Your comment about independence is a bit ironic considering the main point of the article is The World Only Cares About What It Can Get from You. I suppose you don't eat food grown by farmers?

In the loosest sense possible, it sounds like femininity > masculinity That said, the former was definitely less disruptive than the latter.

You're right. We should let it crumble into the stone age, so we can have sex in caves. Fuck science.

The boyfriend shouldn't say "bullshit, where's the proof?" but he also shouldn't murder two people.

The point is that hypothetically if the genders were swapped it would hypothetically be considered largely unacceptable and hypothetically might even be reported and removed if posted on Facebook? In my opinion, swapping the genders on this advice would make it equally offensive. But then again, my opinion doesn't stack up well against all of your hypothetical assumptions.

As someone said further down, this is practical advice for both genders. All I see from this advice is "have high standards," which I don't have a problem with. OP's uneasiness might arise from his own sense of inadequacy.

TIL judging an audition is literally treating someone like less than a person.

What? How? 50% male, 50% female made sense to me.

It's a weird disease. 50% of the population are the carriers, while the other 50% are the ones who get infected.

/r/TheBluePill is a parody/satire sub. Like SRS, it is not for debate, it's for reinforcing already-made opinions. /r/RedPillDebate is a subreddit that was made recently (just 20 hours ago) for actual debate. It was created in collaboration between /u/PurpleVNeck, a blue-piller, and /u/theubercuber, a red-piller.

Her comment is at least being upvoted now. (Along with a tedious and preachy lecture on the use of the words "men" and "female.")

As I said before, I know I can fix it. Last year, I graduated from a sheltered middle school with a small number of students. The transition to a large, regional high school was a big one. In this new high school, the social scene is tremendously different and much more harsh. In terms of social skills, I've had to gain lot of ground this year. So, yes, I am putting in the effort. I take responsibility for my flaws. I'm not trying to justify them, I'm only asking for you to take a moment and loo…

I know I can fix it. Social awkwardness is more so a lack of social skills, however, than it is a lack of confidence. I have plenty of confidence. I was offended when you said that socially awkward people don't "respect themselves," which is completely untrue. People are socially awkward for a number of reasons. If you want a reason to disrespect people or a group to be disgusted at, so be it. You're an asshole, though.

I'm a socially awkward person. Because of this social awkwardness, people automatically lose a large amount of respect for me. I find that this is somewhat unfair, given that I have a lot of other intelligent qualities and worth that are hidden deeper inside of me. This is why I always give people the benefit of the doubt. If someone I don't know very well immediately shows signs of an undesirable quality, I still treat them the same and give them another chance.

Because males innately disrespect women, and you need to intervene? EDIT: I'm just trying to figure out what retarded thought process you would have to contain to put that on a billboard.

I have to say, as an outsider of /r/TheRedPill, the evolutionary psychology bit is the only part I find that makes sense to me. Then again, I don't have much of this "experience."
