You didn't have a religious experience Yeah definitely not. I still think that the concept of believing in a god is absurd. But for me its was the first time I encountered a group of people with strong morals and clear goals in life.

I actually tried touch rugby two weeks ago and it was really fun. We took a beer after but most of the guys could not speak english and the few that did only complained about their fat girlfriends. So it was not very stimulating intellectually. My point of this post was not to say that worshiping something is awesome. But that the moral guidelines that religion provides may be necessary for a healthy society.

Thank you for this post, I will keep all of this in mind. I think I will have a hard time trusting any church that is not transparent with its finances.

You could have the same experience in any other sane group Problem is that I have yet to find another sane group. Actions become "god's will". It gives religious followers a dangerous certainty that comes with instant absolution of responsibility. This was my view of religion as well. But they where very clear that god gave humans free will, and thus you are responsible for all your actions.

Yes, most of the "TRP tactics" work here. Be confident, friendly and funny. Start lifting and dress clean. Money is not really important here and negging is usually a bad idea. In what part of Sweden do you live?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
