9	Female with Kids Refuses to Date Men with Kids of his Own Honestly, I wouldn't want a "step-mother" for my kids. I just wouldn't trust another woman. I think I'd be ok with a step-dad, if I ever ditched my wife with my kids, because I think men are more capable of being good fathers to children that aren't their own. I don't think woman have the same capacity for empathy, and I'd fear that a step-mother would secretly poison them or something like that, to make room for her own children. 1	Indicators of women's commitment Unless she's willing to make sacrifices for your happiness, don't do it. Doesn't that rule out all women right off the top? I mean, the only time a woman would really be willing to "make sacrifices" is if she believes that it will ultimately benefit herself.
