that sounds awful for everyone involved. Unfortunately all guys are perceived as being strong and hard headed that nothing can bother them and well if not then you’re not a “man” and we also have a very toxic view on women that they are constantly the damsel in distress. That they can’t do well on their own… it’s really weird how both ends are just insensitive
