiple sides and fact check stuff, I’d never want someone to fully side with anything without considering other perspectives on it. Same goes with this, I’d especially in modern feminism where the lines become more blurred.

I don’t always know where I land but growing up, I never gave relationships much thought really. I wouldn’t say I was career focused or guided but I cared more about that stuff and independence there over a relationship. Now that I’ve gotten older and in a relationship, I honestly do enjoy the thought of some of the more traditional relationship aspects such as looking after my kids, cooking for my man etc. I still do want to have a good paying career myself but I always would love the more trad…

I think it’s fine as long as the person also has an intention in the activity and doesn’t make it obvious to everyone that dating is their intention. They should still respect whatever the group is about but it’s fine to use it to find someone who has something in common with you as a potential date.

To be honest, not everyone’s ambition is career related. Some people have a job to earn money and that’s it, you don’t have to always aim for more if you aren’t interested. I think if she’s not ambitious in other areas then yeah but this isn’t necessarily a sign of no ambition. Potentially just differences in defining ambition.

This one’s more tough. I find the original one outright bad because it is clearly not necessary to say and probably has been made to cause harm. This one is more read between the lines as you have said so it’s harder to know the intention. I would still find it unnecessary to say but my opinion would be more guided by their past behaviour towards me. Like if they’ve been treating me well up until that point, I’d brush this one off because at the end of the day, they chose me even if I don’t fit …

I think that it’s an unecessary comment to make. What does it even achieve? It’s just bringing up something hurtful which has no benefit to anyone. I would be really hurt, it’s an ignorance is bliss situation. It would be more hurtful them telling me than them feeling that way since I just think telling someone that is to cause harm. It’s overly honest for no reason.

You do realise women can have opinions without completing licking other women’s arses. I won’t say ‘oh it’s always the man’s fault 😍’. That’s ridiculous. Of course it would be the woman’s fault. I don’t doubt it’s a disgusting and fucked thing to do. I’m not minimising the man’s pain, my points were simply that you should not have a child with a woman you do not trust. No one should bring a kid into this world if they don’t even have trust in the partner. The relationship is clearly rocky how is…

Pain is inevitable and we take risks trusting people, that’s life. I think it’s pretty common sense NOT to have a baby if you don’t trust your partner…? And if you do have one when you don’t trust your partner, I think that’s a tad more irrational. If we all lived with this mindset we would all be displacing our feelings of distrust onto others instead of working it out ourselves like grown adults . If you got trust issues, sort it out before putting your issues onto others in this way. It is ju…

People can do bad things whether you trust them or not that is true. But if you KNOW you do not trust someone, especially for something as big as this, why even bother having a kid with them in the first place? You cannot even trust your partner to not cheat on you and yet you wanna add a child to the equation? It’s wrong and irresponsible. Trust is the foundation of a relationship. Some factors can be more negotiable but trust is either there or it isn’t. You need to be able to rely on your par…

I 100% agree with this opinion. If you don’t trust your partner that much, are you even ready to be having children with them??

I think the anger comes from the connotations of it. To me, it comes across as a lack of trust towards their partner. When people haven’t done anything wrong, some people yeah don’t get defensive and will just do it. But some people will be more defensive because tbh to me it’s a very surprisingly thing to just say like that without previous chats. It’s like why would you even want a kid with me if you don’t even trust me. Trust is the foundation of the relationship so if I think my partner does…

I partially agree. I don’t necessarily think an own bedroom but I think at least their own space. It allows people to relax in their own space rather than continuously having to be together. Sometimes people need that own space to chill out in and have free time which I think is perfectly fine. Arguably some may say you don’t need an own room to do that but having your own room or area for this can make it just idk more comfortable for people? I would wanna sleep next to my partner in the same r…

I just think if you don’t trust your partner THAT much, then why are you with them at all? I don’t deny that these things happen and someone ends up raising a child which isn’t theirs which is heartbreaking to find out. But surely if you think that this is the answer, you shouldn’t be having kids with your partner in the first place. I just don’t see how people think it’s a good idea to have kids with someone they don’t trust. And if it is something you value anyway, look others have said- bring…

It’s a very hard one. I feel like later I would blame myself and be like why the fuck didn’t I take the test, there must have been a sign but after I’m over the initial shock and pain, I think I’d stick with my decision and still make it. Simply because you can’t go around not trusting people, yk? That shit hurts and it’s not healthy at all. I think this could ruin lots of potentially good relationships as even if he isn’t cheating and you get test, that just symbolises a lack of trust in the re…

Definitely not. I’d only do it if there was actual evidence to indicate he is cheating but I’d have to feel very sure that he was, which like other comments have said, would impact the relationship in itself whether he’s cheating or not. I just think it’s unnecessary and if you trust your partner that much, you shouldn’t be with them.

I think the true essence of sisterhood has been lost sadly and you do bring up some valid points. I don’t think being a girls girl should be a universal rule. True sisterhood is calling your friends/other girls out on their mistakes, this is a really important factor in any friendship in my opinion. I will always protect other girls from danger no matter what our history is but I won’t always support girls if their behaviour is morally questionable. We should be able to call out our friends on t…

Like other comments, I think most tiktoks made on any dating preference are not to be trusted. At least not to be generalised because most women don’t think like this. It’s a shame what the media has become because you only see the worst of every community online and of course the better things are not gonna be spread about because majority of people would find it boring. Good news doesn’t excite many people. And you have to remember, people put on personas online. Content is content to them, it…
