Perhaps we're talking around each other. I disagree with the idea that you need an IOI or sign of attraction before approaching. I'm not saying I do notice all signs. I do try to keep a look out for the most common ones - eye contact + smiling. The vast majority of my approaches don't include this, especially during current times. I do agree that awareness and IOIs is best way to have a conversation with someone and have a successful interaction. He said he noticed a cute girl in front of him wh…

By your definition, using dating apps is creepy. There is nothing wrong for the biological need for human connection and meeting people of opposite sex. I do believe cold approaching is getting to know a woman naturally, in fact in some cultures it's still very common and pre-tinder it was even more widespread. At bars and clubs, some people only go to meet potential partners. Before dating apps, as kids I would meet girls with friends at the mall, parties, school events. I know some girls would…

Assume attraction, but verify it by doing things like seeing how she looks at you, whether she laughs at your jokes, makes time to see you 1 on 1, and whether holding hands is comfortable for both of you. So yes, she likes you.

This sub naturally attracts noobs or shy folks or even socially developing. As someone gets good at game, most veterans here age out of the community after they've reached the level of success they wanted. Cold approaches actually require some signs of attraction from the woman/man before you officially approach. Cold approaches don't require anything but the willingness to actually approach. It's also not common that you'll get signs of attraction. Maybe awareness, not attraction. There are som…

It's creepy to try and talk to women in public by asking a harmless question? Let's not devalue the word. Also 99% of people don't care, don't notice you, or won't remember you whether you approach them or not.

Is this a form of CBT?

You make some good points Tyler, but quite simply daygame is funner than Tinder. Of course, I'll always try to tweak and improve my online profiles, but idk if it'll ever become the passive source for getting dates like I'd want it to be. Swiping gets old quickly. Also day game is personally a lot more enjoyable than text conversations. During corona it seems like girls I'm talking to from online are being a bit more difficult to get out, which is understandable, but even from those that are act…

Yo, no need to make a thread for every insecurity about approaching you have. Read the sidebar / FAQ. Also I can't remember the last time a woman asked me what I was doing in a certain setting like that from a cold approach. You're a person, you meet people all the time. You're a man, you meet women, too. Even if they do ask you, don't answer like you did above and handle it like any other shit test. There's nothing wrong with meeting people. If your body language & demeanor shows you as calm & …

A 1:1 in person interaction is much more intimate than the depersonalized experience of swiping right. Even if they swipe right on Tinder, you're 1 guy in a list of probably dozens if not 100+. You're competing with them, her friends, and whatever else grabs her attention on her phone. In an in person interaction you can have her undivided attention & much longer. Also just the dynamics of online game, women are choosing you more than you are choosing them. Even an average / below average girl h…

It's up to him. He's mentioned he's working aside from this and I think that he won't be staying in the country for too long. like a lot of people, i'm frustrated he's reached a plateau, but now's the time for him to adapt. Daygame even for people who are great at it, is very difficult and a 15% success rate would be impressive. But you prob won't meet attractive women otherwise unless you do well on dating apps.

are you out of school, dude? if i lived my life like this, I probably would never cold approach, especially since covid is going nowhere. there's enough things in life with a job, friends, other responsibilities where adding anything new in requires some deliberate though & action.

Today seems like a big day for him in trying new stuff. He's escalated to going for number or making plans again and tried going direct and added a few more openers. This is slower than I or a lot of other people would like, but I think he was just sticking with the coaching program he was using for a while. There's some more adjustments he can make, but this is a start.

Who says he isn't working on SMV? You can do multiple things as once. I also always find it unconvincing when people say work on your SMV before approaching. Like there are men out there with trainwrecks for personal lives who still are consistently in and out of relationships like they're changing their pants. It really matters more what your personal tolerance is for getting rejected frequently.

Just wanted to say man, your challenge has been really inspiring to me and I've been cold approaching more frequently myself in part due to your posts. I'm glad you're trying out new things (def try direct approach more often), success isn't linear and you're still pretty early in the journey. Keep at it.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
