I don't watch this show but is this young woman supposed to marry this man?? I feel sick. Poor girl.

It's not much but on the relationship advice sub I've been seeing more men calling out age gap relationships. Now if only they called out each other in real life too...

Not only watching porn but extremely violent at that. I think it was here on Reddit where I saw a doctor comment they've been seeing a lot of young girls who come to the ER for injuries they've sustained during intercourse. It's horrifying.

The arrogance is astounding. "How could you not want to marry me ?"

I already called a couple of imaginary divorce lawyers for you! I got your back!
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy06/12/20 10:44 AM

It's been said a million times but before a man proposes he should be 100% sure she's going to say yes. That's as simple as having a conversation about marriage and making sure you're both on the same page. How the proposal's gonna go down can be a surprise, but make sure she wants you to propose. Also, the middle of a mall is not a good place to propose.

The fact that FDS is being lumped with women hating subs is proof enough that their campaign against this sub has worked. Tell me how are we anything like those subs that are all about actively harming women when all we're doing is precisely protect ourselves from abuse and mysoginy?

I had never heard of this hypothesis but it totally makes sense as a protection mechanism. Thanks for sharing! :)

To have them change after 15 years... that's terrifying. Do you think she perhaps ignored other red flags along the way?

Yes, absolutely! 🙏

Lol. What a crock of bullshit. This sounds like something they would say to appeal to those pickmeishas who are just dying to "fix and heal" their man 🙄

I wouldn't call anyone HV until the honeymoon phase is over and they've shown themselves to be consistently HV. In my experience around the two year mark is when they either confirm they're HV or the mask falls off. That's why I would personally never get engaged before the two year mark.

I just commented this before seeing your reply!! 100% replicates the same dynamics.

That basically replicates the dynamics of trauma bonding. Yikes.

How long until she regrets the gift? I give it until xmas 😩

Does the mom get a gift? What did she give up? Or it's just the dad who gets a pat on the back for doing his DUTY as a father? This is beyond ridiculous.

I agree with your statement but for me there's a difference between saying you enjoy pleasing your partner and saying giving blowjob is as pleasureable as getting pleasured yourself. Women are constantly pressured to be performative in bed and to put their partner's pleasure above theirs - that's what this statement sounded like to me.

I'm reading the comments in the original post and wow, so depressing. So many women sharing their experience of having to convince their boyfriend to marry them! I feel so bad for them... I wish they would recognize their value and dump these assholes.

Oof. Reading subs like breakingmom opened my eyes to how many women had children with LVM and now pretty much hate their lives. Or are in a hellish situation and don't even realize. Even the way they speak of their children sometimes is worrisome.

This is so true! I've seen men shave their beard and look like a complete different person. If you're dating a guy with a superthick beard try to find pictures of him without the beard. Make sure you know what he really looks like. You don't want to invest your time just to end up finding out you hate their actual face 😅

"I LiKe GiViNg BlOwJoBs JuSt As MuCh As I LiKe BeInG pLeAsUrEd MySeLf" 🤡 Lmao. Sorry, that just screamed pick me to me. Anyway, this is not uncommon. Way too many men are so addicted to porn and jacking off that they have death-gripped themselves. They can no longer even have sex like a freaking normal person. Jesus.

I think 5 years tops if you're in your 20's or 30's. Personally, a 40 year old dating a late 40's or even a 50 year old guy wouldn't necessarily rise red flags for me.

First of all, I'm so sorry you were harassed by that piece of shit. You were really brave to record it. Do with that video what you feel comfortable with. It probably wouldn't hurt for the police to have it as these kinds of creeps tend to harass as many women as they can. If someone else were to come forward maybe it would help identify him. That being said, put your mental health first and don't force yourself to do something that could jeopardize it. As for your ex: I read your last post just…

This is disturbing. The way she doesn't even react when he grabs her like that? Seems like it's a normal occurrence for them. This isn't remotely funny.

Worms for brains, I swear. They don't even realize how disgusting they are and why no self-respecting woman would even look in their direction.

You're spot on in your analysis! And I also hope that someday she learns about FDS principles because otherwise she's in for a world of hurt and disappointment :(

This screams "unhealthy attachment", IMO. She's been only on two dates with this guy and it seems she's already slipped into obsessive territory. As another user said, she's probably been deprived of affection before and now she's flooded with emotion. She sounds young so I hope she has time to discover what it means to have a healthy investment in a relationship vs. what she's dealing with right now. This isn't healthy, at all. Edit: I feel bad because if things go wrong with this guy you can t…

Yes! Once you start giving up your wants/needs it's a slippery slope. I'd rather stay single for the rest of my life than force myself to be with someone that is just not for me. I gave too many chances in the past to men who were just not up to my desired standard and nothing good ever came out of it.

He's old enough to be her dad, jfc. At that age you think you know better than anyone, so I'm not surprised she's defending this relationship. Hopefully in a few years she'll see the light.
