Well, I suppose we will have to agree to disagree here, because you feel property of his being taken away is somehow leveling the playing field of this argument. It is worth noting that the reason the support is being paid is to fund the raising of the child, as it is in the interest of the state to keep the child off their payment. If the father didn't want to pay that money he has a really simple option: don't have the sex. It seems you want the option to back out of the men's side of the agre…

Because it is her body. Men and women are not equal in this equation, even if you wish they were. She gets the say because it's her body they carriers the child or not. If the child were in some vat somewhere and did not involve her body for 9 months, I'd agree with you. But that's not the reality.

Abortion is a moral choice. I think a woman has the right to choose since it's her body. I feel the man entering into sex should be aware he will need to deal with whatever choice the woman makes in the case of an unintended pregnancy. The time to back out of giving the woman that choice is before the sex.
