13	How to escalate? At what point do you ask to kiss/shag and how? When I was single, I used to rely on touch, without any romantic intention at first, to read signals. If I touched her and she pulled away, that was a red light. If she didn’t react, that was a neutral signal. But if she actively touched me back, that was a green light. With a red light, I’d stop immediately. With a neutral one, I’d keep the same level of contact until it turned green. And if it was green, I’d gradually escalate the touch (nothing sexual).
