Dont you mean women at that time was more accepting of a man, cause of the whole family image thing. So the women was more or less simps too? But something changed in the mid 60s to 1970 with the whole hippie movement and being free and then the whole woman equal pay etc. movement which allowed women to basically value themselves more than men to higher standards cause now they didnt have to marry a man to have a good life...?
