I mustered up enough courage to call a friend out on all his negging and flirty behaviour. He apologized but did it again. So, when I withdrew, he asked if he had offended me and I gave him a piece of my mind. Instead of apologizing, he accused me of blowing it out of proportion and became really defensive. So, I cut him out. It's important because for the first time, instead of avoiding the person, I respected my boundaries and stood up for myself.

Thanks, I went pornfree about 2 months back and by all means would like to keep it that way. And ,no kidding, it had my perception of sex totally twisted. I am glad to be finally seeing things more clearly.

Firstly, thanks for suggesting Gail Dines. Perhaps, it was because how the question was worded, but I was requesting healthy alternatives in the context of sex-ed. For eg: The site 'OMG, Yes' which has excellent content on female pleasure.

Thanks, that's a salient advice. In connection with your point, what then would be an appropriate way of handling 'What do you look for in a guy?' question.

Only if you associate them with a particular gender. And, OP clearly mentions having a balance of the two energies as an individual plus a caveat to it.

I think what OP meant is that the ideal scenario would be when one's masculine and feminine energies, which is not the same as male and female roles, are in balance. She is encouraging one to find this balance for their own well-being over anything else. The post is sort of a caveat to the philosophy, which is to say that - it is beneficial to tap into the feminine energy especially early on for some very good reasons. Once you are past that stage, you and your partner will naturally evolve to f…

Two books that I would HIGHLY recommend and are a must read 1) Smart Girl's guide to self care - Shahida Arabi 2) Mr Unavailable and the Fallback girl - Natalie Leu Although neither address 'fear of failure' directly but will definitely give a holistic perspective on how to level up both broadly in life and specifically in relationships.

Does anybody have a good rebuttal for often heard 'misconceptions' : Men are more logical than women Men are visual creatures ( yes, I have read the handbook) as an excuse to objectify women

Thanks OP for the reminder. In case somebody is looking to learn self defense, I would suggest Brazilian Jiu-jitsu, which uses technique over strength.

I don't know which KPop fan might benefit from this but it's a great vetting tactic. All it took was a couple mentions for him to show me the depth of his character. MIC DROP.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
