I agree that stealthing should be illegal, however, how is one to prove that there was/wasn't consent? Would removing the condom in an obvious manner suffice, or is verbal consent required? What if it falls off or falls askew, and the guy doesn't quite put it back on, or the woman tightly holds the guy and prevents him from putting it back on? We either need to hash out these specific cases or create a fair and unambiguous framework that people can fuck in.

I'd have an immense problem with it if it were true. My point is that I do not believe the 20% sexual assault statistic to be remotely true.

So, with your logic you’re saying that women being raped means they shouldn’t be enrolling in university? I mean I'd directly state that, yes. I encourage men to think long and hard, at a minimum, before they get married, because there's a very significant chance of getting divorced and getting economically destroyed. I encourage all people to avoid bad neighborhoods at night because there is a chance, let's be generous and call it 10%, of getting mugged/robbed. Therefore, I'd beg any and all wo…

Yeah it's quite insane. Forget the wooing, romancing, and all that, the expectations for career success are simply not realistic. It's a truism that we can't all be 1%ers or even 5%ers or even 10%ers in terms of wealth--that's just math. And frankly if you have a job AND a business, you're probably doing pretty well for yourself. This is slightly off topic, but I realized when I hit a salary of about 80k a year, money made little difference to me. I now make more than that at my day job and I'm …

It is as precisely as funny as #RapeAllWomen. Although if we were truly devious, we'd retaliate with #RapeAllHotWomen and if confronted, say something like, "Why are you so upset? We're not talking about you."

Yeah, the only real way to prove consent was given is to film the entire encounter and what led up to it (to provide context) from several angles. Obviously this is not realistic. We need to trust people and give them the benefit of the doubt, and understand that mistakes don't mean that rape occurred, listen when no means no, and frankly back away if the other party isn't interested.

One of the funny things is that the article blames men for increasingly focusing less on careers, while women focus increasingly more. It's like... yeah. That makes sense. And it's wise. I've had some very demanding jobs over the years and some very easy ones. I personally need something that's challenging and satisfying, but I prefer not to do it more than 50ish hours a week. Call me crazy for it if you want. I don't care.

Many do when it comes to thing like this. If I say that I'm walking down the street and I see a black man approaching, I'd cross the street to stay away, I'd be called a racist--and rightly so. If a woman says she'd cross the street to get away from an approaching man, she's called wise.

I really worry about what the job market will look like in a generation or so. There's already a significant gender gap in college... what's our society going to look like if we have an even bigger incidence of men without economic prospects, or romantic prospects, because, as we know, women do not date down?

Literally all criminal laws are ways in which the government controls a man's body far more than it controls a woman's, since it's indisputed that men are more likely to be found guilty and when found guilty, are punished much more harshly than women. Then there's the draft. True, we don't use it, but I bet if I were to advocate a reproductive draft, where we register women to bear children for the government but promise not to use it unless we really need to, I'd probably get some pretty aggres…

Interestingly, I think male DNC candidates for Pres (and VP) have a very, very strong EEOC discrimination claim. Though qualified from the job, they were excluded from consideration due to their gender. Obviously none of them are going to file and possibly torpedo their party, but I think it'd be pretty open and shut. It's like me opening a company and saying, I will hire only a male vice president.

I think women just don't sympathize with the issue because let's face it, if a woman has a baby, it's pretty much hers (neglecting perhaps the possibility of IVF swapping, which I don't think has ever happened, anywhere, thus far). So the analogy I like to draw is to being swapped at birth... suppose a woman had a baby at a hospital with a roughly 2-10% incidence of accidentally swapping babies. Before she left the hospital, you'd only assume and hope that she'd want to verify that her baby is i…

NOTHING happens 100% of the time though. (Unless you're a Sith.) And it's not quite consent, is it, if there's an incredible an unavoidable amount of social pressure weighing down on you to act a certain way. Just as we accept that there are pressures on women to act, look, and dress a certain way, we also ought to accept that there is a pressure on men to provide and protect.

I hear you, however it is absolutely a men's rights issue that men are expected (even by many who would consider themselves "feminists" or "progressives") to foot the bill for... just about everything. His money is their money, her money is her money and that sort of thing.

I know this is meant with humor, but it does make you wonder... most of us tend towards dating a single race (for various reasons). In my case it's simply because of availability, there just aren't that many classy non-white women where I'm from. It's stressful and scary and exhausting and no one really believes you, not even you. In a sufficiently bizarre and stressful situation, you have a tendency to gaslight yourself and believe it's you who's the problem, because the alternative--that you're in a fucked up and unwinnable situation--is terrifying!

This article not-so-subtly lambastes single parenthood--or, to be less politically correct, single motherhood. That's not going to win you many brownie points in left-wing circles. FFS the article itself says that back in the 60s, the guy who pointed out the problem of a lack of intact black families was crucified by the left as a racist. Thus, we can assess that thinking on the left is that fathers are a nice to have, not a gotta have.

My mentor recently said something to me which really underlines what you've said about how toxic men choose leaders. Men outside generally don't care about other men getting accused unless it happens to them. That kind of unity in gender you will only see in feminism.
