It depends a lot on the culture. In my country a lot of people say that especially adults or older people. Teenagers are more open minded and understanding so they dont usually say this.

Yes I understand but abuse is part of everyones life. You cannot escape some form of abuse so you have to learn to recognise it and to be ready to respond when that happens which usually involves assertiveness training. If I learned one thing in life is that no one can heal you and solve your problems and you have to develop some kind of toughness to cope with lifes abuses. It is not about what someone wants sometimes you just have to do what is necessary to survive.

Whatever happens man I know that you are strong enough to face anything in this world and that there is no problem bigger than you. You have to be tougher and learn to be assertive so that you wont face abuse in the future. Thanks for sharing.
