Pros: Likely to be sexually attractive Likely confident in her body and sensuality More likely to know what she's doing Cons: She's promiscuous

I shouldn't be disappointed at the result since I know that's how it is in general, but geez. Good that you're in a better environment now though

Well, the assumption I'm making is that the parents are married, so that would indicate at least some level of success. More specifically, I think having parents who are more honest about what people actually look for and how they actually behave would be valuable.

The same people who complain about the state of men in dating are essentially saying the boys should just get it, or it's only their father's job to teach them. Y'all are hilarious lol

https://old.reddit.com/r/PurplePillDebate/comments/12etogr/daily_community_chat_megathread/jfdeb3m/ The exchanges here are a perfect example of what I am getting at when I critique the adversarial women on this sub. The use of equivocation, the subtle taunting, condescension, the lack of accountability, and the unwillingness to apologize for a wrong are all readily on display. There's even an example of a woman covering for another woman's poor behavior. Not to mention that approaching someone i…

Nah, a lot of the loud men here are lazy. The amount of typos, poor grammar, hasty generalizations, and imprecise arguments make it easy for the women here to ask probing, sometimes tangential questions that make the male posters back themselves into a corner and invalidate their positions.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/04/23 06:26 PM

I feel you
/r/PurplePillDebate06/04/23 04:31 PM

There isn't a contradiction because the premise is the woman breaks up with the guy for a better one. She wouldn't be alpha widowed because she would view this new guy in that light.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/04/23 04:23 PM

Evolutionarily speaking, men have always been able to do the same. Actually, you made the claim, so you would have to prove it. I know you are trolling him though

I'm bemused that you don't think laughing push back accomplishes all three of those goals. I mean hey, if you think it makes sense, who am I, right? I still think it was the nosy thing and having something to argue about lol it's interesting that you never answered if you encountered these people in person. I work with highly educated, generally empathetic people. If they think women are idiotic, emotional, hypergamous bags of shit, they're doing a very good job of hiding it. So "no" lol You're …

While I can agree with that in a vacuum, I'm here solely to laugh at men who believe dumbass redpill shit. Nothing is going to be solved by my participation here at this point, I'm not sure you know why you're really here. First it was to defend your way of life, then it was only to laugh at idiots, and now it's to valiantly take a stand against an ideology by making the adherents know there's resistance and offer aid to the voices of the unheard. You're all over the place tbh Also, it's interes…

From what I've noticed, she does reveal a staggering lack of precision in the fellas' arguments, but her standards on logical argument become rather lenient when it comes to her own She's also like the poster child for what I mean when I say people weaponize example/proof requests.

Tbh, it seems your problem is less with the manosphere and more with white dudes. In any case, what will your participation at PPD do to curb this issue? What does posting Ph.D theses to random PPD dudes who just "yeah but" you accomplish?

Do the Q4M, Q4W flairs inherently place the two on opposing sides? The idea of the sub is RP vs BP (vs. everyone else), but it seems like it's become a gendered thing almost strictly.

One of the only people I feel was actually honest about their intentions was Poppy. She made it clear multiple times that she was here to dunk on "misogynistic" men and feel intellectually superior (my own words). More people come and stay with that intention than will admit. For both sides. Shout out to the people who are here to have conversations though. It's a fascinating topic.

There are many posts on AITA, the relationship advice subs, and other media platforms where women begin to feel like "he's not doing enough" after it takes him too long to right-the-ship in their imagined time frame, and the relationship suffers as a result of the lost respect. That's not to say that's where you're headed, but be mindful of that. Hypergamy isn't as simple as "I'm a gold-digger so I'll leave at any sign of financial trouble." Hopefully your situation turns around soon.

For me, it's because the women this applies to use plausible deniability to insult people and try to prop themselves as moral authorities in the process.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/04/23 05:54 PM

I wonder when the hypergamy was supposed to kick in From what I've seen, it kicks in if/when you begin to feel consistently overwhelmed and lose respect for him. For example, how long do you expect to be in this financial situation?

One thing you realize is that early American women who stayed at home were busy as hell! I feel like people would know this inherently if they read more. Literary novels in these settings almost never paint women in as living frivolously unless they are rich rich. At least not from what I recall.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/04/23 10:02 PM

I have you tagged as "Knows what she's talking about", so I've probably encountered some insightful comments of yours in the past. This post reinforces that tag. I will say, however, that grocery stores and gym encounters would likely be okay if you've seen each other multiple times. Like each encounter slightly escalates until you finally have a full conversation.

What about that is supposed to sound attractive to women? This is what you guys don't get. It was never for you. You weren't supposed to be a part of the conversation. I don't even know how women ended up getting involved in the manosphere. It's in the name.

I think my ego is insulted by that if I'm being honest. It feels almost supplicating, but I get it. So, am I correct in guessing that, assuming you're indeed in the USA, the shortage of teachers that we hear about across America is likely in poorer communities?

Tbh, I'm beginning to realize that most people of any given set of beliefs are not the ones to have discussions with. Most of what I've learned from this subreddit has been from a handful of members, some of whom are no longer posting. I've said it before, but if your goal is to learn, reading archived posts can be much more valuable, especially because of less emotional detachment.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/03/23 05:59 PM

I would agree. I've come to the same conclusion about specific men and women in this sub. I will just say that I think it's dangerous to let them inform your opinion of all men in the same way you would likely balk at someone basing their opinion and empathy for women off of the views and vitriol of misandrists. Hopefully you don't allow them to pull you too far down.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/03/23 05:48 PM

I've noticed a tendency women have of making unrealistic or irrelevant/fringe hypotheticals to try to counter a stated preference, and it's funny to see. It's like: I don't want to date a promiscuous woman. Ok, but what if she wanted you before she was promiscuous but was too shy to talk to you and now she's more confident in herself and her sexuality? That's not attractive? Man, go away lol As soon as those "but what if "s come out, I know it's about to be a ride, and I know y'all do that mess …

/r/PurplePillDebate30/03/23 01:21 AM

/r/PurplePillDebate25/03/23 09:26 PM

I don't know how to articulate this, but I think there's a balance somewhere. I agree that resentment can and does build in the case of reluctant settling. However, I don't think it's as binary as people make it out to be. People compromise a lot in life since many people don't get their first choices in things they want. Half of me agrees that it's best to be someone's first choice, but the other half thinks that's an unrealistic expectation for people to have en masse.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/03/23 06:12 PM
1

Fair enough. Appreciate the answer
/r/PurplePillDebate25/03/23 05:59 PM

I don't like this trend of comparing the best of men with the average and worst of women and vice-versa. Most men aren't what you've listed either and many are what you say women are in the first sentence. What's your goal in writing this?
/r/PurplePillDebate25/03/23 05:57 PM

I hold a similar sentiment, but if you are getting everything you want out of her, why does it matter what she did for her plan-A? Maybe I'm not articulating it properly. I'm still trying to iron out the idea/question.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/03/23 05:54 PM

That's interesting. Why do you feel resentment would grow? Have you ever been content with an option that was not your first choice?
/r/PurplePillDebate25/03/23 05:52 PM

Nope. You are fully aware that you were not her first choice. She doesn't treat you like that though. Would that still be a problem? If so, why?
/r/PurplePillDebate25/03/23 05:44 PM

I've noticed that you are quietly one of the most effective trolls on here It's wild
/r/PurplePillDebate25/03/23 05:41 PM

I didn't ask if her opinion of you mattered though; I asked if being first choice still matters if you're getting the treatment you want out of the relationship. If it does still matter, why?
/r/PurplePillDebate25/03/23 05:36 PM
2

Gotcha. Thanks for answering; hope you have a great day
/r/PurplePillDebate25/03/23 05:32 PM

An interesting perspective. Thank you for sharing
/r/PurplePillDebate25/03/23 05:30 PM

I knew someone would answer like this. If your interactions with her never made you feel that way, would it matter?

Ok.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/03/23 05:27 PM
1

But I think I get what your implying ? I'd like to know what you think I'm implying because I was asking to understand your thought process. In any case, let's say he responds with a generalization that you disagree with. What then? What if he generalizes to something you do agree with?
/r/PurplePillDebate25/03/23 05:23 PM

There's really nothing to say at this point lol Women don't like being judged by something that disqualifies a lot of them. Men try to rationalize why they have an aversion to it. Neither side really listens.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/03/23 05:15 PM

In order to do what though?
/r/PurplePillDebate25/03/23 05:13 PM

Q4M: If you are getting everything you want out of a relationship with a woman, does being non-first-choice still matter? If so, why? Ladies, I specifically want the guys' opinions on this but I know y'all don't follow directions

women should come up with original complaints and stop copying us Whether you're joking or not, this isn't going to happen lol Women copy a lot of things men do (and I'm sure vice-versa to preempt that annoying trend of "___ do it too"). Notice they had to create their own versions of TRP and the like (Pink Pill, FDS, Diabla/Vindicta, etc.). They've even lifted terms like "looksmaxxing" (ew) from the men they claim to hate.

Even though my husband chose me, even though he committed to me, I still felt inferior to her because she was considered higher on the female sexual hierarchy. She was more of a sexual being than I was. She was the sort of girl men lust after…and I was the sort of girl you marry when you’ve had your fun and you’re ready to settle down. Because wives and mothers, we aren’t fun, right? We’re not like Belle Delphine or Riley Reid. We can never compare (sexually) to the women you lust after. Reddit …

I understand the merits of providing examples in good-faith conversation. This is where plausible deniability comes in because those who do it maliciously can easily pose as those who genuinely want to learn as you do. This sub is meant for people who have different views, people who are only interested in discussing with others who already agree with them on everything have multiple other platforms to do just that. I'm not one of them; what was your intent in including this?

And this is why women can be very dangerous because they are conniving and inflict damage behind the scenes in covert ways. Men are just blunt force hammers that inflict damage in overt ways. So it’s easy to point out when we misbehave. The crazy part about all of this is that they can simply deny it because they're masters at maintaining plausible deniability. That's why I question exactly how weak and defenseless they were in the past compared to the prevailing narrative. If we know women are …

Good morning all, I've noticed a tactic that the sub's more adversarial women use that annoys me because men don't see it for what it is. Nearly every time men state an experience or something they've observed women do, at least one of the lovely ladies on this sub asks for an example (they demand it, really). Specifically, on-the-spot, court-ready evidence in the format of their choosing that is unfalsifiable. The reason this is such a slick move is that, socially, it's certainly reasonable (ev…

In b4 the female gaslighting that women aren’t abusive like that. I've seen this happen so many times that I've lost count. In my opinion, men at large are unlikely to develop the knowledge to identify women's emotional/psychological abuse or enough self-respect to deal with it even if they do.

For the lawyers on the sub, Can this be precluded by establishing a written agreement for the duration of the stay? Do apartment owners deal with squatters a lot?

Generally, people aren't the best with nuance from what I've seen. It's happened multiple times. Then: All women are capable of doing these things, so operate under that assumption/understanding Now: Got it! All women will do this at some point, and I can set my watch to it! Then: Don't put women on a pedestal, sacrificing your self-respect to get/keep her. Now: Men who treat women nicely are simps! And so on.

Must be weird for a Red Pill guy getting cheated on while being Red Pill. "while being Red Pill" implies that being Red Pill should mean they wouldn't expect to be cheated on. Otherwise, why would it be "weird"? If my interpretation is different than what you are saying your intent actually was, then fine. I don't think I'm off the mark at all, but I'll take your word for it.

/r/PurplePillDebate12/03/23 07:34 PM

Nope. Your point was that a RP guy would feel weird being cheated on while believing in RP, implying that they think they are un-cheatable men. I came back mentioning the "she's not yours; it's just your turn" line which would imply they are aware and account for that possibility (intellectually at least), so your statement made no sense. You trying to shift to questioning the reason for their investment in relationships is irrelevant to that interaction.

In the spirit of acknowledging contributions, I have learned a lot from the women on this sub. Some were instrumental to understanding how women think (ex. Atlas was amazingly open and frank about this. I only name her because she's no longer on the sub from my understanding). Morning everyone, Last night, I read a thread of this 47YO woman who was asking if men truly disregard women's careers. Now, I've already said many times that men lack nuance when communicating this point, so no point in arguing about it here. I want to highlight her thought process. Here is an excerpt (highlights are my own): Commenter: You don't have to be vague, just don't dwell on it. We truly don't care wat you do, or how much money you make. I think what you're getting at is that the way he phrased the message signaled some hostility associated with incels. Is that a fair characterization? I acknowledge that tact is important, but there is a balance. From my understanding, the men aren't saying "I cried and was immediately dumped". Rather, they're saying that they noticed their woman's disposition toward them changed considerably afterwards and over time led to behaviors that signaled a loss of respect and attraction. Ironically, yo…

You're getting caught up in phrasing instead of the message. Also, I understand that you and other women exist who are like this. You are not the default. Otherwise, it wouldn't be a near-universal experience for men. Are you willing to acknowledge that possibility?

I will ask, however, if you are open to the possibility that men have also been hurt by women? Can it be more than simply not getting their penises serviced as teenagers? It doesn't make sense to resent people you don't know and have never met. I've read many of your comments, and you're doing just that. Intenti…

You can't say it's incel-based when thousands of men are relaying their experiences from what happened in their sexually active relationships. That's just dismissive.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/02/23 05:09 PM

Your observation mirrors my own. You see that a lot on subs like AITA or other judgement-based environments. The default behavior is to try to find a way to pin it on the guy. I'm grateful for the women who don't do that on those subs.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/02/23 05:06 PM

It may happen because of a platitude of [reasons] I believe the word you're looking for is 'plethora'. 'Platitude' doesn't work in this context. As for your question, one reason could be that women are more likely to assume a relationship with the man they're having sex with. The guy may think otherwise.

I don't know how to emphasize that I simply do not care about your sister dating/rejecting tall dudes. The point was to highlight both your lack of awareness of other though processes and the irrelevance of your sister's experience. I'll be honest. I didn't expect this from an engineer.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/02/23 07:59 PM

In this conversation, I've learned that you don't think women think differently from yourself, and that your sister is a fine, promiscuous mother. I appreciate you lol
/r/PurplePillDebate13/02/23 07:46 PM
1

Your point earlier was that your sister dated whoever she wanted when she was younger. Based on your reply, she was not a mother at that time. Therefore, that experience is irrelevant. Does she have as high of standards today? Come on now. EDIT: And why would I care about her dating tall men lol?
/r/PurplePillDebate13/02/23 07:43 PM
1

If so, is it possible that they think differently? Possible, but seeing as I observe what I can in the age of internet, it's not super likely. Incredible lol Well she dated whoever she wanted when she was younger, including tall guys. They're not turning her down, so it's not "entitled" in the least. Was your sister a single mother? That's what these guys are complaining about. If not, men pursuing her is irrelevant.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/02/23 07:40 PM

Do women exist outside of you and your friends? If so, is it possible that they think differently? What does your sister allegedly being gorgeous have to do with it?

I think it depends on if she wants biological children. Otherwise, I don't think there would be a limit.

You're using a different metric.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/02/23 07:28 PM

The idea is that women date across and up economically because they want a man with resources and power. As a result, logically, men are going to be dating across and down by that same metric.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/02/23 07:20 PM
1

In general, no. The impression I get is that many women think men are failed versions of them. Nor, quite frankly, do I get the sense that they feel an incentive to try to understand. Some are super dope though
/r/PurplePillDebate13/02/23 06:43 PM

They will say men date down and women date up. From my understanding, they're talking monetarily and prestige.

That's what I mean by having different definitions. Are you differentiating between teasing and admiration with the romantic undertone, or are you simply classifying it all as flirting? But also, this didn't really address what I wrote. Your social circle of gregarious people doesn't necessarily reflect the average person. I've joked with and teased women I'm not interested in, but I hope they didn't take it as me flirting since I see deliberate flirting as an indication of interest. It's a real…

Women have even said that they lost attraction to a guy because he didn't escalate from the flirt. I'm trying to understand why that other poster has never heard of that.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/02/23 06:15 PM

Most people flirt with a purpose. That purpose is to attempt to get a potential mate. That applies to both men and women. I can agree with most of what you're saying, but pretending the average person flirts just for the heck of it is unrealistic. Unless we have different definitions of what constitutes as flirting.

The arguments do recycle (like a lot), but if you've been on here for a long time, you'll notice an sizeable dearth if not absence of what used to be labeled "Blue Pill". At first, it was RP vs BP vs other curious people. Now it's more of a gendered thing. The thing is though, many of the ladies here aren't even really disagreeing anymore with the ideas. Pasting a comment I've made on this topic: While there are men who literally mean they couldn't care less, I think generally men mean that a woman's career and achievements do not influence him romantically or sexually. For example, there are many women who take on their husband's achievements as their own because they can subconsciously weaponize it for social standing. It's just weird to be like "actually, women are on more meds because they're mentally ill; not because they're single and unhappy. So there!" Like...where are the priorities lol Don't take it too hard though; I just found it funny and was teasing you a bit.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/02/23 10:14 PM

You're not more concerned about a number of women needing mental illness medication than proving to men that women are happy being single?
/r/PurplePillDebate10/02/23 09:57 PM

To be honest, the level of cognitive dissonance it takes to complain about sexual objectification and willingly wear clothing to accentuate sexual characteristics has to be exhausting. I don't know how they do it.

IRL people feel like a mix of the two sides with most leaning to the blue. It's like people internally know 'red' things, but would only verbalize 'blue' things publicly if that makes sense. Here, especially years ago, the sides were rather stark in contrast. Can you say a side is extreme if it's the majority and mostly uncontested in mainstream places And yes lol It probably depends on the culture viewing the side though.

I guess I would tell him. I might get hate for this but IMO his cheating is worse. You were pregnant at the time when he cheated, married and had been together for years. You said you were at your sister’s wedding when you cheated. Were you two even that serious yet if he wasn’t even invited to your sisters wedding? You’re totally justified in being hurt by his behavior even if you had a transgression years ago. The top comment lol

Grows naturally vs. artificial. I get what you're saying. However, men don't spend over an hour a day "putting on their face". I'm not moving from that position.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/02/23 03:20 AM

You cannot equate something men grow naturally to something women deliberately seek and manufacture to make themselves artificially more attractive. I understand James Harden is considerably less attractive without the beard. He still grew it. That's like saying a guy is masking for working out. It's cool if most women disagree; it's in their best interest to do so. I still hold my opinion though.

I'm partial to the definition listed in this article. Pasting: Confidence develops when you have a deep sense that you can handle the emotional outcome of whatever you face or pursue. Another way to put it is that confidence is the felt sense of a “can-do" attitude. The idea is that it is not something that one develops directly, but is a by-product of emotional maturity and positive self-esteem.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/01/23 05:51 PM

While it is a good question, the idea of asking what a sh*t test is on a forum about debating RP ideas is rather noteworthy. I've noticed people here are generally uninformed about ideas they're debating.
