I've had to go to the hospital due to severe bullying. This kind of overt hostility has never stopped. The only advice I get online is people telling me I must be a horrible person. I'm kind of at a loss wondering what I did to deserve my bones being broken as a child. You can say things are becoming more sympathetic towards men, but I can't say I've experienced any of it.

I've been so severely bullied my entire life. Bullies almost killed me when I was in 3rd grade. I can honestly say that I am a misfit. Love and affection can be pleasant bonuses in life. I don't blame anyone for wanting something positive. However, these are things largely outside of the control of an individual. You can not make or convince a person to care about you. If you think there is no benefit to a relationship, then don't pursue it. Reality isn't black and white. Everyone can have different reasons for wanting a relationship. I guess you wouldn't consider love to be something that someone can provide.
