4	Asking a man to cross the street is like asking a woman "to leave the room to the men." Asking/telling men to cross a street is moronic. Firstly why can't the women cross the street? Secondly as a white man who has been mugged by black men can I now ask black men to cross the street? IMO that would be a much better mirror argument. 4	When you feel like one of these men that's been disposed what do you do? Remind myself that I'm more then a paycheck. That the rest of the world can get fucked. And that as long as I am happy with who I am screw everyone else. Do something for you. Go fishing, for a walk, read a book, drink a beer, play a video game. It's clearly meant to instigate an argument, not a debate and therefore drive people further apart. I think telling men they should cross the street so that women, who are meant to be our equals in every way, can feel safe is utterly moronic. If the women feels threatened then there is no reason why she cannot cross the street. 2	I was tasked with making a lecture about gender equality and the wage gap specifically. What are some good subjects\resources I could use? Ensure you ask for any one with a question to wait until the end of your presentation to ask them. If you have 40 minutes leave about 10 for questions and make sure people know there will be time for questions at the end of your presentation. This way if someone tries to interject you can politely remind them that there will be time for questions at the end. If someone is being disruptive, don't get distracted.
