We so need this, erasing the taboo of mental health is what we need to work toward. Just like we go to the doctor for an ache on our bodies we must go to a therapist/psychiatrist for an ache in our mind. I hope this happens sooner than later and governments realize mental health is key to producing better citizens.

It will happen, it does with any process of balance of power. The thing is that it will pass quick, it wont take millennia like it did for women to be considered equals to men. If we do things right we’ll see the balance come about pretty soon if the consequences of climate change dont catch up to us first.

Im sorry but im not a feminist and even if i were i would be a liberal one, that leaves out so many people from the struggle. When are you going to stop arguing with them and start collaborating with the people that want to make a change, not simply transfer all power from one group to the other? I only see anger here, anger towards a target of the same lever of reasoning you have. Dont go that low. Channel that into something more productive, not only reactionary.

Im sorry, im not doing your work for you. If you really want to find those sources it doesn’t suffice to click a link. You need to be trained in critical thinking and social science research. You can do it on your own, no need of a college degree or any paid online course. If those teachers didn’t encourage you to question them and their biases then they weren’t really teachers of social sciences, they were there to push an agenda for the sake of doing it because they held a position of power.

Enroll in any social sciences course and people will look down on you when you say things like all men this all women that. Look up intersectional communities of women, men, lgbtq, workers, BIPOC, religious groups that are less nationalist and conservative, also communities that discuss new and hegemonic masculinity, theres a bunch of people out there willing to cooperate to make a change.

In academia, in intersectional communities, in places where men join to deconstruct themselves alongside with women and where any other identities are welcomed as a given. They only overpower any other voices in social media because it gets them clicks, likes, clout, social credit. Yes!!!! This is what we all need to realize and spread amongst all our fellow human beings!!! You got it right!! We let this happen, we didn’t have a more solid sense of community, responsibility and accountability and we let the mess get to how it is today. The fact that men feel compelled to voice this feelings is what it needs to happen. The movement made it possible for men to realize how the same system puts them at a disadvantage, not only against women but other men. This is what we need to keep happening, and with the catalyst of our interconnectedness brought by interdependence, transnationality and globalization it is bound to happen quick and we will get a better and more solid idea of what we need to achieve equilibrium.

Channel your anger correctly. Theres an number of different currents of feminism. Feminism is not one. I think you are mad at radical feminists who’s premise is that all men are “the enemy” and that there’s only one archetype of woman that has the right to exist and fight for women’s struggles against men. The rest of currents do not go that low and simple. Be mad, but be mad with the right people.

And this is how structures work, my guy. The only thing we han hope to do is not replicate the behaviors that end in those outcomes. It would be nice if we all equally condemned all types of crimes against our own species but the historical, cultural and social weight make our brains go nuts trying to battle between “us” and “them”.
