| 2 | Have you noticed how every "Living with ADHD" article is based on a woman?Let's be honest a lot of it is "Big Psych" bias. Men are statistically less likely to go to doctors and seek help so from an industry standpoint it makes more sense to make products that cater to their main clientele and market it that way. Don't wanna come across as thoughtless bashing on mental health systems, but the profit incentive does drive both research and development of therapies and medication so it's only natural when the proponents of that system are confined by normative beliefs ar… | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 14/05/25 02:04 AM |

| 41 | Once you see it you can't unsee itTo be honest that has always been the biggest limiting factor for left wing movements from growing. Instead of pooling time and resources it becomes a battle to see who's concerns are addressed first and a lot of moving the goal post. I think there was this false sense of unity during the Obama administration that fizzled out. I still think leftism is the better side of the political spectrum but the other side has it pretty easy by appealing to a broad majority. | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 04/05/25 06:31 AM |
| 2 | How can I apply my Law Degree to the cause?Become a public defender or take on cases for young men with limited criminal records. A lot of people will be in and out of the jail over the course of their lives. But the more of them that get a solid second chance early may grow up to be fathers and husbands or just do more for their community. Like a ripple effect. A lot of that gets taken away by the prison system. | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 04/05/25 03:18 AM |
