That's manosphere talking points, my ex has been crying about how women read romance novels lately. It's pretty funny. He's pushing 40 and still single and he talks just like you.

"He was strong, unyielding, aggressive, unemotional, unaffected, etc. A completely sexualized fantasy of a masculine man that comes from movies, porn, literature." Idk this sounds like fear projection on OP's part. This fantasy sounds clownish to me. Men! We.... do know y'all have emotions. We've seen our dads cry and shit. It's not a big of a deal. We cry too. We get it. If a woman gets the ick over your tears then she's not worth it. You've merely dodged a shit-coated bullet. That said, as a r…
/r/PurplePillDebate08/12/24 06:12 AM

That's just your sour grapes talking, pissypants. This isn't a gendered issue. You're butthurt about some girl or something. Shall I find you some tissues to dry those tears?

We don't hate all men, just the ones like you, personally.

Keep not cuddling your wife after sex. Yeah. That will be the thing that cures modern marriage. /s

She'll absolutely lose respect for you if she catches you looking at porn. Just stick to your porn and don't get married. Since you absolutely plan to look at porn, just do that. You don't even deserve a wife. Glad to help! <3

"Hey sweetie, the reason I get out of bed before you do after sex, two thirds of the time, is because it subconsciously communicates to you that I'm a high value guy that you need to chase, thereby increasing your drive for me and ultimately making you happier in the relationship." Man what the hell is this clown barf? You're not cuddling your woman after she gave you sex because you read some manipulative crap in a book? You're the biggest simp in the world. And a fragile little narcissist. Tha…

I think it's a very negative way to interpret it, but it's also an accurate way to interpret it. That's the problem!

They're not normal, you're right. Dr. Peterson is not your average man. But not normal does not necessarily have to mean pathological. He's an intelligent, highly sensitive man with a rare personality type, which is what allows him to think differently. But keep spitting on what you don't understand!

What the devil does it matter what the topic was? If you have a good enough imagination and can immerse yourself deeply enough, this kind of emotional response can happen. It's not instability in his case, it's depth of feeling.

"Not everyone will take them seriously" is a far, FAR cry from what you're implying. Big whoop. He knows not everyone will take him seriously the moment he considers the existence of God or that lonely men are worthy of help.

Yup, am woman and am here. I hate the hypocrisy of feminism. You can't fix hate with more hate. You can't fix sexism with more sexism. Men's rights are human rights. Everyone should care when anyone, regardless of their genetics, is oppressed. Men and women should be working together for the good of all.

Can't speak for OP but some of us have a sense of honor, or compassion for men, or are fed up with the lies and false promises. Some of us have sons, or people we love that happen to be male and were mistreated. Some of us see the gender wars as being a root cause of degradation in society. Some of us simply tried to apply a little logic with feminists only to be treated like shit. Pick your poison, there's lots to choose from.

Oh God not this garbage again. Anyone can rape or be raped. The social perception someone has of the perpetrator is meaningless in determining whether someone committed a crime.

"if you're not with us 100% you're against us" Yep, I encounter this mentality everywhere, and it's the death of discourse. Which I guess is the point.

It's true. I asked someone (a man) to rethink being derogatory about an entire sex (men) and I got downvoted and called a pickme. I guess they think their logic is so unassailable that I must have ulterior motives for denouncing the spread of hate. Apparently the only reason anyone would be against those things while female is to try to get dates.... which is itself pretty sexist. 🤣

I knew women like that, too. We all do. That's what makes this so outrageous.

If other people want to get married ok for them, but I've got no interest. Maybe just educate men about how they get taken to the cleaners, educate about prenups, and ways they can protect themselves. If they still want to go ahead they at least can't say they weren't warned.

They have "non invasive prenatal paternity" testing now. Just need a blood draw from both parents and somehow they can detect fetal blood cells from the mom's blood? Idk, don't understand exactly how they do it, but it's pretty cool. Costs about $1000 USD.
/r/MensRights27/07/22 07:43 PM
4

What I'm trying to explain to you is that they now have ways to confirm paternity of a fetus that only requires a blood draw from both parents, so there is no risk to the fetus. No needle in the belly.

Amniocentesis can be risky but there are newer, safer methods. Look up Non-invasive Prenatal Paternity.

It's not the goal of feminism. The goal of feminism has moved away from the goal of catching women up to men and giving them equal rights. Now it's trying to establish a gynocracy. Your echo chamber isn't honest with you.

The pushback against feminism when I was growing up came mostly from people like Rush Limbaugh. He would say things like "the reason we have feminism is because of ugly women". I was never exposed to anything more until I had access to the internet starting in the late 90s/ early 2000s. That was when I was really exposed to in depth discussion of these issues. I'm struck by the amount of issues men deal with that they now openly talk about. The principal issues I used to hear about were divorce …

They tell women they hate women too. I think one comment I saw just a few minutes ago on r/feminism was talking about internalized misogyny. Something to the effect of "it must be hard respecting men who tell you you're dumb and only good for making babies and serving them". I wish they'd use some common sense. What are the odds that every single woman critical of feminism is going to stand for some asshole calling her stupid? This just isn't something very many people do. I'm not subservient. I…

The moment you compare a pedophile, someone who preys on children, with someone reporting a tax evader, you lose what little credibility you had to begin with.

Sadly it's true. They are drawn to the field. Teaching children is how the radical left indoctrinates, because it works very well.

I don't think all of them are the kind of feminists that wear pussy hats at the capitol, though. There are different types of feminists, and not all of them hate or blame men for everything. Someone else suggested talking to former grad students. (Or just any former students) I think trying to rep the professor, do a little research, is a great idea. Might be that you can skate through. It's not like you signed up for a gender studies class, so it's possible the topic won't come up much, unless …

I hear you on the "most studies in this field are deeply flawed". As is psychologytoday. That was kind of my point; I don't really have adequate support for my hypothesis. (Nor a willingness to do more than a hurried Google search) Yet I still hold to a gut feeling that relationships work best when you find someone in your strata of intelligence. I think it's pretty obvious why. I guess I could concede that in simply getting dates it is less important because that's the discovery period. JUST FO…

I don't have research to support this assumption, but I'm willing to bet people tend to date more or less within their own IQ range. I looked for some figures on the topic but wasn't successful. Closest I got was a broad spectrum article on psychologytoday.com that states intelligent people tend to be more well liked by their peers and that there is an advantage in dating for moderately intelligent people. Your assertion that women actively select "dumb chads" wasn't specifically addressed. What…

It's a silly personality test based on Jungian theory. It's great that you know nothing about it because honestly it's not that great. But if you did, and you confirmed you were ENTP, we could both have a little laugh right now. 🤣 Always lol if you can lol, amirite?

Incel culture and mgtow is fairly new. This shit was made possible by the internet, because since the late 90s people spend waaaaaay too much time indoors doing nothing. They play video games, stream shows, watch porn, and whine about lack of willing sexual partners. That was time they could have used for self improvement and social interaction. That part of the equation always escapes them. Furthermore these same people trickle into online echo chambers for validation seeking and brainstorming …

I'd ask how he feels about being one. Maybe it's a choice. Maybe he's saving it for marriage, or the one, or maybe he just hasn't clinched it for whatever reason. Either way I can't see it making a difference unless he's choosing to remain celibate for life.
