I am a very handsome, high-inhibition not very masculine man. My good friend is a homely, low-inhibition very masculine man. Dude has six ex-wives and an orphanage of children scattered across the country. I’m single af hoping to be a father one day. No comprende what this has to do with TRP. This reads like a romance novel for jilted lovers. The cover: Fabio sits in the chair, book resting half open. A breeze tosses golden hair. The woman, shocked as to nearly drop her linen shawl is met with piercing eyes, a knowing smirk. "Shasta knew she could never again taste the musk of such a beast, and wept."

That same inflammatory tone is used to describe spoiled kids without anyone questioning the generalization. The TRP sentiment is akin to wealthy children's work ethic. It's not that wealthy children (women) are predisposed to a poor work ethic (emotional immaturity) but that they are so often 'deprived of opportunities' to develop one that the generalization holds.

They aren't strawmen, be fair. TRP is full of misogynists who derail the point with hur durr bitchez be stoopid. Every day. And they do get upvoted. TRP is a brand, nobody owns it, and it will evolve to represent the majority membership. If that membership no longer shares the values of the brand founders, tough shit. I assume that's what TrueTRP is for, and why it's invitation only.

Well shit, that's what I get for skipping the fine print. Still, they need [sic] where appropriate. Any critical thinker will see the first instance of "off" instead of "of" and dismiss this guy as a pedantic windbag. You can't challenge the underpinnings of social order without crossing your t's, period.

That's a hell of a good read, but I hate to say I wouldn't link it to anyone outside TRP. It's been up for over six years with uncorrected spelling/editorial errors. It's too easy to discount his argument, because it's obvious he didn't have enough people to proofread or anyone sufficiently interested to notify the webmaster. For six years. That's a tough sell academically.
