Stupid comments don't deserve responses more than responses saying that's stupid lol.

What a stupid comment lmao

You're doing the same thing as the red pill guys in reverse...
/r/PurplePillDebate15/08/22 07:16 AM

Well it's not like they do it for no reason, there is massive pressure and expectation of men to be the breadwinner and to find a partner. Society pushes men to think this way. Well that wouldn't hurt but it doesn't really fix the problem.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/08/22 10:43 PM

Losing your job increases the risk significantly too, that doesn't men shouldn't try and get jobs. Well that's true and there's plenty of guys who have a relatively decent life and struggle to find someone, as shown by the increasing rate of sexlessness for men. We are all getting more and more lonely.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/08/22 10:21 PM

I mainly agree but I don't think it's unreasonable to be upset at not finding a romantic partner, even if you have everything else in your life. The fact that even getting a date is such a Herculean task for many men is an indicator of a wider societal problem with how humans are set up to socialize and interact. It should not be this hard, esp with the advent of advanced technology.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/08/22 10:18 PM

This isn't true in the slightest. You're clearly just a misandrist
/r/PurplePillDebate13/08/22 10:10 PM
2

Oh please, women talk like this about men all the time, I'm sure they'll be fine
/r/PurplePillDebate13/08/22 10:09 PM
4

Ok fine lol. That may be the case for some people but not all. Also that's a pretty mean assumption on your part , I don't think women who are unhappy with not finding a partner is dissatisfied with her male friends, see no reason as to how that applies to men. How have you even come to that conclusion lmao, having female friends and regarding doesn't fulfill your unhappiness with not finding a partner.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/08/22 10:07 PM

Men are at a risk of suicide if they've never had a partner too tbf. Not necessarily, plenty of normal guys with friends and family have never had a gf.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/08/22 09:48 PM
6

Not really, that's just romantic desires to the extreme, I think it's understandable to be generally unhappy about never managing to find a romantic partner.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/08/22 09:46 PM
2

Er you get over it and try again, with the advantage of experience, you're more likely to find someone than someone with none.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/08/22 09:37 PM
3

Yes exactly, environment and upbringing is far more definitive for a person's personality overall. And that's the same for my gf lol, she said she'd probably have been a dog lady if she didn't meet me by chance
/r/PurplePillDebate13/08/22 09:36 PM
6

And there are plenty of decent people who can't get relationships, so clearly that's not enough.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/08/22 09:32 PM
7

Stop gaslighting him by saying it's a mentality when he's literally saying the cause of the unhappiness. Having close friendships will do nothing to solve romantic desires
/r/PurplePillDebate13/08/22 09:30 PM

But you'd be worse off with a woman you feel isn't good enough for you
/r/PurplePillDebate13/08/22 09:26 PM

Did you not read the source? It says that women think 80% of men are out of thier league, so their definition of leagues is incredibly skewed. In her mind she may be thinking she's reasonable and think the guy is below average but, but in reality the guy is probably her league or better. This is like that stat that men think women who talk like 30% of the time is talking half of the time. Now if the man is letting her talk, say 40% of the time, in his mind, he's being very reasonable when in rea…

“women rate an incredible 80% of guys as worse-looking than medium. Very harsh. On the other hand, when it comes to actual messaging, women shift their expectations only just slightly ahead of the curve, which is a healthier pattern than guys’ pursuing the all-but-unattainable.” What part of your quote mentions men's standards? Correcting, you're not gonna show the parts the make men look good.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/08/22 11:24 PM
15

How tf is thinking 80% of the opposite gender is below average "going back to reality"? You're being delusional at this point. Men are texting at a higher rate, and obviously they text attractive women more. Which part of that is "delusional" to you?
/r/PurplePillDebate12/08/22 11:22 PM
27

I'm sorry but which is gender is expected to do the courting and the majority of effort in dating again? The complaining comes from the expectations of guys to do the majority of the initial work, approaching, making moves and generally initiating, while the woman isn't really expected to do anything really. Ofc men are annoyed that they have to "level up" for a woman that isn't necessarily a higher level and doesn't need to be. Ofc if you get more attention from the opposite gender you aren't a…
/r/PurplePillDebate12/08/22 11:16 PM
19

You didn't quote men's standards being on a bellcurve funnily enough. The guy read your comment, idk how you know those stats and come to the conclusion it's the men with unrealistic standards.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/08/22 11:09 PM
18

It shows that women see most men as below average and think they're settling even if the man is on the same level as her. That's the definition of delusional lol. You're not even willing to acknowledge the quote lol, the study basically showed men's standards are more realistic than women's.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/08/22 10:53 PM
19

Funny how you conveniently cut off the rest of that paragraph you quoted: "But with the basic ratings so out-of-whack, the two curves together suggest some strange possibilities for the female thought process, the most salient of which is that the average-looking woman has convinced herself that the vast majority of males aren’t good enough for her, but she then goes right out and messages them anyway." So it doesn't look like women don't dwell on thier delusion at all really. Thier standards ar…

How?
/r/PurplePillDebate11/08/22 08:39 AM

Wow looks like the "self improvement" advice for men for dating doesn't work huh?
/r/PurplePillDebate11/08/22 06:33 AM
10

Maybe the reason is because men find it unfair that they have to court you without you expected to put in any effort to court them?
/r/PurplePillDebate11/08/22 06:31 AM
1

Well I'm very sorry that happened to you. I completely condemn those type of men and I'm sure most men do. The internet attracts a lot of extreme people, I've seen a lot of women who are misandrist online but I know that's a minority and all women aren't like that and those bad communities are echo chambers, that's why there's little disagreement there. There are over 3 billion men, and the majority aren't incels or pedos. You've not even met 1% of men. Not to mention, there's tonnes of great me…
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/22 10:19 AM
1

That's just not true in the slightest, the majority of men don't hate women and think rape is bad, idk your own life experiences but I'm sorry if that's not what you experienced from men.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/22 10:02 AM
3

Well no, then that's not the bar then if you miss out a factor then is it?
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/22 09:31 AM
-2

If that's true 99% of men should be easily be able to get a girlfriend and that obviously isn't the case. You're lying, there's other factors needed to meet the bar.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/22 09:30 AM
1

But isn't that on the women then for setting the bar low for themselves? And it only applies to guys already in a relationship, it doesn't work for normal guys who women don't find attractive otherwise any normal guy would find zero trouble getting a relationship lol, I agree it's an awful phrase.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/22 09:24 AM

No it's not. Most men aren't sexually assaulting women. End of.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/22 07:10 AM
0

You haven't proved it then and shifting goalposts from most men to most women have been sexually, ok. 1/4 isn't even a majority, so that doesn't prove most women have been sexually assaulted
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/22 06:59 AM
0

Point is most men and women aren't like that and this is a pretty sexist view to think like that
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/22 06:58 AM
1

Alright sure. You seem pretty cool. Those are guys who are successful tho right? Not all guys
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/22 06:56 AM

That's just not true tho, you're not a guy, so forgive me if I don't really buy your argument.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/22 06:51 AM

Most men don't commit domestic violence and you aren't praised for not doing it jesus
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/22 06:47 AM

I actually want you to prove that most men have sexually assaulted someone, because you are talking nonsense
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/22 06:46 AM
1

So if women aren't as sexless as men, who's the one with the low standards?
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/22 06:45 AM
2

Funny thing is, if dudes kept saying "the bar is on the floor" for women, women would just say "pick better women" lol
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/22 06:44 AM
1

And a lotta women aren't? 🫠
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/22 06:43 AM

Ok this is just plain misandrist Jesus. Opposite of red pill "if a woman isn't an emotionally abusive goldigger she's better than most women"
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/22 06:40 AM
1

I guess that's why men are getting more and more sexless huh? Lmao
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/22 06:38 AM
3

A lot of shitty dudes women are attracted to That's the unspoken part about the bar, it's for attractive men with good enough income, otherwise any man on the street who isn't an asshole is hubby material.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/22 06:36 AM
2

When has these scenarios happened? I've never seen these situations when women say "the bar is on the floor" online.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/22 06:34 AM

You literally agreed with a comment talking about a collective repsonse man shut up lol
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/22 06:28 AM

This is a discussion on abused men and I don't how your elephant in the room changes that reality. One, women can use weapons which levels the playing field, two, a lot of abuse is emotional, and the OP points that out, 3 most men don't use thier full power, aggression matters more than strength in these situations and it's well established that there's gender symmetry in domestic violence https://www.researchgate.net/publication/233717660_Thirty_Years_of_Denying_the_Evidence_on_Gender_Symmetry_…

It's not "being unappreciative" his feelings are valid, especially after hearing that she gave more intimacy to random strangers than thier own partner. I guarantee you wouldn't complain if the genders were reversed and you'd understand why the woman would feel upset This comment explains it well, trashy behaviour in general: https://www.reddit.com/r/PurplePillDebate/comments/wj1eu2/comment/ijfcbhn/

No one waits two months to kiss thier partner unless they're not into them, you're being delusional
/r/PurplePillDebate08/08/22 07:34 PM
10

Sex is supposed to be an intimate act you do with the person you love. The fact that you think having threesomes with strangers and not even wanting to even kiss your partner while telling him about all the good sex you've had with other men is ok is disgusting honestly, you're the porn sick one.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/08/22 06:49 PM

You're dodging the point...

Women see 80% of men as below average, statistics from dating apps told us this "bs" lol. Not exactly controversial to point out that women are picky.

Because feminism has pushed against them when they advocate for men's issues

It seems like you have the misconception. The Men's rights movement has been a thing since the 70/80's, made up of hundreds of organisations. One subreddit is not representative of the movement at all. I've scrolled through 3 pages of posts, only 2/3 out of 50ish mention feminism in the title. You would say it's oppression if feminism pointed out ways women are treated unfairly compared to men, yet you see it as "embellishing" when they do it. They haven't denied female oppression, they've said …
/r/PurplePillDebate06/08/22 09:14 AM
0

MRAs have focused on their own issues most the time, it's just that whoever they try to do any activism, they are opposed by feminists, so that's why they want feminism to not be a part of men's issues.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/08/22 08:37 AM
2

That's just not true, you guys just say we hate women no matter how equal the solution is 🙄
/r/PurplePillDebate06/08/22 08:34 AM
3

Feminism has been incredibly antagonistic to any efforts to help for men's issues, protesting against men's events, ofc MRAs don't like feminism.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/08/22 08:31 AM
1

Feminism have opposed shared custody and gender neutral rape laws. Those things are not a threat to women's rights. They oppose MRA's because they think any activism for men is against women, when it's not. How are those law proposals I mentioned "against women's rights"?
/r/PurplePillDebate06/08/22 08:28 AM

I guess all the attractive men that have beaten and raped women aren't misogynistic then
/r/PurplePillDebate06/08/22 08:26 AM
2

Er because men date down, why can't women?
/r/PurplePillDebate06/08/22 08:15 AM
1

I think the point he's trying to make is that women and men are similar in terms of how they are attracted to people
/r/PurplePillDebate01/08/22 09:24 PM
1

It's obviously harder for men, anyone saying otherwise is in denial. If it wasn't true, then why don't women generally try the man's expected role in dating? Y'know approaching and messaging first, intimating the date, paying for the other person or at least offering. If it was easier to "play the guy" in the relationship, thier role should be easier to fulfill and yet it's clearly not.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/08/22 09:23 PM
6

Average men are not able to get laid much, so whether they're open to it or not is irrelevant. How does that even disprove the fact that it's harder for men? We're talking about relationships anyways not hookups. The stats say that more and more men are getting sexless and more than for women. That's the reality. I think men in the dating world know that. That's the reality.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/08/22 09:20 PM

So can men
/r/PurplePillDebate01/08/22 09:15 PM

You guys can wear skirts no? Applies in workplaces too. And that's just one school lmao, plenty of them allow girls to wear little clothing
/r/PurplePillDebate29/07/22 08:22 PM
6

Why is it a filter if women aren't at least somewhat fixated by it?
/r/PurplePillDebate29/07/22 08:20 PM
1

The situation is not much different in the US, women can show off more skin than men
/r/PurplePillDebate29/07/22 08:03 PM
9

Are you serious? Men aren't even allowed to wear shorts at the workplace or at school when it's boiling hot. Boys in England literally resorted to wearing skirts because that was allowed lol. Women can wear dresses that are more revealing in all those situations.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/07/22 03:20 PM

That's very subjective

Men's preferences are based on biology and considered shallow. This should be no different.

You would not be saying this if the genders were reversed lol
/r/PurplePillDebate29/07/22 10:42 AM

It's very controversial to say women are shallow (or anything slightly negative about women). I got perma banned from a subreddit and got called an "incel MRA" by the mods for saying your take lol

Thank god an end to your stupidity
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/22 11:20 PM

Your example of toxic masculinity is women shaming men! I'm actually getting angry how much you're lying to me rn. What is shamed is the issue, you're saying we don't encourage girls to be girly?? Is girliness not associated with femininity?? Pls stop talking for both our sakes.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/22 11:11 PM
2

I literally gave an example and you didn't say it exists and you are a liar. If you think it didn't exist, then you wouldn't have said men can't do toxic femininity, you would've said toxic femininity doesn't exist as a concept. Men shaming women for not being girly, that's an obvious one. Toxic masculinity/femininity is about rigid gender roles being enforced, not just men/women behaving badly. Even your example for toxic masculinity wasn't men behaving badly https://www.reddit.com/r/PurplePill…
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/22 10:51 PM
2

Right so you're a hypocrite. And a lier. You just said men can't uphold it and now you're saying that he opposite. Flat out even denying it exists. I'm done with your nonsense.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/22 10:33 PM
2

Yes. I'm showing that you thinking that toxic masculinity can be held by men or women but men can't hold toxic femininity. Hypocrite. 🤦‍♂️ What the shaming is about is because of the female gender role, no different to shaming men for crying. I guess by your stupid logic that isn't toxic masculinity bc shaming isn't part of the masculine gender role.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/22 10:19 PM
2

Everywhere on Twitter. You literally got given an example in this thread stop lying 🙄, I'm convinced you're actually a troll, no sentient person is this thick, and this much of a walking stereotype. Goodbye
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/22 10:15 PM
2

Ah you are a hypocrite then "toxic masculinity isn't "men" its a philosophy of what masculinity is that can be held by men or women and hurts both men and women.". Your words, not even suprising lol.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/22 10:13 PM
2

What? I'm taking about men shaming dominant women, stop talking about other things to deflect
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/22 10:09 PM
2

It's not helpful when women just use it to mean anything they disagree with lol
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/22 10:08 PM
1

Yes because femininity is coded as submissive, so answer my question. Is that toxic femininity?
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/22 09:20 PM
3

If you're using it as a generic insult, you aren't identifying anything
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/22 09:19 PM
2

Mostly women use the incel insult. What? No go back to fds
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/22 09:18 PM
2

You didn't even acknowledge his point...
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/22 08:43 PM
2

Err, mostly women shame men by calling them incel lol
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/22 08:42 PM
3

So is men shaming women for being too dominant, "toxic femininity"? If you aren't willing to go both ways here you're a hypocrite.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/22 08:41 PM
4

That's a pretty stupid response lmao
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/22 08:38 PM
1

Ok you're stupid and creepy then
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/22 09:50 AM
1

Right so you haven't acknowledged it then? Nothing I said was about reputation.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/22 08:01 AM
1

Are you gonna actually acknowledge what I say or just repeat the same point over and over?
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/22 06:46 AM
2

That sounds like a terrible idea lol
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/22 06:29 AM
2

Well that's just rude of you. Bye
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/22 06:28 AM
1

Err because it affects how they view those men? It affects how men fare in social situations if some women automatically think he's creepy because of his looks. Like, is slut shaming harmless when it's just said among the boys or something?
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/22 06:25 AM
3

The point is, it's pretty hard for guys in dating, and treating it like a job is guaranteed to make you miserable. You should treat it like social thing so that you're in a good mindset, and also focus on bettering your life outside dating so you aren't desperate.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/22 06:19 AM
2

Yeah notice how they feel like they're expected to do something? Literally no one asked them to do that lmao, what kinda person has this thought process after someone shares their problems. I don't think like that when women share thier problems.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/22 06:16 AM
1

Literally look at this thread, women don't care lmao and are saying it's all the men's fault, you're doing the same, no one is talking about rape. The lack of empathy is obvious, and it's very obvious women don't care or acknowledge the struggle men have dating. Take a poll here, on Reddit or anywhere else you'll come to the same conclusion. They'll just think it's all the men's fault.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/22 06:14 AM
1

Right? Like just calling them ugly/short is actually better than calling them misogynist creeps
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/22 06:08 AM
4

The point is there's a double standard, and guys that put effort still don't get girls so yh the concept treating dating like a job is gonna make anyone miserable. It should be fun, I never saw getting a girlfriend as a chore.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/22 06:07 AM
3

Me too, I'm taking a break, you with me?
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/22 06:05 AM
2

I'm very disturbed by the lack of empathy that women have on this thread. "Err so so what? What am I supposed to do?? Men just need to accept they'll die alone". Err no one's expecting you to do anything, just to have basic human empathy??? Like when I hear women discussing their problems, I don't think "err what am I supposed to do, this is clearly the women's fault anyways"? I sympathize with that. You guys hate red pillers and incels but act the exact same as them smh
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/22 06:02 AM
7

No, because it's literally the guy's personal experience, which you would've understood if you bothered to read it. You don't get to say what it is when you can't even read it.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/22 05:55 AM
1

Err yeah, they literally spoke about it in the guys example, why wouldn't they speak about it? Calling someone creepy is not harmless, it's very rude and it does have an effect on how they are treated. Omg you're justifying it? No that's awkward, but never creepy. That's just poor behaviour to do that. Well if the bar is that low for "creepy", then what are women thinking in social interactions?
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/22 05:50 AM
2

Nice circular logic lmao "How to not be called creepy" "Don't be a creep"
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/22 05:44 AM
6

Human empathy is a good thing? By this logic, why should I care about women's problems if it doesn't change anything?
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/22 05:42 AM
5

Women don't have to work on getting dates like a job do they? Nor are they expected to. Calling dating " a job" is utterly depressing, and I say this as a guy with a girlfriend.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/22 05:41 AM
21

Urgh, I'm sick to death of the "just world fallacy" you're displaying. Dating success is not related to morality. Plenty of misogynist assholes gets plenty of women, and plenty of lovely guys, that have worked a lot on themselves have little to no success. You don't even know men's standards, barely any of them "go for supermodels". You're acting like women magically sense "working on themselves" lol, they aren't oracles. No one is expecting you to do anything, just to have a bit of human empath…
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/22 05:37 AM
5

And plenty more don't.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/22 05:29 AM
8

Thats not worth the effort lmao, and I'm saying this as a guy with a girlfriend
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/22 05:28 AM

You've called him a terrible person for no reason, why should he (or anyone on this sub) bother to listen to you?
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/22 05:27 AM
1

Literally a men's issue, stop pretending like it's not even related to the topic lmao
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/22 05:26 AM

Yes. Then why are you here asking questions if you don't care? Why are you being such a dick? The guy was literally disproving your point and you couldn't even be bothered to read the evidence.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/22 05:24 AM

I literally told you there were negative comments in the women's thread, the fact that you ignored that and focused on the few negative ones here shows that you're a misandrist yes
/r/PurplePillDebate26/07/22 11:06 PM

You conveniently left out that the vast majority of comments here are supportive, and there were negative posts, you're a misandrist for painting men as bad and cherry picking evidence to support that
/r/PurplePillDebate26/07/22 10:11 PM

What are you on about, most responses here are real ones without negativity, it's not telling, you're just a misandrist lol
/r/PurplePillDebate26/07/22 08:48 PM

The obvious ones, sexual assault, rape, domestic violence, and also being valued primarily for looks.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/07/22 08:46 PM

I think basic human respect is a normal expectation every sane human has, and if you don't which it seems like you don't, then you're a human doormat. I pity you actually.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/07/22 01:33 PM

Wtf are you talking about? Men are taught to do that because it's good manners. Not because they get something back. Most people don't expect something back. People that shit on people opening the door are in the wrong, not trying to excuse them. So basically you are describing a situation where the women can disrespect men and have done and and you're saying women are the ones not getting respect?? This is so silly, yes, women can have a meltdown because of that, there's literally a name for th…

/r/PurplePillDebate26/07/22 12:46 PM

The point is men are expected to invite in the first place
/r/PurplePillDebate26/07/22 12:27 PM

Err I think to not be shit on is very low expectation
/r/PurplePillDebate26/07/22 12:25 PM

Lmao men try way more than women what are you talking about? And no men's standards are way lower. You are not a man, stop speaking for us.

MRAs are the movement, and guess what? They are shit on and thier events are shut down and protested against by women. No one is expecting women to do it for us, just to support men's movements like men are expected to support yours.

"No, that’s not true. Men complain that no women want them, but they really mean the model-type." I'm so tired of women saying this bs. No different than incels saying women just want Chad. No, most men are fine with average women, case in point, just look around lol. How many men have a model gf?

And how would you know?
/r/PurplePillDebate17/07/22 09:40 AM

That's based on studies that count self harm injuries even when there's no suicidical intent behind them. And well, more severe methods indicate that they have a higher urge to commit suicide.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/07/22 10:19 PM

You are assuming a lot of things there, the guy just said he won't be in a relationship with a woman he doesn't find attractive
/r/PurplePillDebate15/07/22 05:25 PM
7

Who tf goes into a relationship with a person they don't find attractive? Like that's the bare minimum for relationship material lol
/r/PurplePillDebate15/07/22 05:14 PM
4

So you admit it's an overgeneralization then? Alright
/r/PurplePillDebate10/07/22 01:59 PM
7

Then those people's standards are low, not in general
/r/PurplePillDebate10/07/22 01:58 PM

It's a dumb phrase because it's a self own for the women using it. It shows that they have a bad taste in men that they've set the bar that low for themselves.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/07/22 06:58 AM
1

What an insulting way to describe fatherhood
/r/PurplePillDebate10/07/22 06:53 AM

And again who's the people praising men for that? Often women. And yet women say that as a diss against men??
/r/PurplePillDebate10/07/22 06:53 AM

The wage gap isn't real and men shouldn't be expected to pay on the first date, and the commenters are doing a massive cop out with the "whoever invites the other on the date should pay" because they know damn well men are expected to do the asking
/r/PurplePillDebate29/06/22 11:17 PM
5

Ikr... 80% of men are considered unattractive to women and yet we're supposed to pretend that men and women have the exact same dating success lol
/r/PurplePillDebate29/06/22 12:14 AM
8

This just isn't true, men are still expected to adopt the traditional male gender role for dating, making the first move, deciding/organizing the date, pay for the bill etc. Bumble was designed to force women to make the first move and that failed, women just gave a one word reponse and waited for the guy to start the convo.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/06/22 12:08 AM
1

Women don't need to lower thier standards, men do, and even that's not enough for some average guys.

Imagine trying to frame the increased possibility of finding the love of your life as a bad thing lmfao
/r/PurplePillDebate29/06/22 12:04 AM

🙄, what a dumb response, you know damn well nothing would happen if you did nothing, and if men as a group took that approach, the human race would die out within a generation. So no, stop blaming men you weirdo, we were put in this situation without any control. It's bc of gender roles that are deeply rooted for everyone. Idk why you have such a hard time understanding the unfairness of that. No one's putting a gun to your head stopping you from conceding that men have it unfair in this area y'…
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/22 11:11 PM

That's the point, who is expected to make the moves? It's not girls. The game is rigged at the start for men.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/22 10:58 PM
3

Nah you're not really answering his point, girls don't have to do any of this work guys have to, and are not expected to sacrifice to be deemed worthy. You're justifying the unjustifiable.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/22 10:45 PM
0

Perhaps, but the point is it's disturbing all the same, and a human life is priceless, biohazard clean up costs pale in comparison. Idk I don't like this theory, implying that you're a "better" suicide victim if you use a less messy method.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/06/22 12:44 PM

I'm pretty sure, most footballers are happily married lol, hardly "transactional"

/r/PurplePillDebate23/06/22 07:05 AM
0

Well yh men are still expected to be the primary breadwinner so they work longer hours, and women are still expected to do the childcare so they earn less. Also, isn't the second point based on perceptions from women? And doesn't include chores guys do like garden work and fixing stuff?

/r/PurplePillDebate20/06/22 10:25 AM

That's not the same as calling them creepy, are you deliberately missing the point or??
/r/PurplePillDebate20/06/22 10:23 AM
3

The whole point is that ugly women don't get called creepy. They still have it better than ugly men in that regard
/r/PurplePillDebate20/06/22 10:22 AM
1

"If someone “Me Too’d” you there is likely a reason for it." Yes there are definitely motives for false allegations.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/06/22 10:19 AM
2

Why do guys so outraged by the suggestion that men have had interactions with not nice women? You act like they don't exist, sorry to break it to you, but women aren't perfect, and you don't need to shame men by saying "well I'm good and and I'm a woman, so all women are like me!". It's really strange. You get to talk about bad experiences with men, and yet we can't with women?
/r/PurplePillDebate20/06/22 10:18 AM
2

Yet when Mr Darcy does it, women find it really attractive lol
/r/PurplePillDebate20/06/22 10:13 AM

You're talking about a different thing, it's clear he's talking about normal human interaction seen as creepy bc the guy is unattractive
/r/PurplePillDebate20/06/22 10:13 AM

So you're saying a creepy misogynist is better if he's hot?

There's a difference between a "bad boy" and an abuser
/r/PurplePillDebate16/06/22 11:38 PM

Being murdered is a very tiny minority of dv cases, most cases are mutual abuse and and in unreciprocated abuse, women are the perpetrator most of the time. And pls, you have no idea what his previous relationships were like, abusers aren't dumb, they won't make it obvious they've abused thier partners, often the bruises are covered with make up
/r/PurplePillDebate16/06/22 09:57 PM
0

Nah, women are equal in moderate violence, and stop acting like domestic violence is fine unless you die. Women can also use weapons so it's not like men have nothing to worry about either. Also, domestic abusers have literally been in relationships, so using relationships as a metric for vetting out abusive men is stupid.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/06/22 09:10 PM

Err no they don't lmao what a stupid comment. Men aren't complaining for the sake of it, it's bc dating as a man is pretty grim

Sounds like it would get the woman free drinks lmao

Billy Eilish went on an interview and trashed "ugly guys". It's not a gender specific thing to be trashy about looks. Also you're shifting the goalposts from ratings
/r/PurplePillDebate14/06/22 10:19 PM

Why do some women think they know all men? Lmao it's hilarious, you don't, not even close to knowing 1% of us.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/06/22 10:17 PM

Good post, you've also managed to rustle someone and they think you're larping lmao, some women can never admit that dating them isn't perfect
/r/PurplePillDebate14/06/22 10:14 PM
31

Why do women pretend that they don't rate men base on attractiveness as if they think every guy is the same amount of attractiveness? Everyone does it subconsciously. Looks != Pleasing in terms of doing things in s relationship
/r/PurplePillDebate14/06/22 10:08 PM
27

Don't you guys blame men if they keep going for gold digger types? If you're going for that type of man, then it's on you, the solution is to stop going for that typa guy instead of closing yourself off to men in general
/r/PurplePillDebate14/06/22 10:06 PM
0

What are you talking? You wrote a long ass post, I just said you have no idea what guys do as a whole so you're opinion is not worth listening, and gave a reason why to show people your post is dumb
/r/PurplePillDebate10/06/22 10:18 PM

You've met less than 1% of men. You're not even a man. Opinion discarded.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/06/22 07:44 PM

The post also says "If you bring up any issues that men deal with in dating on social media and especially Reddit, even if you have success, women and s!mps will call you an !ncel." And why aren't women allowed to be criticised? You are a feminist you guys criticise men all the time
/r/PurplePillDebate10/06/22 09:42 AM
6

It's pretty rude to say to someone for no reason
/r/PurplePillDebate10/06/22 07:55 AM
10

The question is, why is anyone talking about men's issues automatically assumed to be hating all women? Most of the time, women aren't even mentioned, yet it's assumed you hate women, does that indicate a bias people have?
/r/PurplePillDebate10/06/22 07:54 AM

Basically you're telling them no advice, just to exist lmao, yh that's what they been doing, clearly aint worked irl so they come on the internet
/r/PurplePillDebate09/06/22 10:13 PM

Just bc the top 1% I'm control of companies and stuff are men, it doesn't mean men as a whole are in control of everything. The vast majority are normal people

And yet "I wish" is seen as entitlement when Person B does it
/r/PurplePillDebate07/06/22 08:05 AM

And that's still entitlement on Person A's part, they feel entitled for Person B to act the same when their feelings have changed. Person B doesn't owe friendship to Person A.

Nah, just don't like the idea of testing people
/r/PurplePillDebate28/05/22 05:38 PM

Er the OP of the post? You seem like a red flag by asking men to "prove" to you
/r/PurplePillDebate28/05/22 05:20 PM

Sex is part of a relationship, and most people ( men and women!) aren't gonna wait 9 months for you, in that case yes they value it more than you.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/05/22 05:18 PM
2

Why did you assume I said immediate sex? I didn't, you're the one expecting men to have no sex in a relationship lol
/r/PurplePillDebate28/05/22 05:14 PM

So guys in relationships don't get to have sex? Doesn't sound great lol.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/05/22 04:52 PM

You realise you can want both? Why do you assume relationship = no sex??
/r/PurplePillDebate28/05/22 04:37 PM

So stop acting like that's the case then.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/05/22 10:33 PM

So? That doesn't mean anything when you're trying to talk about men and women irl does it? Stop trying to generalise men based on the opinion of a few
/r/PurplePillDebate25/05/22 10:33 PM

That doesn't mean it's true does it? So stop acting that all men are like what one subreddit says lmao, actually talk to men

"The only reason a man is willing to wait is not because that's what he wants but because that's what he believes the woman wants and he believes that's the way to her pussy." Yeah no. Men can feel like saving themselves for the right one too. It's not all about the woman thinks. And even if he was, isn't compromise a good thing? Women are people on equal terms with you, not things you control. He can absolutely stand up for himself by expressing how he feels but you can't force women to have se…

Why is everyone in this comment section being so obtuse?? It's obvious why dudes are upset. She's attracted enough for others to have sex with them but not with him. That's not hard to understand why they're upset, like even a child can understand why. It sucks to feel like you're not sexually desired by your partner and she was for her exes. I feel like that's a bare minimum in a relationship. Imagine if a guy refused to do anything sexual with his gf and made her wait, you lot would suddenly u…

Fboys you mean, the average man is not doing that lmaoo, not even able to get in that position if they tried.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/05/22 09:40 PM
2

Nooo, but it's not a bad thing to want to have sex and to feel sexually desired by women you're dating, I feel like that's a bare minimum in a relationship lmao, if she's not attracted to you sexually, then what's the point of being in a romantic relationship?
/r/PurplePillDebate22/05/22 09:38 PM
3

How would you know she finds you sexy if she shows no signs tho? If I got no reaction after 5 dates, I'd feel like she isn't attracted to me at all and that would bum me out. This strategy of "waiting" dumb and would make both parties feel like crap.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/05/22 09:36 PM
1

That's not ridiculous, "playing it safe" is far better than being with a fboy, and especially girls who've been with those type of men will be interested in settling for a nice man. People settle all the time.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/05/22 09:34 PM

Not with an abortion, safe haven or giving up for adoption she's not
/r/PurplePillDebate18/05/22 08:38 PM

Didn't the girl chose to fuck the man too? She don't have to pay for it, why should the man? And opting out happens BEFORE the child is born
/r/PurplePillDebate18/05/22 08:24 PM
1

Well then that's on her then isn't it she chose to not opt out no? Why should the man have to be responsible if he doesn't want to on her decision? Adding opting out of fatherhood would reduce the number of estranged kids btw. Yeah dumb men fuck dumb women, why are you expecting different? And I love you you describe sex as something men do to women as if women have no agency or responsibility for this lmao.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/05/22 08:23 PM
1

Except they get the choice not to, and many don't and you support that, so you're not consistent with your logic at all. Ok? Doesn't that further support my point? It would reduce the amount of single mothers with no child support if men could opt out. And yet it still happens, so why aren't you up in arms about that? Deadbeat dads are also rare in comparison to dads raising thier own kids yet you're still crying about it. Yes, which is entirely the choice of the mother to carry it to term. Fath…
/r/PurplePillDebate18/05/22 06:05 PM
1

Cool so by your logic, shouldn't women also stick it out and take care of the child? And you still aren't listening to me, I said OPTING OUT of fatherhood has nothing to do with the reproduction of a baby. The man is not the pregnant one. Cool, doesn't actually imply that men can't opt of of fatherhood tho, the woman still has total control. If you don't listen to me properly again just won't bother this time.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/05/22 05:57 PM
1

Motherhood RESULTS FROM THE REPRODUCTIVE PROCESS. Shut up sexist.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/05/22 05:52 PM
1

You are again acting like opting out of fatherhood has anything to do with the reproductive process. This happens BEFORE childbirth. And opting out of fatherhood isn't enacting responsibility? Ok misandrist. Nah, you're just a misandrist.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/05/22 05:51 PM
1

Menial financial support is not childcare. That's not fair on the kid. And if the man decided he didn't want to be a father before it's born, it's better for all parties if he's allowed to opt out of fatherhood. Women get to opt out. So should men. Simple as. You pay taxes because women take abortions, put babies in safe havens and put them up for adoption, I'm sure the men aren't exactly gonna make much of a difference to your taxes.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/05/22 05:48 PM
1

Ok so you're pro life for men pro choice for women, glad we cleared that up misandrist. Why isn't it consent to motherhood for women? And don't say health reasons, that makes it even worse that they chose to have sex then. Or they could've not had sex, funny you only say this for men. And opting out of fatherhood isn't responsible if you can't provide for it? Many women are supportive of financial abortions, bitter weirdo. Tell men that sex is consent to fatherhood, I'm sure that'll go down a tr…
/r/PurplePillDebate18/05/22 05:44 PM
1

"the ones that give it up because they know they wouldn’t be able to do anything for the child" Literally applies to men too. At least with them, they didn't get a choice, so it's not like they could do anything to get out of it after conception.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/05/22 05:41 PM
1

That's not a good reason. Them choosing not being a father doesn't mean they need to get a say over the pregnancy. Sex is not consent to parenthood for both genders. And you literally argued for abortions so that's an extremely ironic comment lol. Ig those women are "piglets" to you?
/r/PurplePillDebate18/05/22 05:39 PM
1

And women still get the choice to do what they want if men opt out so what are you even arguing? Men opting out has nothing to do with the reproductive process because they weren't part of it anyways.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/05/22 05:32 PM
1

I'm not talking about birth control, I'm talking about opting out of parenthood after conception. Women get to do that all the time. Why can't men? Sure, and men opting out doesn't change the fact that women still have the choice to keep it or not.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/05/22 05:30 PM
1

What? No it happens. And no, you're sexist if you support abortions for women but tell men to get vasectomies. Like I said, love how pro choicer churn out pro life conservative arguments when it comes to men.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/05/22 05:21 PM
1

You're clearly not pro choice if you're making pro life arguments for men lmao "I don't care she needed to make that decision before sex" is the same argument against women having abortions. Women don't need to make it before conception so why do men? Just sounds like double standards to me.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/05/22 05:19 PM
1

Why shouldn't it be legal? You haven't provided an actual reason. That's illegal. And technically they should be in jail. Women can literally do the same lmao, but without charges or jail time. Mother's can also abandon it at a safe haven and give it up for adoption, they get all the options, fathers don't.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/05/22 04:53 PM
1

But that wouldn't make sense, it wouldn't cover men who didn't want to be a father after the woman is pregnant. It's not a life at that point so why shouldn't he get the right to make the decision then? Women do. Heck even AFTER the child is born women can still abandon it at a safe haven.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/05/22 04:51 PM
0

You're not listening. I never said men should have the decision of having the baby, just that they should be allowed to opt of fatherhood before the baby is born (if it is).
/r/PurplePillDebate18/05/22 03:52 PM
2

I'm talking about opting out of fatherhood. Not pregnancy.

I don't think you know what "deleting" means, I addressed pregnancy. No it's not equal, that's the problem! Men don't get the equivalent of opting out of parenthood before it is born.

Ok what country are you from where this is a thing then?

That's the courts decision if they see you as an unfit parent which doesn't involve the father's consent, that's not the same as a father personally signing away his own rights as a father before the baby is born, they can't be taken from the birth certificate. There's no current mechanism for "opting out of fatherhood", hence why's there's a debate about it in the first place.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/05/22 02:25 PM

Women have abortions. This undermines your whole point. They can also abandon the baby at a safe haven or give it for adoption, are these mother's disgusting to you too? The whole argument is men should be able to opt of parenthood BEFORE it's born, it's then up to the women to choose what to do. Ironic how you're blaming men for "lacking accountability when women have all these options to opt out of parenthood and men don't? And why are you describing pregnancy as something women have no say or…

Lmao I love how pro choicer churn out pro life conservative arguments when it comes to men "don't have sex if you don't want to be pregnant". Your same logic is used to argue why abortion shouldn't be a thing. Men should have the choice to opt of parenthood, heck even after birth women can abandon the baby at a safe haven.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/05/22 02:12 PM

You can't do that. Nice way to be a dick tho lol.

So the solution is to give one demographic more opportunities than other? "All I'm seeing is the assurance that equally qualified women are offered the same opportunities as their male counterparts." Well you're an idiot then because selective hiring policies is literally discrimination.

I don't understand why women are so in denial of thier dating advantage. It's so obvious, all the stats show it, they lose nothing by admitting it and yet they still don't lol. If you had the choice of having to approach every potential partner and makes moves in hope for them to feel the same or wait for them to approach you, you'd chose the latter option everytime. It's just so much easier and less stressful.

Also on you to not choose men who chose to have an unequal emotional support? Why doesn't the argument work there? Why do women get to complain about toxic men, yet when men do it about women, women also get to blame the men instead, telling them to pick better?
/r/PurplePillDebate03/05/22 11:41 AM

Women say they're taking on the role of therapist when they're expected to care for thier man's feelings lol

Because people on a subreddit and or care about men's issues unfortunately aren't representative of a population, and idk I'd you've noticed but anyone who's supporting men's issues generally gets ridiculed and receive little support, ie from people like you. You clearly don't because you don't support people who do, you say they don't actually care. Imagine if a guy said tha…

Do you say this to people talking about women being abused? Do you have to start a charity for your point to be taken seriously? And also, the people who have been trying to do that received bomb threats and harassment from women shelters that they had to flee the country.

I've literally seen a fairly viral tweet chastising men for thinking looking multiple times is a sign of interest. Seems safer to assume no interest, because men genuinely can't tell whether it's a coincidence or an actual sign of interest.

By that logic, isn't anything attribute or acting in any way on dates "performative"? Putting on make up or grooming your beard is "performative attractiveness", because you don't always look like that. Telling jokes is "performative humour", because you're just doing that to get laid, you're not actually cracking jokes 24/7. Everything both genders do on a date then is performative to an extent because you're trying to signal to your date that you're attractive, and trying to show the best vers…

You've missed the point of that comment if you think it's "performative". The whole point was that they were genuinely nice but still struggled with women. And that's an uncomfortable truth for you so you had to rationalize it by saying it's performative.

The way feminists (Mary KOSS,NOW organization) excluded male rape victims from the legal definition of rape, by defining it as forced penetration is shameful, there's a great comment about it here: https://www.reddit.com/r/greentext/comments/k30ui0/anons_ex_girl/ge0koa0?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x&context=3 Honestly it's sickening some of the stuff feminism does tbh. I think you're taking my arguments way too personally and inserting a lot of unfounded assumptions here. Firstly, how am I meant to read the mind of an online stranger? You're being disingenuous here. And why do you have to pit fears against each other. I was talking about the fear of false accusations, and you're trying to downplay them by comparing it to fears of rape which wasn't being discussed initially. This isn't the oppression Olympics here. And I never implied there aren't precautions t…

So easy to say men are overreacting when you're not the one affected. Y'know my parents outright refused for me to share a dorm room with a girl? Their reasoning was the risk of if she accused me of abuse, I wouldn't have anything to defend myself. When I was little, the door in front of our house was open, and a little girl walked inside. The parents of that girl accused me of doing things to her, I actually didn't notice her at the time. Luckily they didn't do anything with that and my parents…

Yeah it deters people from interacting or working with each other, which isn't good. Scaring innocent people of being falsely accused doesn't deter rapists from raping. This isn't the solution you think it is.

MeToo started off as a good thing, then the people "outed" were more just guilty of bad dates, like Aziz, then over time it became apparent the leaders had no principles when they shunned Tara Reade because she had accusations against Biden, and they wanted Biden in. It showed as long as the man in power had the politics they agreed with, accusations from women against him don't matter. Also when prominent feminists like Judith Butler and academics defended a feminist professor who was accused o…

Weirdly, I agree with the fact that there are rigid expectations of men in society, which is what feminists claim toxic masculinity means. But then I ask them, why don't you call it 'toxic gender norms' or something like that? It's a really confusing use of language that most people would get the wrong idea from reading the word, and think it's saying toxic parts of masculinity. I also find it ironic that feminists are the ones who talk about the harmful effects of gendered language and somehow …
