I support men's rights and you support men's rights. We're in agreement on that. But I would say for your own mental health you just need to take a breather and relax. It'll be ok. Don't let misandry consume you or rent space in your head for free. The best way to be a successful advocate for men's rights is to be calm and make reasonable arguments. And stay strong. The best route is stoicism, in my opinion.

I don't think it's illogical at all. I don't see any conflict. All of those things can be true at the same time. A gay man who is right-wing can also support men's rights. Seems perfectly fine to me.

Yup. I'll just use pop music as an example. It's a real problem in pop music. Sabrina Carpenter is one of the worst offenders. Her lyrics suggest the most misandry. But it's not just her, it's almost every female pop artist. Mind you, each of these songs are all written by a team of many songwriters, so Sabrina Carpenter (and other pop artists) either play a minimal role in the creation of the lyrics, or in most cases they play no role. So the ones who are most to blame for widespread misandry i…

They can't handle a man who has agency. They despise a man who can make decisions on his own. They say they hate men, but once men decide they don't need them then they can't deal with that.

Yup. Just because they are learned women does not mean they are good women. Brains and character are two different things.

They still hold some weight in modern western society, although they should really hold no weight at all. They're garbage words that have ambiguous meanings. I think feminists use those words to demean men and put doubt in their heads. Some men who may not have a lot of intestinal fortitude might actually believe those things about themselves after being called those things by a feminist or a group of feminists, even though they are not creepy or weird at all. It's just a label that they apply t…

I felt bad for Pearl. I don't agree with her support for MAGA but she is at least an ally to men and she tries to get her point across, although not always very well.

I would say just don't debate a feminist because they're hysterical. Feminism has never not been rotten. The times I have gotten into it with feminists on Reddit they get all pissy and then that pissiness brings out the misandry and then they make threats and they just go totally nuts and try to get you banned. They swarm like a hive of bees too when it comes to the down arrows. They're not what I would call a peaceful or pleasant bunch. Every time I see them they are angry. What guy would want …

Here we are playing defense again. Seems like we're almost always playing defense these days. We rarely have our offense out on the field and up and running. Yeah, the dehumanization of men is concerning. I looked at the age bracket you mentioned that would rather be with a bear and it is the youngest adult female age group (18-29). They've been heavily indoctrinated by old feminists. For some reason it is that particular age group that has participated in the most misandry. In other words, we'r…

My library here in Florida is run by women. So whenever they have their new releases on the shelf, I can barely find one book written by a man. There are very few of them on that shelf. They mainly only display books written by female authors. I don't particularly like books written by women. It's not a sexist thing, it's just a quality thing. I feel that men are better authors. The books you listed here in your graphic are pretty much the types of titles I see in the new release section. The bo…

I think you are confusing human rights abuses with gender issues. The stuff you mentioned about women having few or no rights in some nations is a human rights abuse issue, and I don't condone that sort of thing at all. I am a strong supporter of human rights. But sending an army of feminists there to combat that issue can only make things much worse. The idea is to stop the spread of feminism throughout the globe, to nip it in the bud. It's already a cancer on modern Western society, so spreadi…

Being a leftist and being anti-feminist at the same time is not easy. Feminists often water down the message of our anti-authoritarian rallies by pushing their own agenda there. They try to hijack the rallies for their own nefarious purposes. Somehow they got lumped in with us on the left and it's most unfortunate. I don't want anything to do with them. I've never believed their propaganda and I have always seen right through them. Modern feminists don't want equality, they want female superiori…

I am a leftist and I split my time between here and the MensRights subreddit. I have found both to be helpful. I first went to the other subreddit and liked it and wondered, "Hm, I wonder if there are any guys on the left like myself who support men's rights and oppose feminism?" And I eventually found this place. I lucked out. You know, being on the left and supporting men's rights can feel kind of lonely so I am glad I found this place. It often gets unjustly and wrongly categorized as an alt-right movement. But it's not about politics. It's about men standing up for thieir rights in a world now dominated by radical misandrist feminists. It's bullshit how men can't get together and have productive conversations about men's rights without being stuffed into some inaccurate category.

Thank you you ChatGPT for your analysis. I agree that trolls who come here do a disservice to this great community. They need to get the hell out of here. There aren't many spaces for men's rights on Reddit and we need this place, but the feminist trolls can go elsewhere. However, if they are offering constructive criticism then I am fine with that, just as long as it is not from a feminist. They don't do constructive criticism. They do hysterics.

I don't go to clubs anymore because I am 50. But I do remember many times in my younger years when I was denied entry because the bouncers said too many men were in the establishment. That's discriminatory. Now, I am not exactly sure what this article is referring to, but I think they are saying they don't want single men in the bar because they are making the false assumption that single men are dangerous. Maybe I am interpreting the article wrong, I don't know. But if they are making the false…

Misandry has gotten so much worse over the years. It has become very popular on social media for women to hate all men, and I find that to be very disturbing. It's not even about some quest for equal rights anymore. It goes wayyyyyy beyond that. It is some straight up hate group stuff. It's like some kind of weird militant misandry cult. If one of them in their cult doesn't do enough hate speech towards men then they all get together and bully that woman real bad. It's like constant hate speech …

I was disappointed to see her use the same old tired feminist playbook by body shaming a man because she doesn't agree with him. I am a man on the left and I would never body shame a woman on the right simply because I don't agree with her. A lot of women on the left might not even realize that there are men's rights advocates who are also on the left. We're on the same team. But when they participate in misandry it hurts the unity among leftists.

No offense, but you seem to be a bit manic. The best thing to do is let the episode pass, get some rest, relax, read up on the history of the men's rights movement, and come back to us at a later time. We're always happy to discuss men's rights issues with those who have done their homework.

People in this group generally know about the men's rights movement very well. We know about the principles and history of the movement. We know what we believe and why we believe it. But I think you stumbled upon this place without really knowing for us or the men's right movement in general and came in here looking for a disagreement. We're generally not going to engage with that type of person.

I took a number of constitutional law courses in order to graduate in Political Science a long time ago and then I went to law school but did not finish, but I'll just give you the AI overview to simplify things. Some forms of hate speech are not protected by the First Amendment because they fall into categories of unprotected speech, such as true threats, incitement to imminent lawless action, discriminatory harassment, and defamation. This is very good news. One good thing about our community is that we aren't misogynistic, rather we stand up for men's rights in reaction to all of the attacks we get from misandrists. We don't hate on anyone and we're not a toxic community. We're a good community. It is nice to see a toxic hate group removed from Reddit. I'm all for free speech and everyhing, but misandrists go way over the line into the territory of physical threats and they say they wish men would commit more suicide and all…

"Rarely, they'll look around and realize that they're creating the society they claim to want and that it sucks" This. They made their own bed and now they must lie in it. I think I can speak for most men in saying that they do not sympathize with women who complain about men not hitting on them. Even if the women saying this are not radical feminists who create feminist content, they are still the ones hitting the like buttons under those feminist social media clips such as Tik Tok and all sort…

I am a middle aged man. I still get DVDs from the library. I've taken a look at all of the new superhero movies on the shelf for the last dozen years, and if it features a woman on the cover as the hero of the film, I just skip it. This means that I skip the vast majority of what is on the shelf in the superhero/ action section. I have tried to watch a few of them that feature the "strong female lead" and they're so bad. So I really have tried, but they were so bad and unrealistic that I gave up…

Modern western women have nothing to offer to men, therefore there is no reason for men to date them. Modern western women aren't nice. Modern western women are vain and attention seeking. Modern western women act masculine. Modern western women think misandry is cool. And the list goes on and on.

I'm kind of in an odd spot. I support the left when it comes to economic issues. However, I am generally conservative on social issues. But the issue that is most important to me is men's rights. I just wish for once politicians would recognize men's rights as a major issue. I wish a major politician would put that at the top of thier list. But you never hear them talk about it. It's as if the men's rights movement doesn't exist to them. But we exist.

She's not off the hook. She does play a role in writing the lyrics. She has said this. She gets together with her songwriters and does add some input concerning the lyrics. She knows what she's doing, and what she's doing is cashing in on misandry to get rich. It's sick, but this is where we are at as a society right now.

When we go on their subreddits and are polite and calmly offer facts then they get hysterical and they viciously attack us and swear at us and say they hate all men and they wish our suicide rate would go up and then they permanently ban us. When they come to our subreddit we listen to them and respond with facts in a calm manner and we don't ban them, nor should we ban them. We take the high road yet they take the low road. And somehow we're the bad guys in all of this. It's so messed up. it re…

Yeah. That stuff is really more along the lines of manosphere stuff and it falls outside of the scope of men's rights. That stuff falls into the categories of pick up artists and MGTOW and black pill stuff and all sorts of other things. Critics of men's rights often make a huge mistake by putting men's rights under the umbrella of the manosphere.

That's a loaded question. That would be like a theist asking an atheist, "Can you prove to me that a god doesn't exist?" The burden of proof is not on the atheist. The theist is the one making the claim that a god exists so they must prove their claim. So you are framing the debate in such a manner that you are putting the replier in a straitjacket right from the get-go. Now, if you want to be fair about this you should ask, "Does a patriarchal system exist in the modern western world?"

The amount of misandry has increased rapidly in the last few years. It has been accepted and normalized. That gets ignored. The only ones who realize it and talk about that are people in the men's rights movement. The media refuses to report on misandry.

Yes, the term 'economic liberalism' in the European sense is related to libertarianism. It promotes free markets. But I am referring to the American form of economic liberalism, which promotes unions and worker's rights and fair wages and strong workplace safety guidelines, etc.

Hold up a second. I am a 50 year old liberal man who votes blue (I am an economic liberal rather than a social liberal) and for a long time I have been a men's rights activist. Men's rights activists might disagree on some things outside of men's rights, but we do all come together in a tight-knit community when it comes to supporting men's rights.

No. Feminism has never not been rotten. Going way back to its inception at Seneca Falls, it has been fundamentally flawed. It is a system that must be crumpled up and thrown in the garbage.

I would say 25% of men support feminism, 25% know that young women are making these man hating posts and videos on social media and they dont care, 25% don't know young women are doing this, and 25% of men care about men's issues (most passively care and the others are more active about caring and those are the types you will see in this subreddit).

Here in the U.S. it is unfortunately very popular. The popular thing for young women to do is go on social media and hate on men all day long. The vast majority of these young women have been wronged by no one. They just see it as a social media trend and they mindlessly follow it. So on a scale of how bad it is from 1-10 (10 being worst), I would say it is a 9 right now.

I wish I could agree with you, but in the U.S. I see it still going the opposite direction. Unfortunately, misandry is still very popular among young women, especially on social media. Hopefully, this will change in the coming years. I hope we can turn the tide.

I'm not really sure if you are an incel. Only you can determine that. However, I think some of your statements and beliefs are generalizations. It's ok to be pro-men's rights. That's what I am. But it's another thing to be a woman hater. Remember, it's good to open your mind and be well-rounded and develop relationships with women. You'll find that they're not all bad. I've had some good relationships and met some cool women in my life and I am glad they were a part of my life.

Things aren't good for men right now. There are a lot of heavy issues we are facing and men don't really have support groups. If we went to one, we would probably be seen as weak by society because society has conditioned men to deal with all problems on their own, whereas women have support groups and are commended for going to one. It's like men used to be lions (part of a social structure in a group) and now we are tigers (solitary animals). Both are strong and powerful, but one of them has t…

I am a liberal who is a men's rights activist, which puts me in a weird position.
