You're absolutely right, I don't have a problem. I already feel what I did was right. This post was intended for discussion, not advice. You give neither insightful discussion nor good advice.

The two other times were very normal interactions. We both seemed to have a good time. The only time I ever texted her was to make plans. I need to put this into practice, though. Unfortunately I hold people to the same standard I hold myself. In this case, keeping my word. I'm certainly not going to continue to pursue her.

Honestly, I am used to it. I had a hunch from the very beginning. What I am not used to is getting absolutely no communication from the girl. Usually they at least have some bullshit excuse. This one just didn't show or answer her phone. It's pathetic.

That's great and all, but what I don't understand is why she couldn't at least say that. The only context I can give you is we decided to meet at a certain place at a certain time and she didn't show. I don't understand why she didn't just say no in the first place. I have been very upfront with her since the beginning of our relationship of my intentions. It's not like she said yes thinking it was a platonic thing and then started to realize I had different intentions.

I've seen this movie a few times. I think the ultimate message is the same Hollywood story of "love conquers all." The story is very empowering to women because it is the same narrative we see in most love stories. Boy meets girl, boy falls in love with girl, girl breaks up with boy because she wants to go ride more cock and lastly girl ultimately ends up staying (unconditionally) with the initial beta love interest. This type of narrative is very common. Another good example of this narrative i…

I'm not a first year, but most of the girls I'm talking about are first year students. I didn't think about it being a first year thing. It makes sense.

No, I'm a junior. I just recently swallowed the pill. I didn't really pay attention to this kind of thing until recently.

It's not that basic courtesy is a bad thing. If a one of your dates doesn't come to the door, that shouldn't be grounds to completely shun him. Maybe that's just the way he does things. If a girl called off a first date because I didn't ring her doorbell, I would be happy that I didn't waste my time on such a picky person. In other words, if a girl were taking me on a date, and decided to honk instead of come up to the door, I could care less. In my case, I would not be putting minimal effort in…
