You want your offspring to have the best chance at survival, hence money, right?

Biologically speaking, the entire meaning of life is for women to find the best mate to carry her offspring? Do you therefore think women are unfairly criticised for gold digging and seeking only tall partners?

Well, men will fuck anything that moves, so, naturally the standards demanded of women are lower??? The question could probably also be framed as "which gender simps harder"

FDS doesn't advocate for relying on your partner for financial support, or relying on men in general. They also are strongly against the idea of being a SAHM. You'll find that these two things go against liberal feminism, which is a school of thought that boils down to "any choice is a feminist choice if you call yourself a feminist". They are very conservative when it comes to casual sex though, I think, which goes against the liberal feminist ethos of sexual empowerment is a form of empowermen…

I agree with that. But I feel that that's an adjacent point. Dead bedrooms are a problem of women having low standards for their partner's physical attributes and believing in the lie of "only personality matters" But yeah - people should in general stop jumping into relationships to avoid loneliness, it does nobody good.

Looking at empirical reality, couples rarely have the guy as 'the looker'. The girl is always the beauty, and you routinely see beautiful women with mediocre men. Women certainly have low standards for relationships (in this aspect, at least) I see a lot of comments saying that women swipe on less than 1% of men. I do actually think this is true. Most of us would agree, however that men on tinder are not looking for relationships, whilst women may be? Just like women have low standards for relat…

It's not about the consequences, it's about the moral principle itself. So even if there was 0% chance of it ever coming out, you'd expect most people wouldn't go for it because it is categorically wrong.

I wonder how you'd feel if a feminist chimed in to say "women have more attempted suicides" while a man talked about how pressures on men to be the breadwinner contributed to their suicide attempt. I would be horrified, tbh.

How smug you must feel about being "right" about someone's recount of their misery.

'It was extremely common and it worked.' I don't know if this is true. A woman who divorced her husband would have no financial means to make a life by herself; she couldn't even own a bank account, there was nowhere to go. I think a lot of women were unhappy in silence. There was also notably high rates in hysteria and depression in middle upper class American women who supposedly 'had it all' in the sense of being secure with a nice home, working husband, white picket fence, etc. as noted by p…

from desperate guys just looking to get laid. Desperate guys pile on immediately, rushing to the woman’s defense without any consideration for whether she is right or wrong. So what you're saying is..men have ruined dating for men?

They also tend to see sex everywhere and can't comprehend the idea that women can have sex for their own selfish reasons that have nothing to do with empowerment or liberal feminism. You've hit the nail on the head there. I was wondering if it's maybe because everything is so politicised nowadays, so we only attribute political motivations to people's actions and not other ones But yeah-with the idea that sex devalues one gender and not another, it's a curious thing to me. Like, we could one day…

'After men cheat more' That option only exists if you're George Clooney, very rich and successful, and have aged like fine wine. Men who didn't take care of themselves in their 20s with skincare and diet etc. can't take that options if i'm being honest Women are not queuing up for mediocre balding 40 year olds

I'd pick the guy out of my league, no question about it. I wouldn't have any moral hangups either. I know i'm supposed to 'pine' afterwards and 'get attached' to him as per the social narrative, cos women are supposed to be the ones who want reassurance. Hasn't very much been an issue yet

It is not empowering, no. However, I'm curious to hear about how you feel about men using casual sex as a way of climbing the male hierarchy, i.e. to gain status with other men by sleeping with a lot of women. Do you see that as wrong too? When men sleep around, are they sexualising themselves? Gotta be consistent
/r/PurplePillDebate07/11/21 02:00 AM

If a woman wants to be treated as a sexual object and use her sexuality for her own gain What else would I be sleeping with someone for, if not for myself? Huh? Are you finding lots of women who are sleeping with someone else out of self-pity, or as a nice gesture?

Yeah, it is not a good thing. Us women need to stop being people-pleasers, although I say that being nice and accommodating is probably a thing drummed into you early in life, but gotta un-learn that. Have to start saying what we really think about things

I've seen what you're talking about, and I've done it myself. But, it wasn't because I had exactly the same opinion as everyone, it was because I didn't want to be seen as disagreeable or argumentative Is that silly? Perhaps But look, I doubt that the interviews with women mirroring each other's answers proves that all women "think the same" or are victims of groupthink. They probably DO have differing opinions, but they just don't like to be perceived as bitchy and disagreeable
/r/PurplePillDebate23/10/21 03:46 AM

Exactly. The effort that is expected from women, appearance-wise, usually leads to more grooming, attention to fashion, and care with things like makeup and hair. This leads to the average woman being far more attractive than the average man. It's not surprising, then, that the average woman has more 'options' than the average man

Yeah, I think you're right. Anecdotally, most of my women friends (and me myself) absolutely have basic requirements about looks. We want to be attracted to the person we are with. Tbh I think everyone does, and that nobody should be crucified for it. I would say looks are a thing that are necessary but not sufficient (i.e. I would date someone who is interesting with mediocre looks over a boring chad) Basically women think they are not as shallow as men merely because they demand a guy be hot a…

I read it from here: https://www.newyorker.com/culture/cultural-comment/the-rage-of-the-incels It's a great read, very funny too - '"Society has become a place for worship of females and it’s so fucking wrong, they’re not Gods they are just a fucking cum-dumpster,” a typical rant on an incel message board reads.' I did a paper on Carli Friedman's work so I've had a look at data that supports what I'm saying about other social groups (https://meridian.allenpress.com/inclusion/article-abstract/7/1…

Saw this thing somewhere that words it better than I ever could. "When women are undesirable, they blame themselves. When men are undesirable, they blame women." An undesirable woman will look at herself and conclude that its her physical imperfections or some personal flaw that makes her unlovable. Contrastingly, a man will find all kinds of theories about how its actually a systemic issue, or a matter of women having unfair standards The truth is, PLENTY of social groups that have a hard time …

I'm thinking the same thing. A lot of the posts on this thread now are the same tune now, i.e. male OP whining about how hard it is for them to get women to date them and how men are disadvantaged in dating. I'm wondering if it's because redpill subs have been banned and they're all flocking here now? Why is every goddamn post along the same lines of woMEn bAD

To be fair, there's probably a big overlap between "virgins", "women who married their first partner" and religious women who don't believe in divorce.

Not really... the matriarchy celebrates women being independent and that "I need no man" kind of attitude... dependence on man of any kind is frowned upon. I think it's also worth pointing out the comparative here. Women ruin men's lives by using them for free food and free shit, but men ruin women's lives through sexual assault and domestic violence....

"This is part of why men can't really be as vulnerable with each other" I'm actually impressed at how you somehow managed to link men not being able to open up to each other to a supposed inequality in the sExuAL mArkEtpLace. That's the best stretch ive seen all day Look, not everything in life has to be viewed through a sexual lens, and this post reads as someone for whom sex is such a singular and overarching goal in life that every thing gone wrong in his life is attributed to some "systemic …

Your argument is ridiculous. Do you see lesbians going around hitting on/making advances towards women in revealing clothing? No, only men do that. Furthermore, if I see a man in a tight-fitting shirt, or speedos, my first instinct is not to "indulge", as you say. The problem is not with the clothes at all, but with men over sexualising normal situations If men can't control themselves in such simple scenarios, they are not fit to run for office, hold positions of power and make important decisi…

"Let them hit" 1) how are women supposed to stop men from hitting on them inappropriately and 2) why are women supposed to be the ones stopping men from hitting on them inappropriately. Bad behaviour is the responsibility of the person doing it, lol

Yes, yes, women not wanting our partners to be ogling instagram models' butts on instagram is "unreasonable" and "insecure", but gOd foRbId a woman in a relationship be "orbited" by creepy men , how dare she

The situations are not even comparable?! Put it this way, if people are hitting on my partner left and right, he is not the one pursuing them and so i have no reason to be insecure, whereas in the latter scenario, is he is intentionally seeking other people out (i.e. ogling other women through social media, sidenote: how is that different from ogling other women on the street in real life? lol).
/r/PurplePillDebate14/08/21 02:30 AM

The conclusion im drawing here is that men are less well-behaved and hit on women left and right, whereas women know not to be creepy and are more respectful of boundaries lol. So basically: men are insecure due to the actions of other men behaving badly....how are women at fault?
