I have never experienced, read or held this point of view.

Ive been paying for life insurance since I was 30, I would say 43 is leaving it late. What is the point in staying in your relationship? What are you benefiting from it? It really doesn't sound like there is anything.

No. To be really blunt, women do not appreciate that the average man could kill them without much struggle. This doesn't happen not because of laws, but because 99% of men arent monsters and have an understanding of right&wrong. For the small percentage of men that commit violence on women, the same laws do absolutely nothing to stop them doing it until caught.

well, considering 1&2 of the 4 involve the removal of the entire clitoral glans or the exposed part, i think you should read up on the types yourself. The third is stitching together of the vulva to create as close to a seal as possible, making basic urination difficult. I'd also say thats worse than circumcision. Granted the fourth is literally 'anything else' so yes this could be less severe than circumcision.
/r/MensRights14/08/25 06:52 AM

no, ive also not said that it isnt FGM either. I said that the statement that the majority of FGM cases are just the hood removal is false, which it clearly is.
/r/MensRights14/08/25 06:49 AM

ive not said circumcision isnt male mutilation at any point, FGM is just worse. Its bizarre that you deal in absolutes only.
/r/MensRights14/08/25 04:52 AM

No, thats the standard. Female genital mutilation's aim is to remove pleasure from any future sexual activity, as a primary function of the procedures. The removal of just the hood isnt even listed as a type of mutilation in the FGM types, because it doesnt exist without the removal of the clitoris. Its also worth noting that when I say removal of the clitoris, its common for them to remove the entire clitoral glans (the structure below skin) as well as the visable part of the clitoris.

well, unless you think circumcision involves removing the helmet and stitching the penis so its unable to reach a full erection, yes it is very different.
/r/MensRights13/08/25 07:55 PM
-27

Genital mutilation in women involves the removal of the clitoris and usually tight stitching of the vulva. Its not comparable to circumcision.

The generalised use of 'your' is informal 😅 This is now actually embarrassing. It is nice to see xenophobic added to your ego, you've really gone away with the pseudo-altruism and just swung hard into the opposite direction. I'd hazard towards a light sprinkling of racism because not only are you really obsessed with the idea that I was born here, but couldn't be British, you've also shown your own feelings towards national identity and how impossible it is for even 2nd generation immigrants to …
/r/MensRights25/05/25 06:41 PM

Incidentally who are 'us' you failed to define it. Ahh, wonderful. So you understand that 'us' can have a generalised use, so you're halfway to understanding that 'your' can also be a generalised possessive! If grammar and spelling is so important to you, then you must learn to live up to your own standards I do, I accepted the mistake i made and am asking you to also do that. You've however tripled down on your mistake, but at least the pseudo-altruism has been dropped to just leave ego.
/r/MensRights25/05/25 04:48 PM
1

Of course, a spelling mistake is worse than the inability to comprehend simple English, twice. I'd assumed it wasn't your native tongue because you made a very obvious error so i was giving you the benefit of English being a second language but you've now proceeded to double down on that error. Classic. Especially with the irony of asking me to be introspective, whilst ignoring valid criticism. Add in a few dashes of ego and pseudo-altruism really do paint s wonderful picture for us.
/r/MensRights25/05/25 04:27 PM

Bizarre assumption that I'm American 🤣 I'll assume that English isnt your native tongue, as 'your' & 'you' is possessive but not targete/directed in my reply. So 'your' degree, as it belongs to the person completing it, but not 'yours' as in not your degree Smeg-Life. Your actual degree Smeg-life is irrelevant to your question and my reply.

People really need to remember how to apply context. It's a movie about a doll. People reading into too much might as well be trying to decipher philosophy from watching reality TV 🤣. The whole 'Ken is useless' angle is true, because the context of that brand is that he's just an accessory to Barbie. It's kinda pathetic to get upset about that in my honest opinion, in the same way it's pathetic when people get upset about a comic book character being the same in a TV/Movie.

I think you need some deep therapy because you've ignored all good advice to keep going back to a train wreck and then being surprised when it catches fire again. At this point, it's really hard to say she ruined your life because she's been trying to stay away and you are seeking her out. That's why you need therapy!

I have a buddy from my old job who recently got married. This should have all been discussed in detail and agreed before he got married. she claims that she pays 2/3 of the expenses, which is untrue as their biggest expense, like most people, is the mortgage he pays in full. He also pays power bills, water, car payments And this is where the detail part has been lacking, simply put your buddy and his wife should print out every bill paid and allocate who pays it. From that they can work out the …

You sure they were White Knights and not just dudes who have been there and know there is no point arguing 99% of the time? I've broken up a few arguments with mates on night outs with "What outcome do you want here?" and "Is this situation worth it?" and that's just between dudes.

A guy from Afganistán made a post here before he talked about the drug trade and stuff and how it fucks men over. Apparently Afganistán makes a lot of heroin. You know Saudi Arabia isn't Afghanistan right? They don't even share a border.

From what I can gather, the movie is very degrading to men, from portraying men as unintelligent, incompetent fools with no self worth or self respect, and basically painting a picture to the viewer that all wrong in the world is the fault of men Not even close. The movie includes "Ken", in various forms, who exists within Barbies world. Ken the doll has always been a nothing character, and just an accessory so he's a nothing character in the film. He does get a decent character arc and stops be…

You've literally not set out an argument to counter? Your whole reply is, 'I disagree even though I have zero understanding of the UK system. I also feel the use of a 200yr old word is propaganda and disagree with its definition'. Please, present more than fluff opinion and I'll be happy to discuss it but currently I've got more sense out of the wind outside then your replies 🤣
/r/MensRights07/10/22 12:18 PM

Sure, a turn of phrase used for 200 years is propaganda against dad's. You're whole response is laughable. You've disagreed with the definition of a word.... That's not really logical now is it. You've also applied US based logic to the UK based spousal support and child support system which is very different than the US. You'd have included in your response how similar they were, if you'd even bothered to check or attempt to apply an evidenced based approach. I'm so glad your reply ends with yo…

Yea, they aren't the same at all that's frankly such a ludicrous and over the top comparison I think I've ever read. But then you've used "accords to you" wrong... "Accords to xxx" means power has been granted to XXX, so in your use the CMS would be transferring power to you.
/r/MensRights07/10/22 07:43 AM

It's not Propaganda at all, it's not biased or misleading as a father who spent 2 days a year with his son and didn't financially support him is by definition feckless, disreputable and idle. You can't just claim propaganda when it's a term you don't like, for sure it's a term thats over used but that's not the same as propaganda. You're also pulling in random shit that's irrelevant to this case, or the facts we've been presented with. Child support and Spousal Maintenance are two separate thing…

Not at all. I had the reverse absolutely zero money, clothes from charity shops and lost property at school but dad was/is always supportive.

I do, but the other thing is being there and he didn't do that either. His kid said he saw him a couple of times a year and post 18 no blame can go anywhere else. He didn't financially support his kid, he didn't emotionally support his kid and the no doubt caused damage by texting him a suicide note...

I did read it. He was worried because the unpaid debt has hit £11k and most people would be worried about that. It got to that level because he wasn't paying or not paying enough over years.
/r/MensRights06/10/22 08:17 PM
0

Yea, I understand a £11k bill is frightening bit it came from years of not paying. Its the same as any debt, apart from its not an impact to your credit its an impact to your child.
/r/MensRights06/10/22 08:15 PM
1

Why can't you imagine he's a dead beat dad? No idea where you're from, but CSA calculations in the UK are pretty simple and use a generic calculator as a base. If he was earning £30k a year (avg salary for car sales) he would be expected to pay £300 a month. If he lost his job his CSA would drop to £30 a month. You don't have to go through the courts, you just update CMS online and it adjusts it.
/r/MensRights06/10/22 07:48 PM

No idea, but if he refused to pay child support I don't exactly have faith he was capable of being a good father. With poor character choices like that I doubt he even fought for his son. It's irrelevant too, the kid is 22 so he had 4 years to try to seem him. Going by what the kid said he was pretty much a stranger who tried to manipulate him.
/r/MensRights06/10/22 07:24 PM
-7

He basically didn't pay when his kid was young so the debt was still outstanding + ongoing payments. All around he sounds like a shite father, from the interview with his Son he saw the dad 2 times a year.

My comment makes it quite clear where I stand and that the generalised circumcision in the US is a bizarre thing. I'm European, and most European men aren't cut unless it forms part of their religion. That's a much bigger challenge to change but it's also not applicable to my comment that the U.S.A custom is bizarre.
/r/MensRights10/09/22 04:58 PM

fgm involves the removal of the clitoris so it's not really on the same level. If circumcision involved the removal of the glans along with the skin then its the same. Surgery to the labia is not illegal. However, I still agree it's an odd practice especially as its mot common in Europe but is in Africa and East Asia.

Legally sexually assaulted vs personal boundary. I've had my body touched, grabbed etc. but it doesn't bother me so I wouldn't class that as assault If someone kissed me, than I would class that as assault, otherwise the wife might be the one doing the assaulting 🤣

My comment: "If you wouldn't vote for a candidate because they're a woman, then it's hard to say you're not causing a shift to male only representatives." Your "quote" "you're not causing a shift to male only representatives (just because you wouldn't vote for a candidate just because she is a woman)." /r/MensRights29/08/22 10:30 AM

Your first point is a contradiction because refusing to vote for a female candidate because of gender by definition skews the preference. You haven't quoted me, you've changed the words, punctuation and reordered the structure so it doesn't make sense. You should have closed the quote half way despite there would still be inaccuracies but its a better effort. An inverted comma is a single ' as a normal comma is singular. but all of the definitions have become pretty interchangeable over the year…

Your reply is just a mess. Your first point is a contradiction and I'm not sure who you're quoting within your inverted double quote marks but it isn't me? Second, you've put "Question 2" but that's the only question you've presented? Third, it's a irrelevant point. My response is to the OP question so whether or not I care that there is female representation isn't important to OPs comment or my reply. Personally I don't, I just want better candidates.

I tend to agree. The argument that the voter base is 51-54% female doesn't make sense either as 9/10 there isn't a female politician to vote for. If they "didn't vote" for a man I man would still win.... The real question is why isn't there more female politicians, and in general the ones that do seem to make it are targeted by media and usually give up. Tulsi Gabbard being a great example. The expansive question is, is that men's fault? I'd argue no its not our fault in general but I've heard a…

Jesus. Instead of lifting women up to be less sensitive Men have started to go down to their level and get offended by everything. For sure it's a double standard, but if I had to pick getting hit on on nights out or an A-sexual world you seem to want I know which one I'd choose.

it's fucking crazy! I blame the increase on divorce on how stupid our society is becoming. Disagree, until there is legislation to allow a parent to formally and officially renege any and all legal/financial responsibility one-sided abortion is a better option for most. To that end I'm pro a father being able to decide to get an abortion in a one sided way too. The real question is why didn't you know that she was Pro-abortion before you got married? Jane Foster first appeared as Thor in 1978, 10th edition of the What If series. First black Captain America was 19 years ago (2003), Isaiah Bradley I know nothing about Hawkeye because he's always been a chump, but first time Kate Bishop became the Female Hawkeye was 2005 But you're right, comics being released well before Iron Man (2008) are definitely part of some MCU conversion theory.

Jesus, calm down. You've started seeing bias and your narrative where it isn't. Half of the points you've made are story arcs from the original comics and the others you've just found offensive for no reason. There are real problems that men face in the world, you being upset there's a woman on the big screen in a leading role isn't one of them.
