I actually thought it was common for the woman to be asked those questions by the midwife without the guy present. Yeah... That sounds shady as fuck from the boss. OP, do you have anything in writing or email were your boss specifically says you can only take off one week? Because what he says vs the companies corporate policy is clearly at odds. Also, maybe look into lawyers should something happen to your employment.

I read the article and it seems the police and justice system really have it in for the guy almost to make an example of him. He was acquitted after a retrial. And during the trial, jurors were told about his visit to fetish clubs. It seems like they were trying to paint this guy as a deviant. The law stated in the article sets a very bad precedent of 'guilty until proven innocent'. But even then you could still be harassed under the guise of the law.

Are they for real? Its depicting a movie. Make believe, pretend. In the movies, just like the comics, male and female superheroes beat the shit out of each other. There is no suggesting in the poster that this is ok! She claims there is no context to the ad. Of course there is: It's advertising a movie of a popular franchise. I bet plenty of people, men and women, have seen these movies and are smart enough to not lose their shit over this.

Personally I don't really think circumcision is necessary unless it's for medical reasons. I don't think religious reasoning should even come into it as a factor. My thinking is: leave it alone unless there is a legitimate medical reason, e.g. phimosis, for a circumcision to take place.

I like how a bit of class division was thrown into the article too: the boy is in State care. The girls family is a ‘decent family'. But regardless of that, the fact that only the boy can be charged is ridiculous. Not that there should be any charge against either party in this case in my opinion.
