Multiple income streams are for sure. As well as passive income. My point still stands. Check out Maslows hierarchy. Job enjoyment is more important to me. Motivational theory.

And if you have a job you enjoy don't get shamed into starting your own business. But if you are aiming to start one- use your work experiences to make the right decisions in your business. Scout out and execute.

It's not based on ego. I'm naturally highly empathetic anyway. It's a frame that gets me to prioritize and centralize my personal goals, similar to the Terminator Mindset described in the frame control book.

It seems like a "Life is a game and everyone else is an npc." mindset. It's a subjective reality frame I'm working on personally. It gets me to focus on myself more and build confidence. Though he could mean something else entirely different '-'

I do. We do. Funny enough he's a friend from my dojo. I think this was just him trying to grab some attention and challenge my position.

I have the same issue with this one friend. The problem stemmed from me being just a really chilled person and at that time in my life I just laughed stuff off like it didn't bother me and sometimes made a joke about it. And it worked for a time. But this one guy just didn't buy it and called my bluff with every opportunity he got, gradually pushing my boundaries. At the time I was quick to think of him as a snake but I later took responsibility for myself and realized the problem stemmed from…

Indeed. You just need to find your niche. Preferably something that keeps you healthy. It's all up to the person.

It's not for everyone but it's an option. Just like the rest I listed. Like I said; something you enjoy.

Do something you find interesting. Find a hobby, play a sport, go to gym; an environment you feel comfortable in and where it's necessary to interact with other people and you'll make friends and feel more comfortable around people.

Oh yes and if it turns out she's really not interested after all that; block her and delete that parasite. It's just a waste of your valuable time and energy.

I'm going through something similar. She's probably relying on your texts to feel better about herself and she's either not interested in you; or too shy to actually spend time with you. The best thing to do is just stop messaging her so much and ONLY message her when you intend to ask her out; when you have free time. DON'T make time just for her- don't let yourself down. This way you'll see if she's really interested or not. But yeah man just stop the texting, she's probably feeding off of it …

Alright Imma give you the real stuff here that helped me and I think will give you true self confidence. What I'll speak about is what I've learned from my own experience and also from very good books one of which I'll note at the end. The issue is the worrying about what others think. It's the essence of social anxiety and just shyness in general. And what you'll hear people tell you, "Stop worrying about what others think." I heard this often and tried for so long to follow this advice but it …
